< Hebrews 4 >

1 Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
Ang dymnaak khuina kunnaak awikamnaak ce ang dyih hun awh, nangmih ak khuiawh u a ca awm a mang tlaaknaak aham ngaihta lah uh.
2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard did not profit them, because they were not united by faith with those who heard.
A mingmih ing awithang leek amik khypyi ceni kaimih a venawh awm amik khy law pyi lawt; cehlai awithang leek ce cangnaak ing a maming zaak awh a mingmih aham a phu am awm hy.
3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Ningmih ak cangnaak thlangkhqi ingtaw dymnaak ak khui na ni kun hawh uhy. Khawsa ing, “Awi kam nyng saw kawso doena kqawn nyng, ‘A mingmih ce kang dymnaak awh ityk awh awm am kun kawm uh,” tinawh kqawn hawh hy. Cehlai khawmdek a syn cyk awhkawng a bibinaak taw boeih hawh hy.
4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"
Hun pynoet awh ak Krih nyn ce, Ak Kqih nyn awh a ik-oeih sainaak boeih awhkawng Khawsa taw dym hy,” tinawh kqawn hy.
5 and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."
Cek coeng bai awh ak chei awhkaw awi awh, “A mingmih ce kang dymnaak awh ityk awh awm am dym kawm uh,” tinawh kqawn bai hy.
6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and they to whom the good news was before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,
Thlang pynoet taw cawhkaw dymnaak ak khuiawh a mi kun aham awm hyn hy, cehlai ak cyk awh awithang leek phawng peek na ak awm thlangkhqi ce awi a maming ngai awh am dym uhy.
7 he again appoints a certain day, "Today," saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
Cedawngawh Khawsa ing khawnghi ce hoep pe tlaih hy, tuhngawi tinawh ak khy, ak cyk awh ak kqawn hawh amyihna syn awh David hawnaak ing: “Tuhngawi awh ak awi naming zaak awhtaw, na mik kawlung ce koeh hqam sak voel uh,” tinawh kqawn hy.
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
Joshua ing a mingmih ce dymnaak ama na peek mantaw, khawnghi ak chang akawng ce Khawsa ing am nak kqawn hawh kaw.
9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
Cedawngawh, Sabbath nyn ce Khawsak thlangkhqi dymnaak khawnghi na ana awm poe hy;
10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
kawtih Khawsa dymnaak khuiawh amik kun thlangkhqi boeih taw Khawsa ing a bibinaak awhkawng ang dym lawt amyihna bibinaak awhkawng dym lawt uhy.
11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
Cedawngawh, u awm awi a mang ngai awh ang tlaak kaana dymnaak ak khuina kun thainaak aham tha lo lah u sih.
12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Ikawtih Khawsak awi taw hqing nawh ak tha awm hy. Zawzi hu hai ak h qaat anglakawh h qaat ngai nawh, hqingnaak ingkaw Myihla, quhcawng ingkaw quhhlik dyna pek a bo thai hy; lingbyi poeknaak ingkaw ngaihnaak ce hawi a hel thai hy.
13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Ik-oeih sai boeih boeih ve Khawsa haiawh thuh thai na am awm hy, ni ik-oeih sainaak boeih boeih ak khing ak naikung a haiawh ik-oeih boeih boeih ve hlam qu pheng nawh huh thai boeih na awm hy.
14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.
Khawk khan na ak cet khawsoeih boei ak sang soeih, Khawsa Capa Jesu Khrih ce ni taak hawh awh cangnaak ni taak ve ak cak na tu khak lah u sih.
15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
Ningmih nik tha ama awmnaak awh qeennaak amak ta thai khawsoeih boeikhyt amni, ningnih amih lawtna sykzoeknaak soepkep ak hu, cehlai thawlhnaak amak ta ceni ni taak uh.
16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Cedawngawh qeennaak ce ni hu nawh ningnih a ngoenaak awh bawmnaak ce ni huh thainaak aham am qeennaak ngawihdoelh ben ce ngaikhyknaak kawlung ing zoe lah u sih.
