1 Samuel 3
1 The child Samuel ministered to Jehovah before Eli. The word of Jehovah was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision.
၁သူငယ် ရှမွေလ သည်၊ ဧလိ ရှေ့ တွင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမှု တော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်လေ၏။ ထို ကာလ ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် နည်းပါး ၏။ ထင်ရှားသော ရူပါရုံ မ ရှိ။
2 It happened at that time, when Eli was lying down in his place (now his eyes had begun to grow dim, so that he could not see),
၂တရံရောအခါဧလိ သည် မိမိ နေရာ ၌ အိပ် လျက်၊ သူ ၏ မျက်စိ မှုန် သောကြောင့် မ မြင် နိုင် သည်ကာလ၊
3 and the lamp of God hadn't yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in Jehovah's temple, where the ark of God was;
၃ဘုရား သခင်၏ သေတ္တာ တော်ရှိ ရာထာဝရဘုရား အိမ် တော်၌ မီးခွက် မ သေ မှီ၊ ရှမွေလ သည်လည်း အိပ် လျက်ရှိသောအခါ၊
4 that Jehovah called, "Samuel. Samuel." And he said, "Here I am."
၄ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ရှမွေလ ကို ခေါ် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ရှမွေလက အကျွန်ုပ် ရှိ ပါသည်ဟု ထူး သဖြင့်၊
5 He ran to Eli, and said, "Here I am; for you called me." He said, "I did not call; lie down again." He went and lay down.
၅ဧလိ ထံသို့ ပြေး ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်တော်ခေါ် သောကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် လာပါသည်ဟု ဆို လျှင်၊ ဧလိက ငါမ ခေါ် ၊ အိပ် တော့ဟု ဆို သည်အတိုင်း ၊ ရှမွေလသွား ၍ အိပ် ပြန်လေ၏။
6 Jehovah called yet again, "Samuel. Samuel." And he got up and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am; for you called me." He answered, "I did not call, my son; lie down again."
၆တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ရှမွေလ ဟု ခေါ် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ရှမွေလ သည် ထ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ဧလိ ထံသို့ သွား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်တော်ခေါ် သောကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် လာပါသည်ဟု ဆို သော်၊ ဧလိက ငါမ ခေါ် ငါ့ သား ၊ အိပ် တော့ဟု ဆို ၏။
7 Now Samuel did not yet know God, neither was the word of Jehovah yet revealed to him.
၇ရှမွေလ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မ သိ သေး။ ဗျာဒိတ် တော်ကို မ ခံရ သေး။
8 Then Jehovah called Samuel again the third time, and he got up and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli realized that Jehovah had called the child.
၈တတိယ အကြိမ် ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ရှမွေလ ဟု ခေါ် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ရှမွေလထ ပြီးလျှင် ဧလိ ထံသို့ သွား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်တော်ခေါ် သောကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် လာပါသည်ဟုဆို သော်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ထိုသူငယ် ကို ခေါ် တော်မူကြောင်း ကို ဧလိ သည် ရိပ်မိ လျှင်၊
9 So he said, "Go, lie down, and if he calls you, reply, 'Speak, for your servant is listening.'" Then Samuel went and lay down in his place.
၉သင်သွား ၍ အိပ် ဦးတော့၊ နောက် တဖန်ခေါ် လျှင် ၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား အမိန့် ရှိတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ကြား ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် ရမည်အကြောင်းရှမွေလ ကို မှာ ထားသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ရှမွေလ သွား ၍ မိမိ နေရာ ၌ အိပ် လေ၏။
10 And Jehovah came and stood, and called as at other times. Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening."
၁၀ထာဝရဘုရား သည်လည်း ရှေ့နည်းတူလာ ရပ် လျက် ၊ ရှမွေလ ၊ ရှမွေလ ဟု ခေါ်တော်မူလျှင်၊ ရှမွေလ က၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား အမိန့် ရှိတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ကြား ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် လေသော်၊
11 Jehovah said to Samuel, "Look, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of everyone who hears it shall tingle.
