< 2 Kings 24 >

1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
Nígbà ìjọba Jehoiakimu, Nebukadnessari ọba Babeli gbógun sí ilẹ̀ náà, Jehoiakimu sì di ẹrú rẹ̀ fún ọdún mẹ́ta. Ṣùgbọ́n nígbà náà ó yí ọkàn rẹ̀ padà ó sì ṣọ̀tẹ̀ sí Nebukadnessari.
2 Jehovah sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Arameans, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
Olúwa sì rán àwọn ará Babeli, àwọn ará Aramu, àwọn ará Moabu àti àwọn ọmọ Ammoni. Ó rán wọn láti pa Juda run, ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tí ó ti sọ nípasẹ̀ àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ wòlíì.
3 Surely at the commandment of Jehovah this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,

7 The king of Egypt did not come again out of his land any more; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the Wadi of Egypt to the river Perath, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.

20 For through the anger of Jehovah, it happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
