Isaiah 51
1 "Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Jehovah: look to the rock you were cut from, and to the hold of the pit you were dug from.
तिमीहरू जो धार्मिकताको पछि लाग्छौ, तिमीहरू जो परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्छौ, मेरो कुरा सुनः तिमीहरू निकालिएका चट्टानलाई र तिमीहरू काटिएका पत्थरलाई हेर ।
2 Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
तिमीहरूका पुर्खा अब्राहाम र तिमीहरूलाई जन्माउने सारालाई हेर । किनकि ऊ एक्लै हुँदा मैले उसलाई बोलाएँ । मैले उसलाई आशिष् दिएँ र उसलाई धैरै बनाएँ ।
3 For Jehovah has comforted Zion; he has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
हो, परमप्रभुले सियोनलाई सान्त्वना दिनुहुनेछ । उहाँले त्यसका सबै उजाड ठाउँहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनुहुनेछ । त्यसको उजाड-स्थानलाई अदनझैं, अनि यर्दन नदी नजिकैको त्यसका मरुभूमिका मैदानहरूलाई परमप्रभुको बगैंचाझैं उहाँले बनाउनुभयो । त्यसमा खुसी र आनन्द, धन्यवाद र गीतको सोर हुनेछ ।
4 "Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.
“ए मेरा मानिसहरू, मेरो कुरामा ध्यान देओ । अनि ए मेरा मानिसहरू, मेरा कुरा सुन । किनकि म एउटा आदेश जारी गर्नेछु र म आफ्नो न्यायलाई जातिहरूका निम्ति ज्योति बनाउनेछु ।
5 My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the peoples; the islands shall wait for me, and on my arm shall they trust.
मेरो धार्मिकता नजिकै छ । मेरो उद्धार बाहिर जानेछ र मेरो बाहुलीले जातिहरूको न्याय गर्नेछ । समुद्र किनारहरूले मलाई पर्खिनेछन् । मेरो बाहुलीका निम्ति तिनीहरू उत्सुकतासाथ आशा गर्नेछन् ।
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell in it shall die in the same way: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
आफ्ना आँखा आकाशतिर उचाल र तल पृथ्वीमुनि हेर, किनकि आकाश धूँवाझैं हराएर जानेछ, पृथ्वी लुगाझैं फाटेर जानेछ र त्यसका बासिन्दाहरू झिंगाझैं मर्नेछन् । तर मेरो उद्धार सदासर्वदा निरन्तर रहनेछ र मेरो धार्मिकताले कदापि काम गर्न छोड्नेछैन ।
7 "Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; do not fear the reproach of men, neither be dismayed at their insults.
ठिक कुरा जान्ने, आफ्नो हृदयमा मेरो व्यवस्था राख्ने मानिसहरू, मेरो कुरा सुनः मानिसहरूका अपमानदेखि नडराओ, न तिनीहरूका दुराचारदेखि निराश होओ ।
8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation to all generations."
किन लुगा खाएझैं कीराले तिनीहरूलाई खानेछ र ऊन खाएझैं औंसाले तिनीहरूलाई खानेछ । तर मेरो धआर्मिकता सदासर्वदा रहनेछ र मेरो उद्धार सबै पुस्ताहरूमा रहनेछ ।”
9 Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of Jehovah; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn't it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
ए परमप्रभुका बाहुली हो, जाग, जाग, आफूमा सामर्थ्य धारण गर । पुराना दिनहरू र प्राचीन समयका पुस्ताहरूमा झैं जगा होओ । राहाबलाई कुल्चने तपाईं नै हुनुहुन्न र, जसले राक्षसलाई छेड्यो?
10 Isn't it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
के तपाईंले समुद्रलाई अर्थात् गहिरो पानीलाई सुकाउनु भएन, र समुद्रको गहिराइलाई उद्धार गरिएकाहरूको निम्ति बाटो बनाउनु भएन र?
11 The ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
परमप्रभुले मोल तिरेर छुटाउनुभएकाहरू फर्किनेछन् र आफ्ना शिरहरूमा सदाको निम्ति आनन्द र खुसीको सोर लिएर सियोनमा आउनेछन् । अनि खुसी र आनन्दले तिनीहरूलाई उछिन्नेछ, र कष्ट र शोक भाग्नेछन् ।
12 "I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;
“तिमीहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिने म नै हुँ । तिमीहरू मानिसहरूसित किन डराउँछौ, मानिसहरूका छोराहरू, जो मर्ने छन्, जसलाई घाँसजस्तै बनाइने छन्?
