< James 3 >

1 Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.
Ngoogv ajin vdw, nonu nyi achialvgonv tamsarnv gobv singdu mvngma bvka. Vbv nonu chinsudu, kvvbi amum svnga ngonu tamsarnv vdwa maatar alvbv kairungbv jwngkadaka la rire.
2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone does not stumble in word, this one is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
Ngonu mvnwng ngv rigakpanam am ribvdu. Vbvritola nyigonv ogugo mindudw hv vdwloka rigakpanam go kaama dubolo, hv rvbwngchingdu okv ninyigv atubogv singnam dvdvlo saktungsakpv siladunv.
3 Now if we put bits into the horses' mouths so that they may obey us, we guide their whole body.
Ngonu gora gv naptup lo mingkulo vngla dubv ngonu saasoki am mvlwk la ridu, okv ogolo vnggv so mvngdudw ho vnggv dubv mvladu.
4 And look at the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires.
Vbvmajvka svpw svvnam akonyi mvngka tvka: vv achialvbv kai nvgo okv vkvnv gwlwknv doori lokv mila vnggvdu, umka miang achoknv bangidaching gonv dorla vnggv ladu, okv um parnv ngv ogolo vnggso mvngpvdw ho vnggv ladu
5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest.
Holvgabv riu so lokvka vbvridu, si ka miang achokchai nvbv ridu, vbvrijvka si kairungnv oguogu am googv siladunv. Vmv mvri charching achokchai lokv mootum tumra apum gonyi vdwgo gupakgurak ladunv sum mvngka tvka!
6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. (Geenna g1067)
(Geenna g1067)
7 For all kinds of animals, and birds, of reptiles and sea creatures, are being tamed and have been tamed by humankind.
Ngonu nyia si Pwknamyarnam dvdv nga— mootum gv svnwngsvmin, okv pvta, tabwtai nga, okv Isi blogv rinv ngui mvnwng nga mvnyuk la mvtumritum la rigv ladunv.
8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
Vbvritola yvvka riu sum mvnyuk lama dunv. Si alvmanv ngv okv mvtorritor lamanv, sigv nvnv gv chumdwk kv akomaringdu.
9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people, who are made in the image of God.
Ngonu riu sum Ahtunyi okv Abunyi umbonyikv vla mindu okv oogv Pwknvyarnv ninyigv aingbv pwknamyarnam, nyi kvvbi aka beenvpanv laka ridu.
10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Gamchar vdw sokv umbonyikv vdu okv hoogv gaam akin lokv beenam aka milindu. Ngoogv ajin vdw, sum ngonu vbvrirung moma bvka!
11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?
Sirung rungkin lokv chipunv isi gola kvchaknv isi go biipv silin madunv.
12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Nor is salt water able to produce sweet.
Ngoogv ajin vdw, takuk singnv ngv, olibs apwasi seela madunv; okv anggur amia lokv, takuk apwasi seela madunv, vbvmajvka alu chipu manv isi ngv chipunv isi biilin madunv.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
Nonugv aralo mvngkimvnglak nvgo okv tvvchinlaknv go doodure? Um nonugv alvbv singnam lokv, alvbv rinam lokv angamai bv haapok aami sinam okv mvngkimvnglak nam lokv kaajwk simu sutoka.
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast and do not lie against the truth.
Vbvritola nonugv haapok arwng lo kavtavnam, kvchakchakmi sinam okv atubogv lvga mvngchikbv mvngdula nonuno mvngkimvnglak am kaimvngsu gvla jvjv gv nyirubv rila rimur murgv siyoka.
15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
Vkvnv mvngkimvnglak nam vv nyidomooku lokv imaa dunv; vkvnv vv nyiamooku sokv gvbv ridunv, vv alvmanv dow lokv okv uyuvram lokv ridunv.
16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
Holvgavbolo ogolochinglo nonu gvlo tanium gvvmi sidudw, okv atubogv lvga mvngchik mvngdudw, ho jupjinam okv alvmanv nvgwng mvnwng ngv doodu.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.
Vbvritola Pwknvyarnv gv lokv jinam mvngkimvnglak namv mvnwng nga darwk yarung chodunv; si sarsopoyo laka rimu dunv, damdvnam, okv ajinaramnam dodunv; so si aya ngv akomaringdu okv alvnv kudungkua mvnwng ngaka rilin modu; si kiamnam okv kaadubv rimwngnam vkvnv lokv adu mola ridu.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Okv alvnam si sarsopoyo lo sarsopoyo monv gv ali lilwk kunam lokv boklin nvnga nvvching kunamv.
