1 Thessalonians 2
1 For you yourselves know, brothers, our visit to you was not in vain,
ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଯୁଷ୍ମନ୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ଽସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରୱେଶୋ ନିଷ୍ଫଲୋ ନ ଜାତ ଇତି ଯୂଯଂ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ଜାନୀଥ|
2 but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we grew bold in our God to tell you the Good News of God in much conflict.
ଅପରଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭି ର୍ୟଥାଶ୍ରାୱି ତଥା ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଫିଲିପୀନଗରେ କ୍ଲିଷ୍ଟା ନିନ୍ଦିତାଶ୍ଚ ସନ୍ତୋଽପି ୱଯମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାଦ୍ ଉତ୍ସାହଂ ଲବ୍ଧ୍ୱା ବହୁଯତ୍ନେନ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସୁସଂୱାଦମ୍ ଅବୋଧଯାମ|
3 For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.
ଯତୋଽସ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆଦେଶୋ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତେରଶୁଚିଭାୱାଦ୍ ୱୋତ୍ପନ୍ନଃ ପ୍ରୱଞ୍ଚନାଯୁକ୍ତୋ ୱା ନ ଭୱତି|
4 But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing people, but God, who tests our hearts.
କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରେଣାସ୍ମାନ୍ ପରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ୱିଶ୍ୱସନୀଯାନ୍ ମତ୍ତ୍ୱା ଚ ଯଦ୍ୱତ୍ ସୁସଂୱାଦୋଽସ୍ମାସୁ ସମାର୍ପ୍ୟତ ତଦ୍ୱଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ମାନୱେଭ୍ୟୋ ନ ରୁରୋଚିଷମାଣାଃ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱସ୍ମଦନ୍ତଃକରଣାନାଂ ପରୀକ୍ଷକାଯେଶ୍ୱରାଯ ରୁରୋଚିଷମାଣା ଭାଷାମହେ|
5 For neither were we at any time found using words of flattery, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed (God is witness),
ୱଯଂ କଦାପି ସ୍ତୁତିୱାଦିନୋ ନାଭୱାମେତି ଯୂଯଂ ଜାନୀଥ କଦାପି ଛଲୱସ୍ତ୍ରେଣ ଲୋଭଂ ନାଚ୍ଛାଦଯାମେତ୍ୟସ୍ମିନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ୱିଦ୍ୟତେ|
6 nor seeking glory from people (neither from you nor from others), when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.
ୱଯଂ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେରିତା ଇୱ ଗୌରୱାନ୍ୱିତା ଭୱିତୁମ୍ ଅଶକ୍ଷ୍ୟାମ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୁଷ୍ମତ୍ତଃ ପରସ୍ମାଦ୍ ୱା କସ୍ମାଦପି ମାନୱାଦ୍ ଗୌରୱଂ ନ ଲିପ୍ସମାନା ଯୁଷ୍ମନ୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ମୃଦୁଭାୱା ଭୂତ୍ୱାୱର୍ତ୍ତାମହି|
7 But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother cherishes her own children.
ଯଥା କାଚିନ୍ମାତା ସ୍ୱକୀଯଶିଶୂନ୍ ପାଲଯତି ତଥା ୱଯମପି ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ କାଙ୍କ୍ଷମାଣା
8 Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.
ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ କେୱଲମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ତନ୍ନହି କିନ୍ତୁ ସ୍ୱକୀଯପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ ଅପି ଦାତୁଂ ମନୋଭିରଭ୍ୟଲଷାମ, ଯତୋ ଯୂଯମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ସ୍ନେହପାତ୍ରାଣ୍ୟଭୱତ|
9 For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.
ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ଶ୍ରମଃ କ୍ଲେଶଶ୍ଚ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିଃ ସ୍ମର୍ୟ୍ୟତେ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କୋଽପି ଯଦ୍ ଭାରଗ୍ରସ୍ତୋ ନ ଭୱେତ୍ ତଦର୍ଥଂ ୱଯଂ ଦିୱାନିଶଂ ପରିଶ୍ରାମ୍ୟନ୍ତୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମନ୍ମଧ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସୁସଂୱାଦମଘୋଷଯାମ|
10 You are witnesses with God, how holy, righteously, and blamelessly we behaved ourselves toward you who believe.
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସିନୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି ୱଯଂ କୀଦୃକ୍ ପୱିତ୍ରତ୍ୱଯଥାର୍ଥତ୍ୱନିର୍ଦୋଷତ୍ୱାଚାରିଣୋଽଭୱାମେତ୍ୟସ୍ମିନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ଯୂଯଞ୍ଚ ସାକ୍ଷିଣ ଆଧ୍ୱେ|
11 As you know, as a father with his own children,
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଯଦ୍ୱତ୍ ପିତା ସ୍ୱବାଲକାନ୍ ତଦ୍ୱଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଏକୈକଂ ଜନମ୍ ଉପଦିଷ୍ଟୱନ୍ତଃ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱିତୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚ,
12 we exhorted, comforted, and implored every one of you to lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
ଯ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସ୍ୱୀଯରାଜ୍ୟାଯ ୱିଭୱାଯ ଚ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଆହୂତୱାନ୍ ତଦୁପଯୁକ୍ତାଚରଣାଯ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରୱର୍ତ୍ତିତୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚେତି ଯୂଯଂ ଜାନୀଥ|
13 For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as a human word, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.
ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯେ ଯୂଯମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ମୁଖାଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରେଣ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତଂ ୱାକ୍ୟମ୍ ଅଲଭଧ୍ୱଂ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯେ ତତ୍ ମାନୁଷାଣାଂ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ନ ମତ୍ତ୍ୱେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ମତ୍ତ୍ୱା ଗୃହୀତୱନ୍ତ ଇତି କାରଣାଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ନିରନ୍ତରମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ଧନ୍ୟଂ ୱଦାମଃ, ଯତସ୍ତଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ୱାକ୍ୟମ୍ ଇତି ସତ୍ୟଂ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସିନାଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ତସ୍ୟ ଗୁଣଃ ପ୍ରକାଶତେ ଚ|
14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Judeans;
ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟାଶ୍ରିତୱତ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଯାଃ ସମିତ୍ୟୋ ଯିହୂଦାଦେଶେ ସନ୍ତି ଯୂଯଂ ତାସାମ୍ ଅନୁକାରିଣୋଽଭୱତ, ତଦ୍ଭୁକ୍ତା ଲୋକାଶ୍ଚ ଯଦ୍ୱଦ୍ ଯିହୂଦିଲୋକେଭ୍ୟସ୍ତଦ୍ୱଦ୍ ଯୂଯମପି ସ୍ୱଜାତୀଯଲୋକେଭ୍ୟୋ ଦୁଃଖମ୍ ଅଲଭଧ୍ୱଂ|
15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and did not please God, and are hostile to all people;
ତେ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାଃ ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ଯୀଶୁଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିନଶ୍ଚ ହତୱନ୍ତୋ ଽସ୍ମାନ୍ ଦୂରୀକୃତୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚ, ତ ଈଶ୍ୱରାଯ ନ ରୋଚନ୍ତେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାଂ ମାନୱାନାଂ ୱିପକ୍ଷା ଭୱନ୍ତି ଚ;
16 forbidding us to speak to those who are not Jewish that they may be saved; to fill up their sins always. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
ଅପରଂ ଭିନ୍ନଜାତୀଯଲୋକାନାଂ ପରିତ୍ରାଣାର୍ଥଂ ତେଷାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ସୁସଂୱାଦଘୋଷଣାଦ୍ ଅସ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷେଧନ୍ତି ଚେତ୍ଥଂ ସ୍ୱୀଯପାପାନାଂ ପରିମାଣମ୍ ଉତ୍ତରୋତ୍ତରଂ ପୂରଯନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ତେଷାମ୍ ଅନ୍ତକାରୀ କ୍ରୋଧସ୍ତାନ୍ ଉପକ୍ରମତେ|
17 But we, brothers, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence, not in heart, tried even harder to see your face with great desire,
ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ ମନସା ନହି କିନ୍ତୁ ୱଦନେନ କିଯତ୍କାଲଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମତ୍ତୋ ଽସ୍ମାକଂ ୱିଚ୍ଛେଦେ ଜାତେ ୱଯଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମୁଖାନି ଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁମ୍ ଅତ୍ୟାକାଙ୍କ୍ଷଯା ବହୁ ଯତିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
18 because we wanted to come to you—indeed, I, Paul, once and again—but Satan hindered us.
ଦ୍ୱିରେକକୃତ୍ୱୋ ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମତ୍ସମୀପଗମନାଯାସ୍ମାକଂ ୱିଶେଷତଃ ପୌଲସ୍ୟ ମମାଭିଲାଷୋଽଭୱତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ଶଯତାନୋ ଽସ୍ମାନ୍ ନିୱାରିତୱାନ୍|
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?
ଯତୋଽସ୍ମାକଂ କା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା କୋ ୱାନନ୍ଦଃ କିଂ ୱା ଶ୍ଲାଘ୍ୟକିରୀଟଂ? ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟାଗମନକାଲେ ତତ୍ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥା ଯୂଯଂ କିଂ ତନ୍ନ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଥ?
20 For you are our glory and our joy.
ଯୂଯମ୍ ଏୱାସ୍ମାକଂ ଗୌରୱାନନ୍ଦସ୍ୱରୂପା ଭୱଥ|