13 and have forgotten Jehovah your Maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
परमप्रभु आफ्ना सृष्टिकर्तालाई तिमीहरूले किन बिर्सेका छौ, जसले आकाशलाई फिंजाउनुभयो र पृथ्वीका जगहरू बसाल्नुभयो? अत्याचारीले तिमीहरूको नाश गर्ने निधो गर्दा, त्यसको कडा क्रोधको त्रासमा निरन्तर परेका छौ । अत्यचारीको क्रोध कहाँ छ?
14 The captive exile shall speedily be freed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.
जो झुकेका छ, परमप्रभुले मुक्त गर्न हतार गर्नुहुनेछ । ऊ मर्ने र तल खाडलमा जानेछैन, न रोटीको कमी हुनेछ ।
15 For I am Jehovah your God, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar: Jehovah of hosts is his name.
किनकि म परमप्रभु तेरा परमेश्वर हुँ, जसले समुद्रलाई घोल्नुहुन्छ ताकि त्यसको छालहरू गर्जून्— उहाँको नाउँ सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु हो ।
16 I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, 'You are my people.'"
मैले आफ्नो वचन तेरो मुखमा हालेको छु, र आफ्नो हातको छायाले मैले तँलाई ढाकेको छु, ताकि मैले आकाशलाई राख्न सकुँ, पृथ्वीको जगहरू बसाल्न सकुँ र सियोनलाई, 'तिमीहरू मेरा मानिसहरू हौ' भन्न सकुँ ।
17 Awake, awake, stand up, Jerusalem, that have drunk at the hand of Jehovah the cup of his wrath; you have drunk from the bowl, of the cup of staggering, and drained it.
ए यरूशलेम जाग्, जाग्, खडा हो, तिमीहरू जसले परमप्रभुको हातको क्रोधको कचौरा पिएर मातेका छौ । तिमीहरू जसले कचौराबाट पिएका छौ र धरमराउने कचौराबाट रित्तिने गरी पिएका छौ ।
18 There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any who takes her by the hand among all the sons who she has brought up.
त्यसलाई डोर्याउन त्यसले जन्माएका सबै छोराहरूमध्ये कोही पनि छैनन् । हात समातेर त्यसलाई डोर्याउनलाई त्यसले हुर्काएको सबै छोरामध्ये कोही पनि छैनन् ।
19 These two things have happened to you. Who will grieve for you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword. Who will console you?
तँमाथि वियोग र विनाश, अनिकाल र तरवार— यी दुई कष्टहरू आइपरेका छन्— तँसँग कसले शोक गर्नेछ? तँलाई कसले सान्त्वना दिनेछ?
20 Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the wrath of Jehovah, the rebuke of your God.
तेरा छोराहरू मूर्छ परेका छन् । जालमा परेको चित्तलझैं तिनीहरू हरेक गल्लीको कुनाहरूमा ढल्नेछन् । परमप्रभुको क्रोध अर्थात् तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरको हप्कीले तिनीहरू भरिएका छन् ।
21 Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunk, but not with wine:
तर अब यो कुरा सुन्, ए अत्यचारमा परेकाहरू र मत्तिएकाहरू, तर दाखमद्यले मातिएकाहरू होइनन्:
22 Thus says your Lord Jehovah, your God who pleads the cause of his people, "Look, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:
परमप्रभु तेरा परमेश्वर, आफ्ना मानिसहरूका निम्ति बहस गर्नुहुने परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “हेर्, मैले तेरो हातबाट धरमराउने कचौरा— मेरो क्रोधको कचौरा— लिएको छु, ताकि तैंले फेरि त्यो पिउनेछैनस् ।
23 and I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, 'Bow down, that we may walk over you;' and you have laid your back as the ground, and as the street, to those who walk over."
तँलाई सताउनेहरूका हातमा त्यो म राख्नेछु, जसले तँलाई भनेका छन्, 'भुइमा सुत्, ताकि तँमाथि हामी हिंड्नछौं ।' तिनीहरूलाई हिंड्न तैंले आफ्नो ढाडलाई जमिन र बाटोझैं बनाइस् ।”
