2 Corinthians 13
1 This is the third time I am coming to you. "At the mouth of two or three witnesses will every word be established."
Esta es la tercera vez que vengo a ustedes. De la boca de dos o tres testigos, cada palabra tendrá que decidirse.
2 I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, to those who have sinned before now, and to all the rest, that, if I come again, I will not spare;
He dicho antes, y todavía lo digo antes de venir, como estar presente por segunda vez, aunque todavía estoy lejos de ustedes, a los que han pecado antes, y a todos, no les tendré consideración;
3 seeing that you seek a proof of Christ who speaks in me; who toward you is not weak, but is powerful in you.
Al ver que estás buscando una señal de Cristo de que habla por mí; quien no es débil en relación con usted, pero es poderoso en ustedes:
4 For indeed he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.
porque fue crucificado en debilidad, pero está viviendo por el poder de Dios. Y somos débiles en él, pero viviremos con él a través del poder de Dios para servirles a ustedes.
5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or do you not know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
Haz una prueba de ustedes mismos, si están en la fe; asegúrense de ustedes mismos ¿O no están conscientes de que Jesucristo está en ustedes, si son verdaderamente de Cristo?
6 But I hope that you will know that we are not disqualified.
Pero espero que no tengan dudas de que somos verdaderamente de Cristo.
7 Now we pray to God that you do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that you may do that which is honorable, though we are as reprobate.
Ahora nuestra oración a Dios es que no hagan mal alguno; no para que pueda ser acreditado a nosotros, sino para que ustedes hagan lo correcto, sea lo que sea que parezcamos.
8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
Porque no podemos hacer nada en contra de lo que es verdadero, sino solo por la verdad.
9 For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. And this we also pray for, even your perfecting.
Porque nos alegramos cuando somos débiles y ustedes fuertes; y esta es nuestra oración, incluso para que sean perfeccionados.
10 For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for tearing down.
Por esta razón escribo estas cosas mientras estoy ausente, de modo que pueda haber necesidad de que, cuando esté presente, haga uso de medidas severas, por la autoridad que el Señor me ha dado para edificar y no para destrucción.
11 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Que esta sea mi última palabra, hermanos; estén contento; sean perfeccionados; Sean de buen consuelo, sean de la misma mente; estén en paz el uno con el otro; y el Dios de amor y paz estará con ustedes.
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.
Dense unos a otros un beso santo.
13 All the saints greet you.
Todos los santos los saludan.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y el amor de Dios, y la comunión el Espíritu Santo estén con todos ustedes.
