Deuteronomy 11
1 Therefore you shall love Jehovah your God, and keep his instructions, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and his commandments, always.
೧ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಆತನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು, ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು.
2 Know this day: for I do not speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Jehovah your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,
೨ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನೂ, ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಭುಜಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಹಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಅಂದರೆ,
3 and his signs, and his works, which he did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;
೩ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸಿದ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ,
4 and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Jehovah has destroyed them to this day;
೪ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಸೈನ್ಯ ಅಂದರೆ, ಅವರ ರಥಾಶ್ವಬಲಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ,
5 and what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place;
೫ನೀವು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವ ತನಕ ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಕಾರಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ,
6 and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the midst of all Israel:
೬ರೂಬೇನನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಆದ ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ಅವರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ನಡುವೆ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
7 but your eyes have seen all the great work of Jehovah which he did.
೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಡಿಸಿದ ಆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದವರಾದ ನಿಮಗೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
8 Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and multiply, and go in and possess the land, where you go over to possess it;
೮ಆದುದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಈ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನೀವು ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಈ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಆಚೆಯಿರುವ
9 and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
೯ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಬದುಕುವಿರಿ. ಅದು ಹಾಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶ.
10 For the land, where you go in to possess it, isn't as the land of Egypt, that you came out from, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your feet, as a garden of herbs;
೧೦ನೀವು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶವು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಹೊಲಗದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಯಿಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏತವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ನೀರು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ.
11 but the land, where you go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water of the rain of the sky,
೧೧ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶವೋ ಹಳ್ಳದಿಣ್ಣೆಗಳ ದೇಶ; ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮಳೆಬಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
12 a land which Jehovah your God cares for: the eyes of Jehovah your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
೧೨ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸುವ ದೇಶ; ವರ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕೊನೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
13 It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love Jehovah your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
೧೩ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದರೆ,
14 that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your new wine, and your oil.
೧೪ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೋದಿ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಎಣ್ಣೇಕಾಯಿ ಇವುಗಳ ಬೆಳೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವನು.
15 I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.
೧೫ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದನಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು; ನೀವು ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ.
16 Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
೧೬ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಎಚ್ಚರದಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಮರುಳುಗೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಇತರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿದರೆ,
17 and the anger of Jehovah be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky, so that there shall be no rain, and the land shall not yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Jehovah gives you.
೧೭ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು ಮಳೆಬಾರದಂತೆ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾನು; ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಾಗದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಉತ್ತಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಉಳಿಯದೆ ಬೇಗ ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ.
18 Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes.
೧೮ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಈ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಣೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಂತಿರಬೇಕು.
19 You shall teach them your children, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
೧೯ನೀವು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೂ, ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೂ, ಮಲಗುವಾಗಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಏಳುವಾಗಲೂ ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
20 You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates;
೨೦ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ನಿಲುವುಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು.
21 that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
೨೧ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಇರುವುದೋ, ಅಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀವೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳುವಿರಿ.
22 For if you shall diligently keep all this commandment which I command you to do, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him;
೨೨ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಈ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀವು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತನು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆದು, ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕು.
23 then will Jehovah drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.
೨೩ಆಗ ಆತನು ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವನು. ನಿಮಗಿಂತಲೂ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Perath, even to the western sea shall be your border.
೨೪ನೀವು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮದಾಗುವವು. ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಲೆಬನೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದ ವರೆಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಸಮುದ್ರದವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೀಮೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುವುದು.
25 No man shall be able to stand before you: Jehovah your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread on, as he has spoken to you.
೨೫ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನೀವು ಕಾಲಿಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಜನಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ದಿಗಿಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮಾಡುವನು.
26 Look, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
೨೬ಇಗೋ ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಾನು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
27 the blessing, if you shall listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I command you this day;
೨೭ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ,
28 and the curse, if you shall not listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.
೨೮ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ, ನಾನು ಈಗ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ ಇತರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿದರೆ ಶಾಪವೂ ನಿಮಗುಂಟಾಗುವವು.
29 It shall happen, when Jehovah your God shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal.
೨೯ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ನೀವು ಗೆರಿಜ್ಜೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕು.
30 Aren't they beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the Arabah, over against Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?
೩೦ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆ, ಪಡುವಣ ದಾರಿಯ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಅರಾಬಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಮೋರೆ ಎಂಬ ವೃಕ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ.
31 For you are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which Jehovah your God gives you, and you shall possess it, and dwell in it.
೩೧ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವಾಗ
32 You shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.
೩೨ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯಲೇಬೇಕು.
