< Isaiah 19 >

1 The burden of Egypt: "Look, Jehovah rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.
Indro, Jehovah mitaingina rahona miriotra mafy ka mankany Egypta; Ary ny andriamani-tsi-izy any Egypta dia mangorohoro eo anatrehany, ary ny fon’ i Egypta dia ketraka ao anatiny.
2 I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians, and they will fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
Ary hamporisihiko hiady izy samy Egyptiana, ka samy hiady amin’ ny rahalahiny avy sy amin’ ny namany avy izy; Ny tanàna hiady amin’ ny tanàna, ary ny fanjakana amin’ ny fanjakana.
3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst. I will destroy its counsel. They will seek the idols, spirits of the dead, mediums, and spiritists.
Ary ho very hevitra ny Egyptiana; Eny, hofoanako ny saina ataony; Ary hila saina amin’ ny andriamani-tsi-izy sy amin’ ny mpibitsibitsika amin’ ny odiny izy sy amin’ ny manao azy ho tsindrian-javatra ary amin’ ny mpanao sikidy.
4 I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord. A fierce king will rule over them," says Jehovah of hosts.
Ary Egypta dia hatolotro hogiazana amin’ izay fitondrana mafy, ary mpanjaka masiaka no hanjaka aminy, hoy Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro.
5 The waters will fail from the sea, and the river will be wasted and become dry.
Ny rano amin’ ny ranomasina ho tankina, ary ny ony ho ritra ka ho maina;
6 The rivers will become foul. The streams of Egypt will be diminished and dried up. The reeds and flags will wither away.
Ho maimbo ny sampantsampan’ ny ony; Ary ny lahin-dranon’ i Egypta hihena ka ho maina; Ny volotara sy ny zozoro halazo;
7 The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
Ny tany eny amoron’ i Neily sy ny tanimbary rehetra eny amoron’ i Neily samy ho maina sy hanjary vovoka ka tsy ho eo intsony.
8 The fishermen will lament, and all those who fish in the Nile will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will languish.
Dia hitomany ny mpaka hazandrano, ary hisaona ny mpamintana rehetra ao Neily, Ary ho reraka ny mpandatsaka harato amin’ ny rano.
9 Moreover those who work in combed flax, and those who weave white cloth, will be confounded.
Ho very fanantenana izay mandraotra rongony amin’ ny fihogo sy izay manenona hariry.
10 The pillars will be broken in pieces. All those who work for hire will be grieved in soul.
Ny andrin’ ny tany ho torotoro, ary ny mpikarama rehetra halahelo.
11 The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish. The counsel of the wisest counselors of Pharaoh has become stupid. How do you say to Pharaoh, "I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?"
Efa adala mihitsy ny mpanapaka any Zoana; Hevi-poana no avoak’ izay hendry indrindra amin’ ny mpanolotsain’ i Farao; Ahoana no ilazanareo amin’ i Farao hoe: Zanak’ olon-kendry aho sady taranak’ ireo mpanjaka fahagola?
12 Where then are your sages? And let them tell you now; and let them know what Jehovah of hosts has purposed concerning Egypt.
Aiza ary ireo olon-kendrinao ireo? Aoka hanambara aminao izy, ary aoka ho fantany izay nokasain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, hatao amin’ i Egypta.
13 The princes of Zoan have become fools. The princes of Memphis are deceived. They have caused Egypt to go astray, who are the cornerstone of her tribes.
Efa adala ny mpanapaka any Zoana, efa voafitaka ny mpanapaka any Memfisa; Ary efa nampivembena an’ i Egypta ireo fehizoron’ ny fireneny.
14 Jehovah has mixed a spirit of perverseness in the midst of her; and they have caused Egypt to go astray in all of its works, like a drunken man staggers in his vomit.
Jehovah efa nampidina fanahy mampandraingiraingy teo Egypta; ka efa nampivembena azy tamin’ ny asany rehetra ireo, dia tahaka ny olona mamo miraingiraingy sady mandoa.
15 Neither shall there be for Egypt any work, which head or tail, palm branch or rush, may do.
Samy tsy hahatontosa ny asany ny Egyptiana, na ny loha na ny rambo, na ny sampan-drofia na ny zozoro.
16 In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Jehovah of hosts, which he shakes over them.
Amin’ izany andro izany dia ho tahaka ny vehivavy Egypta ka ho toran-kovitra sy ho raiki-tahotra noho ny faninjitr’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, ny tànany, izay ahinjiny hamelezany azy.
17 The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt. Everyone to whom mention is made of it will be afraid, because of the plans of Jehovah of hosts, which he determines against it.
Ary ny tanin’ ny Joda dia ho fahatahoran’ i Egypta, ka na oviana na oviana no misy miresaka izany aminy dia ho raiki-tahotra izy noho ny fikasan’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, izay kasainy ny amin’ ny hamelezana azy.
18 In that day, there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear loyalty to Jehovah of hosts. One will be called the City of the Sun.
Amin’ izany andro izany dia hisy tanana dimy amin’ ny tany Egypta samy hiteny ny fitenin’ i Kanana sy hianiana ho an’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro; Ny anankiray hatao hoe Ira-haresa.
19 In that day, there will be an altar to Jehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Jehovah at its border.
Amin’ izany andro izany dia hisy alitara ho an’ i Jehovah eo amin’ ny tany Egypta sy tsangam-bato eo an-tsisiny ho an’ i Jehovah.
20 It will be for a sign and for a witness to Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a savior and a defender, and he will deliver them.
Ary ho famantarana sy vavolombelona ho an’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, ao amin’ ny tany Egypta izany; Fa hitaraina amin’ i Jehovah noho ny mpampahory izy, ary haniraka mpamonjy sy mpiaro ho ao aminy Izy ka hamonjy azy.
21 Jehovah will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Jehovah in that day. Yes, they will worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make vows to Jehovah, and will perform them.
Ary Jehovah hanao izay hahafantaran’ ny Egyptiana Azy, ary ny Egyptiana kosa hahalala an’ i Jehovah amin’ izany andro izany; Dia hanompo Azy amin’ ny fanatitra alatsa-drà sy amin’ ny fanatitra hohanina izy ka hivoady amin’ i Jehovah sady hanefa ny voadiny.
22 Jehovah will strike Egypt, striking and healing. They will return to Jehovah, and he will listen to their pleas, and will heal them.
Ary Jehovah hamely ny Egyptiana, eny, fa sady hamely Izy no hanasitrana; Dia hiverina ho any amin’ i Jehovah ireo, ka hekeny ny fangatahany, ary hositraniny izy.
23 In that day there will be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
Amin’ izany andro izany dia hisy lalambe avy any Egypta mankany Asyria, koa ny Asyriana dia hankany Egypta, ary ny Egyptiana kosa hankany Asyria, ary ny Egyptiana sy ny Asyriana hiara-mivavaka.
24 In that day, Israel will be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth;
Amin’ izany andro izany ny Isiraely no ho fahatelony amin’ i Egypta sy Asyria ho fitahiana eo amin’ ny tany;
25 because Jehovah of hosts has blessed them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance."
Fa hotahin’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, ireo ka hataony hoe: Hotahina anie Egypta oloko, sy Asyria, asan’ ny tanako, ary Isiraely lovako.
