< Isaiah 12 >
1 In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to you, Jehovah; for you were angry with me, but your anger has turned away and you comfort me.
And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.
2 Look, in the God of my salvation I will trust, and will not be afraid. For Jehovah is my strength and my and song, and he has become my salvation."
Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation.
You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:
4 In that day you will say, "Give thanks to Jehovah. Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted.
And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.
5 Sing to Jehovah, for he has done excellent things. Let this be known in all the earth.
Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.
6 Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in the midst of you."
Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
