Jeremiah 28
1 It happened the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେହି ବର୍ଷ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକୀୟର ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଆରମ୍ଭ ସମୟରେ, ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷର ପଞ୍ଚମ ମାସରେ ଗିବୀୟୋନ୍ ନିବାସୀ ଅସୂରର ପୁତ୍ର ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ଲୋକସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ମୋତେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲା,
2 "Thus speaks Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, 'I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
“ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ଯୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛୁ।
3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon:
ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ଯେସକଳ ପାତ୍ର ବାବିଲକୁ ନେଇ ଯାଇଅଛି, ସେସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିବା।
4 and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, who went to Babylon,' says Jehovah; 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'"
ପୁଣି, ଯିହୋୟାକୀମ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହୋୟାଖୀନ୍କୁ, ଯିହୁଦାରୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସହିତ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ଯୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା।”
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of Jehovah,
ତହିଁରେ ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥିବା ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
6 even the prophet Jeremiah said, "Amen: Jehovah do so; Jehovah perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity, from Babylon to this place.
ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଏହା କହିଲେ, “ଆମେନ୍; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେପରି କରନ୍ତୁ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ପାତ୍ର ଓ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ଲୋକସକଳକୁ ବାବିଲରୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଅଛ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟସବୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତୁ।
7 Nevertheless hear you now this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people:
ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ଲୋକଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିଅଛି, ତାହା ଶୁଣ।
8 The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓ ମୋର ପୂର୍ବରେ ଥିବା ପୁରାତନ କାଳର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଅନେକ ଦେଶ ଓ ବୃହତ ବୃହତ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ, ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ ବିଷୟକ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
9 The prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall happen, then shall the prophet be known, that Jehovah has truly sent him."
ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଶାନ୍ତିର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରେ, ସେହି ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ସଫଳ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସିନା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ତାହାକୁ ପଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଜଣା ପଡ଼େ।”
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.
ତହିଁରେ ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ ଯୁଆଳି କାଢ଼ିନେଇ ତାହା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇଲା।
11 Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, "Thus says Jehovah: 'Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations.'" The prophet Jeremiah went his way.
ଆଉ, ହନାନୀୟ ଲୋକସମୂହର ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ କହିଲା, “ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହିରୂପେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରର ଯୁଆଳି, ସବୁ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ କାଢ଼ି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା।” ଏଥିରେ ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଆପଣା ବାଟରେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ।
12 Then the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ ଯୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯିରିମୀୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,
13 "Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, 'Thus says Jehovah: You have broken the bars of wood; but you have made in their place bars of iron.
“ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ ହନାନୀୟକୁ କୁହ, ‘ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାଷ୍ଠର ଯୁଆଳି ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛ ପ୍ରମାଣ; ମାତ୍ର ତହିଁ ବଦଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୁହାର ଯୁଆଳି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ।
14 For thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: "I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the animals of the field also."'"
କାରଣ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଶୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେପରି ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରର ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରେ ଲୁହାର ଯୁଆଳି ରଖିଅଛୁ ଓ ସେମାନେ ତାହାର ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ପଶୁଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାକୁ ଦେଇଅଛୁ।’”
15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
ତହିଁରେ ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ହେ ହନାନୀୟ, ଏବେ ଶୁଣ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରାଉଅଛ।
16 Therefore thus says Jehovah, 'Look, I will send you away from off the surface of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have spoken rebellion against Jehovah.'"
ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ‘ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ଦୂର କରିଦେବା; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହର କଥା କହିଅଛ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହି ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମରିବ।’”
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
ତହିଁରେ ହନାନୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ସେହି ବର୍ଷର ସପ୍ତମ ମାସରେ ମଲେ।
