Colossians 3
1 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Vinu handa mzyuka pamuhera na Kristu, muliholi ga kumpindi, kulii Kristu kwakawera, aku kankulivaga pahala pa wega wa uwezu wa Mlungu.
2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
Muliholeli vitwatira vya kumpindi, na vitwatira ndiri vyaviweri panu pasipanu.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Toziya mwenga muhowa na ukomu wenu ufifwa pamuhera na Kristu mngati mwa Mlungu.
4 When Christ, your life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.
Ukomu wenu ndo Kristu, na pakalawira, na mwenga viraa hamlawili pamuhera nayomberi muukwisa wakuwi.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever is worldly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Hangu mshilagi kila shintu shikondola shashiwera mngati mwenu, uhumba na uhakata na lumatamata ludoda na shamata na maholu madoda aga galifana na kuguwira shinyagu.
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming on the children of disobedience.
Toziya ya vitwatira avi maya ga Mlungu gawizira woseri yawamjimira ndiri.
7 You also once walked in those, when you lived in them;
Makashu maweni mwenga mlikaliti hangu, patukolitwi mlima na yomberi.
8 but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.
Kumbiti vinu mgaleki goseri aga, maya na shamata, na ukondola, kuhigilanga, na visoweru vidoda navilawa mumilomu mwenu.
9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices,
Namlipayira, toziya mwenga mvula kala uwuntu ugona, pamuhera na makondola gakuwi goseri,
10 and have put on the new self, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
mvala uwuntu wa syayi. Uwuntu awu wendereya kutendwa hweri na Mlungu, yakauwumbiti su tulifani nayomberi.
11 where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.
Muntambu ayi, kwahera ntambu ya gweka kwa Mgiriki na Muyawudi, yakingiziwitwi jandu na yakingiziwitwi ndiri jandu, muhenga na mweni kaya, mmanda na muntu mlekeru. Kumbiti Kristu ndo kila shintu, na kamuvyoseri.
12 Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, gentleness, humility, and patience;
Mwenga mwawantu wakuwi Mlungu, yomberi kawafiriti na kawasyagula, vinu muweri na moyu gwa lusungu na uheri na unanaga, na upoli na uhepelera.
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as the Lord forgave you, so you also do.
Mhepelerani na kulekiziyana vidoda, handa muntu kana toziya ya kumlawumu myaguwi. Mlekiziyani vidoda handa Mtuwa ntambu yakawalekiziyani mwenga.
14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
Kwa goseri aga ganongoleriti kulonga, muwongeri mafiliru, toziya mafiliru ganamataziya vintu vyoseri muwumu wawuwera mkamilika.
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Na ponga ya Kristu iyingira mumioyu mwenu, toziya ya aga mwenga mshemitwi munshimba yimu ayi. Kayi mlongi mayagashii!
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to God.
Ujumbi wa Kristu ulikali mngati mwenu. Pamuhera na ulunda wakuwi woseri. Mulifundi na kalitakuziana kwa luhala loseri, mwimbi zaburi, na nyimbu za shirohu, mumwimbili Mlungu mumioyu kwa kulonga mayagashii.
17 Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.
Na shoseri shamtenda ama shamtakula, mshitendi kwa litawu lya Mtuwa Yesu na kulonga mayagashii Mlungu Tati kupitira yomberi.
18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Mwenga wadala, muwapikaniri wapalu wenu, ntambu yaimuherepeziya Mtuwa.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them.
Namwenga wapalu muwafiri wadala wenu, namuwera wakalipa kwa womberi.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.
Namwenga mwananguta, muwapikaniri walera wenu mugoseri, toziya shitwatira ashi shimfirizia Mtuwa.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged.
Namwenga ashina tati namwasoziya wananguta wenu, nawiza kuwuya kumbeli.
22 Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as people-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord.
Namwenga wamanda muwapikaniri muvyoseri walii watuwa wa pasipanu pawawaloreni ndiri gweka yakuwi toziya mfira kuwoneka waherepa, kumbiti mtendi hangu kwa moyu guherepa, toziya ya kumguwira Mtuwa.
23 And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for people,
Shoseri shamtenda, mtendi kwa moyu goseri, toziya mumtendera Mtuwa, mumtendera ndiri muntu.
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Muliholi Mtuwa hakawapanani lifupu lwa uhala lyakawatuliliti wantu wakuwi. Mumtenderi Kristu Mtuwa!
25 But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.
Toziya kila muntu yakatenda vidoda hakanki shibena mgongu sha ukondola wakuwi wala kwahera kubagula.
