Esther 10

1 King Achashyerosh laid a tribute on the land, and on the islands of the sea.

Şi împăratul Ahaşveroş a aşezat un tribut asupra ţării şi asupra insulelor mării.

2 All the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

Şi toate faptele puterii lui, şi ale tăriei lui, şi declaraţia măreţiei lui Mardoheu, la care l-a avansat împăratul, nu sunt scrise ele în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor Mediei şi ai Persiei?

3 For Mordecai the Jew was next to King Achashyerosh, and great among the Jews, and accepted by the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people, and speaking peace to all his descendants.

Căci Mardoheu, iudeul, a fost primul după împăratul Ahaşveroş, şi mare printre iudei, şi primit de mulţimea fraţilor săi, căutând bunăstarea poporului său, şi vorbind pace către toată sămânţa sa.
