Amos 6
1 Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who are secure on the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the foremost of nations, to whom the house of Israel come.
Люте уничижающым Сиона и уповающым на гору Самарийскую: оымаша начатки языков, и внидоша к ним дом Израилев.
2 Go to Calneh, and see; and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than these kingdoms? or is their border greater than your border?
Мимоидите Халану вси и видите, и прейдите оттуду во Емаф великий и снидите оттуду в Геф иноплеменников, крепчайшыя от всех царств сих, аще болши суть пределы их предел ваших?
3 Those who put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
Приходящии в день зол, приближающиися и прикасающиися субботам лживым,
4 Who lie on beds of ivory, and stretch themselves on their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;
спящии на одрех от костей слоновых и ласкосердствующии на постелех своих, ядущии козлища от паств и телцы млеком питаемы от среды стад:
5 who strum on the strings of a harp; who invent for themselves instruments of music, like David;
плещущии ко гласу пищалей, аки стояща мнеша, а не яко бежаща:
6 who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the best oils; but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
пиющии процеженое вино и первыми вонями мажущиися, и не страдаху ничесоже в сокрушении Иосифове.
7 Therefore they will now go captive with the first who go captive; and the feasting and lounging will end.
Сего ради ныне пленницы будут от начала сильных, и отимется ржание конско от Ефрема.
8 "Jehovah has sworn by himself," says Jehovah, the God of hosts: "I abhor the pride of Jacob, and detest his fortresses. Therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it.
Яко клятся Господь Собою, глаголет Господь Бог Сил: понеже гнушаюся аз всею укоризною Иакова и села его возненавидех, и отвергу град со всеми живущими в нем.
9 And it will be, if there remain ten men in one house, they will die, and the remaining ones will be left.
И будет, аще останутся десять мужей во единем дому, умрут, и останутся остаточнии:
10 "When a man's relative carries him, even he who burns him, to bring bodies out of the house, and asks him who is in the innermost parts of the house, 'Is there yet any with you?' And he says, 'No;' then he will say, 'Hush. Indeed we must not mention the name of Jehovah.'
и возмут свои их, и понудятся изнести кости их из дому. И речет настоятелем дому: еще ли есть у тебе? И речет: несть еще. И речет: молчи, не именования ради имене Господня.
11 "For, look, Jehovah commands, and the great house will be smashed to pieces, and the little house into bits.
Понеже, се, Господь заповедает и побиет дом великий толчением и дом малый разседением.
12 Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow there with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness;
Аще поженут в камениях кони? И аще умолкнут в женстем полу? Яко обратисте на гнев суд, и плод правды на горесть,
13 you who rejoice in Lo Debar, who say, 'Haven't we taken for ourselves Karnaim by our own strength?'
веселящиися ни о единем слове блазе, глаголющии: не крепостию ли нашею имамы роги?
14 For, look, I will raise up against you a nation, house of Israel," says Jehovah, the God of hosts; "and they will afflict you from Lebo Hamath to the Wadi Arabah."
Темже, се, Аз воздвигну на вы, доме Израилев, язык, глаголет Господь Бог Сил, и сокрушат вас еже не внити во Емаф и до водотечи западов.
