2 Chronicles 31
1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherim, and broke down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
Now quando tudo isso terminou, todo Israel que estava presente foi para as cidades de Judá e quebrou os pilares, cortou os postes de Asherah e derrubou os altos e altares de todo Judá e Benjamim, também em Efraim e Manassés, até destruí-los a todos. Então todos os filhos de Israel voltaram, cada homem em sua posse, para suas próprias cidades.
2 Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of Jehovah.
Hezekiah nomeou as divisões dos sacerdotes e levitas após suas divisões, cada homem de acordo com seu serviço, tanto os sacerdotes como os levitas, para as ofertas queimadas e para as ofertas de paz, para ministrar, agradecer e elogiar nos portões do acampamento de Yahweh.
3 He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of Jehovah.
Ele também designou a porção do rei de seus bens para os holocaustos: para os holocaustos da manhã e da noite, e os holocaustos para os sábados, para as luas novas, e para as festas fixas, como está escrito na lei de Yahweh.
4 Moreover he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the law of Jehovah.
Moreover ele ordenou ao povo que vivia em Jerusalém que desse a porção dos sacerdotes e dos levitas, para que eles se entregassem à lei de Iavé.
5 As soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel gave in abundance the first fruits of grain, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
Assim que o mandamento saiu, os filhos de Israel deram em abundância as primeiras frutas de grãos, vinho novo, azeite, mel e de todo o aumento do campo; e trouxeram o dízimo de todas as coisas em abundância.
6 The children of Israel and Judah, who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of cattle and sheep, and the tithe of dedicated things which were consecrated to Jehovah their God, and laid them by heaps.
Os filhos de Israel e Judá, que viviam nas cidades de Judá, também trouxeram o dízimo de gado bovino e ovino, e o dízimo de coisas dedicadas que foram consagradas a Javé seu Deus, e os colocaram em montões.
7 In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
No terceiro mês, eles começaram a lançar os alicerces das pilhas, e as terminaram no sétimo mês.
8 And when Hezekiah and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed Jehovah, and his people Israel.
Quando Ezequias e os príncipes vieram e viram os montões, abençoaram Yahweh e seu povo Israel.
9 Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
Então Ezequias interrogou os sacerdotes e os levitas sobre os montões.
10 Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, "Since people began to bring the offerings into the house of Jehovah, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty: for Jehovah has blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store."
Azarias, o sacerdote principal, da casa de Zadoque, respondeu-lhe e disse: “Desde que o povo começou a trazer as ofertas para a casa de Iavé, nós comemos e comemos o suficiente e sobrou muito, pois Iavé abençoou seu povo; e o que sobrou é esta grande loja”.
11 Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare rooms in the house of Jehovah; and they prepared them.
Então Hezekiah ordenou-lhes que preparassem quartos na casa de Yahweh, e eles os prepararam.
12 They brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: and over them Conaniah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second.
Eles trouxeram as ofertas, os dízimos e as coisas dedicadas fielmente. Conaniah, o levita, era o governante sobre eles, e Shimei, seu irmão, era o segundo.
13 Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismakiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of God's house.
Jeiel, Azazias, Naate, Asael, Jerimote, Jozabade, Eliel, Ismaquias, Mahath e Benaia foram supervisores sob a mão de Conanias e Shimei, seu irmão, por nomeação de Ezequias, o rei, e Azarias, o governante da casa de Deus.
14 Kore the son of Jimnah the Levite, the keeper of the east gate, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the offerings of Jehovah, and the most holy things.
Kore, o filho de Imnah, o levita, o porteiro no portão leste, estava sobre as ofertas de livre vontade de Deus, para distribuir as ofertas de Javé e as coisas mais sagradas.
15 Under him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, alongside the priests, to faithfully make disbursements to their brothers by divisions, as well to the great as to the small:
Sob ele estavam Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah e Shecaniah, nas cidades dos sacerdotes, em seu escritório de confiança, para dar a seus irmãos por divisões, tanto aos grandes como aos pequenos;
16 besides those who were reckoned by genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even everyone who entered into the house of Jehovah, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their offices according to their divisions.
além daqueles que foram listados por genealogia dos homens, a partir dos três anos de idade, até mesmo todos que entraram na casa de Iavé, como o dever de cada dia exigido, para seu serviço em seus escritórios de acordo com suas divisões;
17 This is the enrollment of the priests by their fathers' houses, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their offices by their divisions;
e aqueles que foram listados por genealogia dos sacerdotes pelas casas de seus pais, e os Levitas a partir dos vinte anos, em seus escritórios pelas divisões;
18 and those who were reckoned by genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their office of trust they sanctified themselves in holiness.
e aqueles que foram listados por genealogia de todos os seus pequenos, suas esposas, seus filhos e suas filhas, através de toda a congregação; pois em seu escritório de confiança eles se santificaram em santidade.
19 Also for the descendants of Aaron the priests, who were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every city, there were men who were mentioned by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all who were reckoned by genealogy among the Levites.
Também para os filhos de Aarão, os sacerdotes, que estavam nos campos das pastagens de suas cidades, em cada cidade, havia homens que foram mencionados pelo nome para dar porções a todos os homens entre os sacerdotes e a todos que foram listados por genealogia entre os levitas.
20 Hezekiah did so throughout all Judah; and he worked that which was good and right and faithful before Jehovah his God.
Hezekiah o fez em todo o Judá; e fez o que era bom, correto e fiel diante de Javé seu Deus.
21 In every work that he began in the service of God's house, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
Em cada obra que ele começou no serviço da casa de Deus, na lei e nos mandamentos, para buscar seu Deus, ele o fez com todo o seu coração e prosperou.
