< 1 Corinthians 2 >

1 When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with superiority of speech or wisdom, proclaiming to you the mystery of God.
RI ai kan, ni ai pwara won komail er, kaidin ni kadek lokaia de lolekon en aramaj, me I padaki on komail er kadede en Kot.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Pwe i jota wia kin ia, en aja meakot nan pun omail, Iejuj Krijtuj eta o a kalopuela.
3 When I was with you, I was weak and afraid and I shook.
O nai mimi re omail ni ai luet, o majak, o rerer toto.
4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
O ai kajoi o ai padak kaidin ni kadek lokaia en lolekon, a ni kadede en Neno manaman.
5 that your faith would not rest on human wisdom, but on the power of God.
Pwe omail pojon de pajoneki lolekon en aramaj akan, a manaman en Kot.
6 We speak wisdom, however, among those who are mature, but a wisdom not of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. (aiōn g165)
Ari jo, me kit kin padapadaki me lolekon ren me unjok kan, a kaidin lolekon en jappa et, o pil kaidin en jaupeidi kan en jappa et, me pan jarodi, (aiōn g165)
7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God determined in advance before the ages for our glory, (aiōn g165)
A kit kin padaki duen erpit en Kot me rir, iei me jo janjal, me Kot kotin kileledier ni en jappa jaik mia, pwen kalinanada kitail, (aiōn g165)
8 which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
Me jota jaupeidi en jappa men ajadar, pwe ma re ajaer i, re jota pan kalopuela Kaun en linan. (aiōn g165)
9 But as it is written, No eye has seen, and no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him.
A duen a intinidier: Me jota maj udialer, o me jota jalon eu ronadar, o me jota ko on nan monion en aramaj amen, iei me Kot kotin kaonop on, me pok on i.
10 But to us God revealed it through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
A Kot kotin kadiarok on kitail ki Nen e, pwe Nen kin kotin rapaki meakaroj, pil duen kupur en Kot.
11 For what person knows the things of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Pwe ij aramaj, me kin aja duen lol en aramaj akan, pwe nen en aramaj eta me mi re a? Iduen Kot, jota me aja meakan me udan Kot, pwe Nen en Kot eta.
12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
A kaidin nen en jappa, me kit aleer, a Nen en Kot, pwe kit en ajada meakan, me Kot kotiki on kitail er.
13 And we speak of these things, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
I me kit pil kin padaki wei, kaidin ni lokaia o manin pan lolekon en aramaj, a ni majan akan, me Nen kotin kaweweda, kareda dipijou wenin akan.
14 Now the natural person does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
A aramaj ip pwel jota kin ale meakot ren Nen en Kot, pwe me mal kot on i, pwe a jota kak on, pwe mepukat kin kajauiada ren Nen.
15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.
A me wenin kin kajauiada meakaroj, ap jota amen me pan kak kajauiada i.
16 For, "Who has known the mind of the Lord? Who will instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
Pwe ij me aja duen kupur en Kaun o, de ij me pan kak padaki on i meakot? A Nen en Krijtuj kotikot lol atail.
