Isaiah 14
1 For Jehovah will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.
യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനോടു മനസ്സലിഞ്ഞു യിസ്രായേലിനെ വീണ്ടും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു സ്വദേശത്തു അവരെ പാർപ്പിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു യാക്കോബ് ഗൃഹത്തോടു ചേർന്നുകൊള്ളും.
2 The peoples will take them, and bring them to their place. The house of Israel will possess them in Jehovah's land for servants and for handmaids. They will take as captives those whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
ജാതികൾ അവരെ കൂട്ടി അവരുടെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും; യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹം അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ ദേശത്തു ദാസന്മാരായും ദാസിമാരായും അടക്കിക്കൊള്ളും; തങ്ങളെ ബദ്ധന്മാരാക്കിയവരെ അവർ ബദ്ധന്മാരാക്കുകയും തങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചവരെ വാഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.
3 It will happen in the day that Jehovah will give you rest from your sorrow, from your trouble, and from the hard service in which you were made to serve,
യഹോവ നിന്റെ വ്യസനവും നിന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും നീ ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവന്ന നിന്റെ കഠിനദാസ്യവും നീക്കി നിനക്കു വിശ്രാമം നല്കുന്ന നാളിൽ
4 that you will take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, "How the oppressor has ceased. How the attacker has ceased."
നീ ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഈ പാട്ടു ചൊല്ലും: പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ എങ്ങനെ ഇല്ലാതെയായി! സ്വർണ്ണനഗരം എങ്ങനെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോയി!
5 Jehovah has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,
യഹോവ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വടിയും വാഴുന്നവരുടെ ചെങ്കോലും ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
6 who struck the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, who ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained.
വംശങ്ങളെ ഇടവിടാതെ ക്രോധത്തോടെ അടിക്കയും ആർക്കും അടുത്തുകൂടാത്ത ഉപദ്രവത്താൽ ജാതികളെ കോപത്തോടെ ഭരിക്കയും ചെയ്തവനെ തന്നേ.
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet. They break out song.
സർവ്വഭൂമിയും വിശ്രമിച്ചു സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ആർത്തുപാടുന്നു.
8 Yes, the fir trees rejoice with you, with the cedars of Lebanon, saying, "Since you are humbled, no lumberjack has come up against us."
സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കളും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചു: നീ വീണുകിടന്നതുമുതൽ ഒരു വെട്ടുകാരനും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ കയറിവരുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
9 Sheol from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the dead for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
നിന്റെ വരവിങ്കൽ നിന്നെ എതിരേല്പാൻ താഴേ പാതാളം നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഇളകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സകലഭൂപാലന്മാരുമായ പ്രേതന്മാരെ ഉണർത്തുകയും ജാതികളുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരെയും സിംഹാസനങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)
10 They all will answer and ask you, "Have you also become as weak as we are? Have you become like us?"
അവരൊക്കെയും നിന്നോടു: നീയും ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ബലഹീനനായോ? നീയും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തുല്യനായ്തീർന്നുവോ? എന്നു പറയും.
11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are spread out under you, and worms cover you. (Sheol h7585)
നിന്റെ ആഡംബരവും വാദ്യഘോഷവും പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയി; നിന്റെ കീഴെ പുഴുക്കളെ വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; കൃമികൾ നിനക്കു പുതെപ്പായിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)
12 How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn. How you are cut down to the ground, who laid the nations low.
അരുണോദയപുത്രനായ ശുക്രാ, നീ എങ്ങനെ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു വീണു! ജാതികളെ താഴ്ത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞവനേ, നീ എങ്ങനെ വെട്ടേറ്റു നിലത്തു വീണു!
13 You said in your heart, "I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mountain of assembly, in the far north.
“ഞാൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ കയറും; എന്റെ സിംഹാസനം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾക്കു മീതെ വെക്കും; ഉത്തരദിക്കിന്റെ അതൃത്തിയിൽ സമാഗമപർവ്വതത്തിന്മേൽ ഞാൻ ഇരുന്നരുളും;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will make myself like the Most High."
ഞാൻ മേഘോന്നതങ്ങൾക്കു മീതെ കയറും; ഞാൻ അത്യുന്നതനോടു സമനാകും” എന്നല്ലോ നീ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞതു.
എന്നാൽ നീ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു, നാശകൂപത്തിന്റെ അടിയിലേക്കു തന്നേ വീഴും. (Sheol h7585)
16 Those who see you will stare at you. They will ponder you, saying, "Is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms;
നിന്നെ കാണുന്നവർ നിന്നെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കി: ഭൂമിയെ നടുക്കുകയും രാജ്യങ്ങളെ കുലുക്കുകയും
17 who made the world like a wilderness, and overthrew its cities; who did not release his prisoners to their home?"
