< Isaiah 50 >
1 Thus says Jehovah, "Where is the bill of your mother's divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Look, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Aia ty takelam-panarahañe naneseako an-drene’ areo? Ia amo mpampisongo amakoo ty nandetahako anahareo? Toe niletahañe ty amo tahi’ areoo, vaho o fiolà’ areoo ty naneseañe ty rene’ areo.
2 Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can't redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Look, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.
Akore te tsy teo ty ondaty, te izaho nimb’eo? Ie nikaike, tsy teo ty ho nanoiñe? Bory hao ty sirako tsy hahafijebañe? Aa vaho po-kaozarañe hao raho tsy haharombake? Heheke maiheko i riakey te endahako; anoeko ratraratra o sakao; mantiñe o fia’eo kanao tsy an-drano, mate’ ty arandrano.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering."
Sikinako mainte o likerañeo, añombeako gony ho saroñe.
4 Jehovah has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
Fa natolo’ i Talè, Iehovà ahiko ty famele’ o nanàrañeo, hampanintsiñako an-drehake o mondetseo; barakakaofe’e boa-maraiñe tsekafe’e o sofikoo hitsanoñe hoe t’ie mpioke.
5 Jehovah has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.
Fa nisokafe’ i Talè, Iehovà o sofikoo, le tsy nanjehatse, tsy niamboho.
6 I gave my back to those who strike, and my cheeks to those who tore out my beard; I did not cover my face from insults and spitting.
Natoloko amo mpandafao ty lambosiko, naho amo mpañono-boloo ty fifiko; tsy naetako ami’ty ònjitse naho ami’ty rora ty tareheko.
7 But Jehovah will help me; therefore I have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be disappointed.
Hañolotse ahy t’i Talè, Iehovà, aa le tsy nisalatse; nampigañeko hoe vato-paike ty tareheko, le fantako te tsy ho meñatse;
8 He is near who justifies me; who will bring charges against me? Let us stand up together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.
fa marine ao i Mpañatò ahikoy. Ia ty hifañotake amako? Antao songa hiongake; Ia ty rafelahiko? Angao re hitotoke amako.
9 Look, Jehovah will help me; who is he who shall condemn me? Look, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up.
I Talè, Iehovà ro mpañolotse ahy; ia ka ty hamatse ahy? Fonga hihamodo hoe tsirodea; ho vazañem-pizara.
10 Who is among you who fears Jehovah, who listens to the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely on his God.
Ia ama’ areo ty mañeveñe am’ Iehovà, naho mañorike ty feo’ i mpitoro’ey? Aa ndra t’ie mañavelo añ’ieñe ie tsy aman-kazavàñe, le hiatoa’e ty tahina’ Iehovà, vaho hirampia’e t’i Andrianañahare’e.
11 Look, all you who kindle a fire, who adorn yourselves with flaming arrows around yourselves; walk in the light of your fire, and among the flaming arrows that you have kindled. You shall have this of my hand; you shall lie down in sorrow.
O ry mpamiañe afoo, o mpisikiñe vaen-afoo, mandià amo lebaleban’ afo’ areoo, amo vaen’afo niviañe’ areoo. zao ty hizò anahareo an-tañako t’ie handre an-anahelo.