၁၁ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ သိတင်းကြား သောသူ တိုင်း နား နှစ် ဘက်ခါး စေခြင်းငှါ ငါ သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ တစုံတခု ကိုပြု မည်။
12 In that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from the beginning even to the end.
၁၂ဧလိ အိမ်သား တို့တဘက် ၌ ငါပြော သမျှ အတိုင်း ထို နေ့ တွင် ငါပြုမည်။ ပြု စရှိပြီးမှ လက်စသတ် မည်။
13 For I have told him that I will judge his house forever, for the iniquity which he knew, because his sons were cursing God, and he did not restrain them.
၁၃ထိုသူ ၏သား တို့သည် ကိုယ်ယုတ်မာ သည်တိုင်အောင်၊ ကိုယ်ပြုသောဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို သူသိ သော်လည်း ကျပ်တည်း စွာ မ ဆုံးမဘဲနေသောကြောင့် ၊ သူ ၏ အိမ်သား တို့၌ ငါ သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ ဒဏ် ပေး မည်ဟု ငါပြော ပြီ။
14 Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be removed with sacrifice nor offering forever."
၁၄ထိုကြောင့် ဧလိ ၏အိမ်သား တို့ အပြစ် သည် ယဇ် နှင့် ပူဇော် သက္ကာအားဖြင့် မ ဖြေ ၊ အစဉ်အမြဲ တည် ရမည် အကြောင်းသူတို့အား ငါ ကျိန်ဆို ပြီဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
15 And Samuel lay there until the morning, and in the morning he got up and opened the doors of the house of Jehovah. And Samuel was afraid to tell Eli the vision.
၁၅ရှမွေလ သည် နံနက် တိုင်အောင် အိပ် ပြီးမှ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်တံခါး တို့ကို ဖွင့် လေ၏။ မြင်ရသော ရူပါရုံ ကို ဧလိ အား မကြားမ ပြော ဝံ့။
16 Then Eli said to Samuel, "Samuel, my son." And he replied, "Here I am."
၁၆ဧလိ က၊ ငါ့ သား ရှမွေလ ဟုခေါ် လျှင် ၊ ရှမွေလ က အကျွန်ုပ် ရှိပါသည်ဟု ထူး လေ၏။
17 He said, "What is the thing that he has spoken to you? Please do not hide it from me. May God do thus to you if you hide anything from me of all the words that he spoke to you in your ears."
၁၇ဧလိကလည်း၊ အဘယ်သို့ မိန့် တော်မူသနည်း။ ငါ့ အား ဝှက် မ ထားပါနှင့်။ မိန့် တော်မူသမျှ တစုံတခုကို ငါ့ အား ဝှက်ထား လျှင် ၊ မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်းမကသင် ၌ ပြု တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ဆို လေသော်၊
18 And Samuel told him everything, and did not hide anything from him. And he said, "It is Jehovah. Let him do what seems good to him."
၁၈ရှမွေလ သည် တစုံတခုကိုမျှ ဝှက် မ ထား အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို ပြန် ကြား၏။ ဧလိကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ် လျှင် အလိုတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပြု တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ဝန်ခံ လေ၏။
19 So Samuel continued to grow, and Jehovah was with him and let none of his words fail.
၁၉ရှမွေလ သည် အစဉ်အတိုင်းကြီး ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ နှင့်အတူ ရှိ တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ သူ ၏ စကား တခွန်းမျှ ပျက် စေခြင်းငှါအခွင့်ပေးတော်မ မူ။
20 Thus all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established as a prophet of Jehovah.
၂၀သူသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပရောဖက် စစ် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည်၊ ဒန် မြို့မှစ၍ ဗေရရှေဘ မြို့တိုင်အောင် သိ ကြ၏။
21 And Jehovah appeared again in Shiloh, for Jehovah revealed himself to Samuel.
၂၁ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ရှိလော မြို့၌ အထပ်ထပ် ထင်ရှား တော်မူ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော် အားဖြင့် ရှမွေလ အား ဗျာဒိတ် ပေးတော်မူ၏။ ရှမွေလစကားသည်လည်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးတရှောက်လုံးကို နှံ့ပြားလေ၏။
