< 1 Corinthians 4 >
1 So a person should consider us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries.
Kutyo nikwo omunu achibhale eswe, kuti bhakosi bhwa Kristo na bhabhiki bho bhumbise bhwe chimali cha Nyamuanga.
2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.
Kulinu, chinu echendibhwa abhabhiki bhabhe bheikanyibhwa.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I do not judge my own self.
Nawe kwanye anye ni chinu chitoto muno kulwokubha enilamulwa nemwe na lindi indamu yae chinyamunu. Kulwokubha nitakwilamula anye omwene.
4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
Nitakwilamula anye omwene, inu itakubha ati anye nili mulengelesi. Ni Latabhugenyi unu kandamula.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one will get his praise from God.
Kulwejo, mtajaga kulamula ingulu ya lyona lyona omwanya guchali kukinga, achali kuja Latabhugenyi. Aligaleta mubhwelu amagambo ganu galiga gebhisile muchisute no kusulula obhwiganilisha bhwe mioyo. Nio bhuli munu alibhona okusimwa kwae okusoka ku Nyamuanga.
6 Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to go beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.
Woli, bhamula bhasu na bhayala bhasu, anye omwene na Apolo nakolele jinu ingulu yemwe. Koleleki okusoka kweswe omutula okwiigila obhugajulo bhwo bhwaiki,”Utagenda okukila kutyo jandikilwe.” Inu ni kutya atalio umwi mwimwe unu kekuya ingulu yo oundi.
7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
Kulwokubha niga unu kalola kundi agati yemwe no oundi? Niki chinu ulinacho chinu utachilamiye bhusa? Na labha ulalamiye bhusa, kulwaki omwikuya kuti mutakolele kutyo?
8 You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
Mwemaliliye mnabhyo bhyona bhinu mwendaga! Mwemaliliye mwabhee no bhunibhi! Mwambile okutunga muna ebhinu okukila eswe! Chimali, enibhasabhilwa obhutungi bhakisi koleleki chitunge amwi nemwe.
9 For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and people.
Kulwejo eniikanyati Nyamuanga achitulilewo eswe jintumwa kuti kucholesha abhobhutelo ku musitali lwabhanu bhalamuhye okuja okwitwa. Chili lwo bhuungusi kubhanyachalo, ku bhamalaika na kubhana bhanu.
10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.
Eswe chili bhamumu kunjuno ya Kristo, nawe emwe muli bhengeso kulwa Kristo. Chili bhalenga, nawe emwe muli na managa. Muna echibhalo, nawe eswe chigailwe.
11 Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.
Nolo omwanya gunu woli chili no mweko no bhwila, chitana ngubho, chili ne bhilonda, na lindi chitana bhwikalo.
12 We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.
Echikola emilimu kwa managa, kwa mabhoko geswe abhene. Chikagaywa, nichibhayana amabhando. Omwanya gunu echinyansibhwa, echikomesha.
13 Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.
Chikafumwa, echisubhya kwo bhwololo. Chili, nobhwiikanyo na chichabhalwa kuti chalemelwe ne chalo na kubha bhinu bhitana chibhalo ku misango jona.
14 I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
Nitakwandika amagambo ganu kubhaswasha emwe, nawe okubhakanya emwe kuti bhana bhani bhendwa.
15 For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.
Nolo muna bheigisha makumi elefu mu Kristo, mutana bhesomwana bhamfu. Kulwokubha nabhee esomwana wemwe ku lwa Yesu Kristo okulabhila emisango jo bhwana.
16 I appeal to you therefore, be imitators of me.
Kulwejo enibhasabhwa mundubhe anye.
17 Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every church.
Eyo niyo injuno inu yakolele nimtuma kwimwe Timotheo, omwendwa wani no mwana mulengelesi ku Latabhugenyi. Alibhechukya jinjila jani mu Kristo, lwakutyo eniigisha bhuli mbala na bhuli kanisa.
18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
Woli amwi mwimwe abhekuya, nibhakola kuti nitalija kwimwe.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
Nawe nilija kwimwe omwanya gutali mulela, labha Latabhugenyi akenda. Niwo nilimenya ati gatali magambo gebhwela bhanu abhekuya, nawe nililola amanaga gebhwe.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Kulwokubha obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga bhutali mumagambo tali mumanaga.
21 What do you want? Should I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
Omwendaki? Nije kwimwe na insimbo angu kwe lyenda no mwoyo omwololo?
