< Jeremiah 22 >
1 Thus said Jehovah: "Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
Hoe t’Iehovà: Mizotsoa mb’añ’ anjombam-panjaka’ Iehodà mb’eo, vaho saontsio eo o entañe zao:
2 Say, 'Hear the word of Jehovah, king of Judah, who sits on the throne of David, you, and your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.
ami’ty hoe: Janjiño ty tsara’ Iehovà, ry mpanjaka’ Iehodà miambesatse am-piambesa’ i Davide, ihe naho o mpitoro’oo vaho ondati’o mimoak’ an-dalam-bey retoañe.
3 Thus says Jehovah: "Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence, to the foreigner, the fatherless, nor the widow; neither shed innocent blood in this place.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Ano ty hatò naho ty havantañañe, naho avotsoro am-pità’ o mpamorekekeo o nikamerañeo, naho ko isengea’o hery, ko mijoy ty renetane, ndra ty bode-rae, ndra ty vantotse, vaho ko mampiori-dio-màliñe an-toetse atoy.
4 For if you do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
Aa naho toe anoe’ areo i tsaraeñey, le himoak’ amo lalambei’ ty anjomba toio o mpanjaka hiambesatse am-piambesa’ i Davideo, hiningitse sarete naho soavala, ie naho o mpitoro’eo naho ondati’eo.
5 But if you will not hear these words, I swear by myself, says Jehovah, that this house shall become a desolation."
F’ie tsy mañaoñe o tsara zao le hifantako am-batako, hoe t’Iehovà, te hangoakoake ty anjomba toy.
6 For thus says Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: "You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.
Aa hoe t’Iehovà amy anjomba’ i mpanjaka’ Iehodày: Gilade amako irehe, ty andengo’ i Libanone; f’ie toe hanoeko fatrañe, rova tsy amam-pimoneñe.
7 I will prepare destroyers against you, everyone with his weapons; and they shall cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
Ampihentseñako mpandrotsake, songa amam-pialiañe; ho firae’ iereo o mendoraveñe soao, vaho havokovoko’ iareo añ’ afo ao.
8 Many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, 'Why has Jehovah done thus to this great city?'
Fifeheañe maro ty hiary ami’ty rova toy, naho hifanao aman-drañe’e ty hoe: Aa vaho akore o nanoe’ Iehovà ty rova jabajaba toio?
9 Then they shall answer, 'Because they forsook the covenant of Jehovah their God, and worshiped other gods, and served them.'
Le hanoiñe ty hoe iereo: Amy t’ie nifary ty fañina’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ iareo, niambane aman-drahare ila’e, nitoroñe iareo.
10 Do not weep for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him who goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country."
Ko roveta’ areo ty mikoromake, ko mangololoike ho aze; fe poñafo ty hoihoy i misesey, amy te tsy himpoly ka, tsy ho isa’e ka i tane nihirifa’ey.
11 For thus says Jehovah touching Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, and who went forth out of this place: "He shall not return there any more.
Fa hoe t’Iehovà ty amy Salome ana’ Iosià, mpanjaka’ Iehodà, i nandimbe an-drae’e Iosiay, i nionjoñe boak’ ami’ty toetse toiy: t’ie tsy himpoly atoy ka;
12 But in the place where they have led him captive, there shall he die, and he shall see this land no more."
fa amy tane aneseañ’ aze ho mpirohiy ty hikoromaha’e, vaho tsy ho isa’e ka ty tane toy.
13 Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his rooms by injustice; who uses his neighbor's service without wages, and doesn't give him his hire;
Hankàñe t’indaty mandranjy ty anjomba’e tsy an-kavantañañe, naho o efe’eo tsy an-katò, mampitolom-pitoroñe tsy an-tambe, vaho tsy atolo’e aze o karama’eo;
14 who says, "I will build me a wide house and spacious rooms," and cuts him out windows; and it is ceiling with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
I manao ty hoe, hatratrañako ty trañoko naho ampalalàheko o efe’eo; le anampaha’e lalan-kedekede, naho temere’e mendoraveñe o rindri’eo, vaho lokoe’e mena mañabasà.
15 Shall you reign, because you strive to excel in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
Mahafehe hao irehe kanao mpisenge mendoraveñe? Tsy nikama naho ninoñe hao o rae’o nitoloñe an-katò naho an-kahiti’e vaho nierañerañeo?
