< Deuteronomy 30 >

1 It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Jehovah your God has driven you,
Emikisa n’ebikolimo ebyo byonna bye nkutegeezezza, bwe binaakutuukangako n’ojjukiranga ng’oli eyo mu nsi ezo zonna Mukama Katonda wo gy’anaabanga akusaasaanyizza,
2 and shall return to Jehovah your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;
n’okyuka n’odda eri Mukama Katonda wo, n’omugonderanga, n’abaana bo bonna, n’omutima gwo gwonna, n’emmeeme yo yonna, nga bwe nkulagira leero,
3 that then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where Jehovah your God has scattered you.
kale Mukama Katonda wo anaakusaasiranga n’akuzza mu mbeera yo ennungi eneekweyagazanga, ng’akuwumbyewumbye okukuggya eyo gy’anaabanga akusaasaanyirizza.
4 If any of you are driven out to the farthest horizon, from there will Jehovah your God gather you, and from there he will bring you back:
Newaakubadde onoobanga owaŋŋangusiriddwa mu nsi esinga okubeera ey’ewala ennyo wansi w’eggulu, Mukama Katonda wo anaakukuŋŋaanyangayo, n’akuggyayo n’akukomyawo.
5 and Jehovah your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.
Mukama Katonda wo anaakukomyangawo mu nsi bajjajjaabo gye baafuna, naawe onoogifunanga. Alikugaggawaza era n’akwaza nnyo okukira bajjajjaabo.
6 Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your descendants, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.
Mukama Katonda wo alikomola omutima gwo, n’omutima gwa bazzukulu bo, bw’otyo oyagalanga Mukama Katonda wo n’omutima gwo gwonna, n’emmeeme yo yonna, olyoke obeerenga omulamu.
7 Jehovah your God will put all these curses on your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
Mukama Katonda wo aliteeka ebikolimo ebyo byonna ku balabe bo ne ku abo abanaakuyigganyanga.
8 You shall return and obey the voice of Jehovah, and do all his commandments which I command you this day.
Bw’otyo n’oddamu okugonderanga Mukama Katonda ng’okwata amateeka ge, ge nkulagira leero.
9 Jehovah your God will make you plenteous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb, and in the fruit of your ground, and in the fruit of your livestock, for Jehovah will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers;
Bw’atyo Mukama Katonda wo alikugaggawaza mu buli kintu kyonna ky’onookolanga, mu bibala eby’omubiri gwo, ne mu bibala eby’ebisolo byo, ne mu bibala eby’ettaka lyo. Mukama alisanyuka nnyo okukugaggawazanga n’obeeranga bulungi, nga bwe kyamusanyusanga okugaggawazanga bajjajjaabo,
10 if you shall obey the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if you turn to Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul.
ng’ogondeddenga Mukama Katonda wo, n’okwatanga amateeka ge n’ebiragiro bye ebiwandiikiddwa mu Kitabo eky’Amateeka kino, n’odda eri Mukama Katonda wo n’omukyukiranga n’omutima gwo gwonna, n’emmeeme yo yonna.
11 For this commandment which I command you this day is not too difficult for you, nor is it far off.
Etteeka lye nkulagira leero terisaana kukukaluubirira, kubanga terikuli wala nnyo.
12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who will go up into heaven for us, and get it for us, and proclaim it to us, that we may obey it?"
Teriri mu ggulu, n’okugamba ne kikugambisa nti, “Ani anaatulinnyirayo mu ggulu n’atulireeterayo tulyoke tuliwulire tuligonderenga?”
13 And it is not in the deep of the sea, that you should say, "Who will go down into the deep of the sea for us, and get it for us, and proclaim it to us, so that we may obey it?"
So teriri mitala wa nnyanja, olyoke ogambe nti, “Ani anaatusomokera ennyanja, alituleetere tuwulire bye ligamba, tuligondere?”
14 But the word is very near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart and in your hand, so that you can do it.
Nedda, ekigambo kiri kumpi ddala ne w’oli, kiri mu kamwa ko ne mu mutima gwo, olyoke okigondere.
15 Look, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil.
Kale laba, olwa leero ntadde mu maaso go obulamu n’okufa.
16 If you obey the commandments of Jehovah your God that I command you this day to love Jehovah your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, then you will live and multiply, and Jehovah your God will bless you in the land where you are going to possess it.
Kubanga nkulagira leero okwagalanga Mukama Katonda wo, okutambuliranga mu makubo ge, awamu n’okukwatanga amateeka ge n’okugobereranga ebiragiro bye byonna. Bw’onookolanga bw’otyo ojjanga kuba mulamu era oyale, ne Mukama Katonda wo anaakuwanga omukisa ng’oli mu nsi gy’oyingira okugifuna.
17 But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
Naye omutima gwo bwe gunaakyamanga n’otowulira, era bw’onoosendebwasendebwanga okusinzanga bakatonda abalala n’okubaweerezanga,
18 I declare to you this day that you will certainly perish; you will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
mbalangirira leero nti, Mugenda kuzikirizibwa; era temuliwangaala mu nsi gy’ogenda okusomokera omugga Yoludaani okugiyingira okugifuna.
19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants;
Ku lunaku lwa leero nkoowoola eggulu n’ensi nga be bajulirwa bange, ku mmwe, abategedde nga ntadde mu maaso gammwe, obulamu n’okufa; n’emikisa n’ebikolimo. Kale nno londawo obulamu, olyoke obeerenga mulamu, ggwe n’ezzadde lyo:
20 to love Jehovah your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."
ng’oyagalanga Mukama Katonda wo, ng’owuliranga eddoboozi lye, era nga weekwatira ddala ku ye. Kubanga Mukama bwe bulamu bwo n’okuwangaala; alyoke akuwenga emyaka mingi mu nsi Mukama gye yalayirira okugiwa bajjajjaabo: Ibulayimu, ne Isaaka, ne Yakobo.