ഭൂതലത്തെ മരുഭൂമിപോലെ ആക്കുകയും അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളകയും തന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു അഴിച്ചുവിടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തവൻ ഇവനല്ലയോ എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കും.
18 All the kings of the nations lie in splendor, everyone in his own house.
ജാതികളുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ താന്താന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ മഹത്വത്തോടെ കിടന്നുറങ്ങുന്നു.
19 But you are cast away from your tomb like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, who are thrust through with the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit; like a dead body trodden under foot.
നിന്നെയോ നിന്ദ്യമായോരു ചുള്ളിയെപ്പോലെയും വാൾകൊണ്ടു കുത്തേറ്റു മരിച്ചു കുഴിയിലെ കല്ലുകളോളം ഇറങ്ങിയവരെക്കൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവനായി ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ച ശവംപോലെയും നിന്റെ കല്ലറയിൽനിന്നു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
20 You will not join them in burial, because you have destroyed your land. You have killed your people. The offspring of evildoers will not be mentioned forever.
നീ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു, നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു അവരെപ്പോലെ ശവസംസ്കാരം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്തതിയുടെ പേർ എന്നും നിലനില്ക്കയില്ല.
21 Prepare for slaughter of his children because of the iniquity of their fathers, that they not rise up and possess the earth, and fill the surface of the world with cities.
അവന്റെ മക്കൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഒരു കൊലനിലം ഒരുക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ.
22 "I will rise up against them," says Jehovah of hosts, "and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son's son," says Jehovah.
ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു പേരിനെയും ശേഷിപ്പിനെയും പുത്രനെയും പൗത്രനെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
23 "I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water. I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," says Jehovah of hosts.
ഞാൻ അതിനെ മുള്ളൻ പന്നിയുടെ അവകാശവും നീർപ്പൊയ്കകളും ആക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിനെ നാശത്തിന്റെ ചൂലുകൊണ്ടു തൂത്തുവാരും എന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
24 Jehovah of hosts has sworn, saying, "Surely, as I have thought, so shall it happen; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ആണയിട്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു: ഞാൻ വിചാരിച്ചതുപോലെ സംഭവിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചതുപോലെ നിവൃത്തിയാകും.
25 that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and tread him under foot on my mountains. Then his yoke will leave them, and his burden leave their shoulders.
എന്റെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു ഞാൻ അശ്ശൂരിനെ തകർക്കും; എന്റെ പർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു അവനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ നുകം അവരുടെമേൽനിന്നു നീങ്ങും; അവന്റെ ചുമടു അവരുടെ തോളിൽനിന്നു മാറിപ്പോകും.
26 This is the plan that is determined for the whole earth. This is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.
സർവ്വഭൂമിയെയും കുറിച്ചു നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിർണ്ണയം ഇതാകുന്നു; സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേൽ നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന കൈ ഇതു തന്നേ.
27 For Jehovah of hosts has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?"
സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ദുർബ്ബലമാക്കുന്നവനാർ? അവന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു മടക്കുന്നവനാർ?
28 This burden was in the year that king Ahaz died.
ആഹാസ്‌രാജാവു മരിച്ച ആണ്ടിൽ ഈ പ്രവാചകം ഉണ്ടായി:
29 Do not rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, because the rod that struck you is broken; for out of the serpent's root an adder will emerge, and his fruit will be a fiery flying serpent.
സകലഫെലിസ്ത്യ ദേശവുമായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്നെ അടിച്ചവന്റെ വടി ഒടിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; സർപ്പത്തിന്റെ വേരിൽനിന്നു ഒരു അണലി പുറപ്പെടും; അതിന്റെ ഫലം, പറക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിസർപ്പമായിരിക്കും.
30 The firstborn of the poor will eat, and the needy will lie down in safety; and I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant will be killed.
എളിയവരുടെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാർ മേയും; ദരിദ്രന്മാർ നിർഭയമായി കിടക്കും; എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ വേരിനെ ഞാൻ ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കുമാറാക്കും; നിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ അവൻ കൊല്ലും.
31 Howl, gate. Cry, city. You are melted away, Philistia, all of you; for smoke comes out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.
വാതിലേ, അലറുക; പട്ടണമേ നിലവിളിക്ക; സകല ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവുമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ അലിഞ്ഞുപോയി; വടക്കുനിന്നു ഒരു പുകവരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഗണങ്ങളിൽ ഉഴന്നുനടക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ഇല്ല.
32 What then is one to answer the messengers of this nation? That Jehovah has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people will take refuge.
ജാതികളുടെ ദൂതന്മാർക്കു കിട്ടുന്ന മറുപടിയോ: യഹോവ സീയോനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിലെ അരിഷ്ടന്മാർ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നത്രേ.