16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Wasn't this to know me?' says Jehovah.
Nitaroñe’e ty enta’ o rarakeo naho o poi’eo; nisoa henane zay. Tsy izay hao ty faharendrehañe ahy? hoe t’Iehovà.
17 "But your eyes and your heart are not but for your covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it."
Toe ami’ty fihàña’o avao o fihaino’oo naho ty arofo’o, naho ami’ty fampiorihan-dio-màliñe naho famorekekeañe vaho fikatramoañe.
18 Therefore thus says Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: "they shall not lament for him, saying, 'Alas my brother. or, Alas sister.' They shall not lament for him, saying, 'Alas lord.' or, 'Alas his majesty.'
Aa le hoe t’Iehovà ty am’ Iehoiakime ana’ Iosià, mpanjaka’ Iehodà: tsy hirovetañe ty hoe: Hoihoy ty rahalahiko, Hoihoy ty rahavave! Tsy hangololoiha’iareo ty hoe: Aa! ry talè, ndra, Aa! ty enge’e!
19 He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
Ie haleveñe am-pandeveñam-borìke ao ho kozozoteñe vaho havokovoko alafe’ o lalam-bei’ Ierosalaime ao.
20 Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from Abarim; for all your lovers are destroyed.
Mionjona mb’e Libanone naho mikoiakoiaha, poñafo e Basane añe ty fiarañanaña’o; vaho mangololoiha e Abarime añe fa fonga demoke o sakeza’oo.
21 I spoke to you in your prosperity; but you said, 'I will not hear.' This has been your way from your youth, that you did not obey my voice.
Nivolañe ama’o iraho ami’ty firaoraoa’o fa hoe irehe, Izaho tsy hitsanoñe, sata’o tamy naha ajalahy azoy ty tsy nañaoñe ty feoko.
22 The wind shall feed all your shepherds, and your lovers shall go into captivity: surely then you will be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.
Ho faopaohe’ i tiokey ze mpiara’o iaby, le homb’ ampandrohizañe añe o sakeza’oo; vaho ho meñare’o naho salare’o ze fonga haratia’o.
23 Inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes your nest in the cedars, how greatly you will groan when pangs come on you, the pain as of a woman in travail.
Ry mpimoneñe e Libanone ao, mpikafitse amo mendorave’eo, akore ty fatariha’o naho mivovo ama’o o fikoritahañe manahake ty fitsongoan’ ampela.
24 As I live," says Jehovah, "though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;
Kanao velon-dRaho hoe t’Iehovà, Ndra te nibangem-pitombok’ an- tañan-kavanako eo t’i Koniaho ana’ Iehoiakime, mpanjaka’ Iehodà, le ho nasintako amako,
25 and I will give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of them of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
vaho ho natoloko am-pità’ o mipay ty fiai’oo, eka! am-pità’ o ihembaña’oo, toe am-pità’ i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele, vaho am-pità’ o nte-Kasdio.
26 I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country, where you were not born; and there you will die.
Le hahifiko mb’an-tane tsy nisamaha’o añe, ihe naho ty rene’o nahatoly azo; le añe ty hihomaha’o.
27 But to the land whereunto their soul longs to return, there shall they not return."
Fe i tane salalae’ iereo himpoliañey, tsy himpolia’ iereo ka.
28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? Is he a vessel in which none delights? Why are they cast out, he and his descendants, and cast into a land that they do not know?
Ondaty sirikaeñe hao ty Koniaho, sinihara jeñake? Karabiba tsy paiañe? Akore te nariañe añe, ie naho o amori’eo, mb’an-tane tsy fohi’ iareo?
29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of Jehovah.
O ry tane, ry tane, ry tane! Janjiño ty tsara’ Iehovà.
30 Thus says Jehovah, "Write this man down childless, a man who will not succeed in his days; for none of his descendants will succeed in sitting on the throne of David, and ruling in Judah.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Sokiro tsy ho aman’anake t’indaty tia, ondaty tsy hiraorao añ’andro’e; amy t’ie tsy ho aman-dahilahy o tiri’eo ze hierañe am-piambesa’e, am-piambesa’ i Davide eo, ndra hifehe e Iehodà ao.
