< Acts 13 >

1 Now in the church that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Ban den taani ki jaandi O Diedo ki luo buñoabu U Tienu Fuoma Yua den yedi: Gagidi mani n po Banabasa leni Solo ke ban yaa tuuni min yini ba yaa tuonli po.

4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia. From there they sailed to Cyprus.

9 But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him,
Lane Solo Ban go yi yua Polo, yuan gbie leni U Tienu Fuomi Yua, den noali o

11 Now, look, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind, unable to see the sun for a time." Immediately a mist and darkness fell on him. He went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.
Moala o Diedo baa pua ŋa ŋan tua juamo ki kan la u yienu hali danaba. Lanyugunu liga Elimasa nuni den biigi ke o juani cain. O ji den baaliti ki lingi yua n baa dadi o.

13 Now Paul and his company set sail from Paphos, and came to Perga in Pamphylia, and John departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.

29 When they had fulfilled all things that were written about him, they took him down from the tree, and placed him in a tomb.

30 But God raised him from the dead,

32 We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,
Tinba tiba wangi yi laa laabaalihamo. U Tienu n den niani ti yajanba ya ñoanianu,
33 that God has fulfilled for us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second psalm, 'You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.'
Li diani pisoma tili nni diani lie kani ya maama n tie na: A tie n Bijua, Mini n mali a dinla.
34 "Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: 'I will give to you the faithful sacred things of David.'
O den fiini Jesu bi tinkpiba siiga ke O kan go bedi hali abada. O den maadi lani yaapo yo wan den yedi: N ba pa yi min den niani Dafidi yaa sela, yaa n gagidi ki hani, ki kan gbali tienma.
35 Therefore he says also in another psalm, 'You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.'
Lani yaapo O go yedi kaanto: A kan tuo ke A nigagidihamo n bedi,
36 For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was placed with his fathers, and saw decay.

37 But he whom God raised up saw no decay.
Ama U Tienu n deni fiini yua bi tinkpiba siiga yeni, waa bedi.
38 Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you forgiveness of sins,
Lanwani n kpiiba, yin bandi cain ke li tie wani Jesu ya po ke bi wangi yi ti tuonbiadi sugili maama. Musa balimaama naa den fidi ki teni ke yi ba li moamoansaali. Ama kelima Jesu ya po,

40 So beware, lest what is said in the Prophets should come about:
41 'Look, you scoffers, and be amazed, and perish; for I am working a work in your days, a work which you will not believe, if one tells it to you.'"

43 Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

46 Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, "It was necessary that God's word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, look, we turn to the non-Jewish people.
47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, 'I have set you as a light to the nations, that you may bring salvation to the farthest part of the earth.'"
48 As the non-Jewish people heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord. As many as were appointed to everlasting life believed.
49 The Lord's word was spread abroad throughout all the region.
o Diedo maama den yayadi laa diema nni kuli.
50 But the Jews stirred up the devout women of prominence and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their borders.

52 The disciples were filled with joy with the Holy Spirit.
