< 1 Corinthians 15 >
1 Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
Nyanyui sia ke dzie mieto kpɔ ɖeɖe, ne mielé nya si megblɔ na mi la me ɖe asi sesĩe ko.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
Elabena metsɔ nu si mexɔ la de asi na mi, abe nu gbãtɔ si le vevie ene be Kristo ku ɖe míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo ta abe ale si Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la gblɔ be wòaku ene.
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
Woɖii eye le ŋkeke etɔ̃ megbe la, efɔ tso yɔdo la me abe ale si Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔeawo gblɔe ene.
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
Eɖe eɖokui fia Kefa gbã, eye emegbe ame wuieveawo dometɔ bubuawo hã kpɔe.
6 After that he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.
Ame siawo dometɔ aɖewo gale agbe, ke ɖewo hã ku.
7 After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
Yakobo kpɔe, eye emegbe la, apostoloawo katã kpɔe.
8 and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Elabena nyee nye apostoloawo katã dometɔ suetɔ eye le ale si mewɔ fu Mawu ƒe hamea ta la, mele be woayɔm gɔ̃ hã be apostolo hafi o.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Whether then it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
12 Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Ke ne woɖe gbeƒã be Kristo fɔ tso ame kukuwo dome la, aleke mia dometɔ aɖewo le gbɔgblɔm be ame kukuwo ƒe tsitretsitsi aɖeke meli o mahã?
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.
Elabena ne ame kukuwo ƒe tsitretsitsi meli o la, ekema womefɔ Kristo hã ɖe tsitre o.
14 If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.
15 Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he did not raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.
eye wogakpɔa mí hã abe Mawu ƒe aʋatsoɖaseɖilawo ene, elabena míegblɔ be Mawu fɔ Kristo tso yɔdo me.
16 For if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised.
Nenye be ame kukuwo metsia tsitre o la, ekema Kristo ganye ame kuku kokoko.
17 If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.
18 Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19 If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
Ke nyateƒe lae nye be Kristo tsi tsitre tso ame kukuwo dome vavã eye wòzu gbãtɔ na ame akpeakpe siwo ava tsi tsitre gbe ɖeka.
21 For since death came by a man, the resurrection of the dead also came by a man.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
Elabena ale si amewo katã ku le Adam me la, nenema ke woagbɔ agbe amewo katã hã le Kristo me.
23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ's, at his coming.
Ame sia ame atsi tsitre le eya ŋutɔ ƒe ɣeyiɣi dzi: Kristo tsi tsitre gbã eye ne Kristo gatrɔ va la, eƒe amewo katã agagbɔ agbe.
24 Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
Eya ta Kristo aɖu fia va se ɖe esime wòaɖu eƒe futɔwo katã dzi,
26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
eye wòaɖu futɔ mamlɛtɔ si nye ku gɔ̃ hã dzi. Woaɖu eya hã dzi, eye woaɖee ɖa,
27 For, "He put all things under his feet." But when he says "all things" are put under, it is evident that the one who put all things under is the exception.
elabena Fofo la tsɔ dziɖuɖu kple ŋusẽkpɔkpɔ ɖe nu sia nu dzi na Kristo, ke Kristo meɖu Fofo la ŋutɔ, ame si tsɔ ŋusẽ sia nɛ be wòaɖu dzi la ya dzi o.
28 When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
Ne Kristo ɖu dzi le aʋa si wɔm wòle kple eƒe futɔwo katã me mlɔeba la, ekema eya, Mawu ƒe Vi la, atsɔ eya ŋutɔ hã ade Fofoa ƒe ɖoɖowo te, ale be Mawu, ame si na dziɖuɖui ɖe nu bubu ɖe sia ɖe dzi la azu tatɔ alo dziɖula gãtɔ.
29 Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?
Nu ka ta wòle be miawɔe ne miexɔe se be ame kukuwo magatsi tsitre o?
30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?
Eye nu ka ta wòle be míatsɔ míaƒe agbe ade xaxa me anɔ ku ƒe asi me ɣe sia ɣi?
31 I affirm, brothers, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Enye nyateƒe be menɔa ku ƒe asi me gbe sia gbe.
32 If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
33 Do not be deceived. "Bad company corrupts good morals."
Migana ame siwo gblɔa nya siawo la nado lã mi o. Habɔbɔ vɔ̃wo gblẽa nuwɔwɔ nyuiwo.
34 Become sober-minded, and do not sin, for some are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.
Miwɔ susu ŋu dɔ eye miadzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ. Mia dometɔ aɖewo menya Mawu o, mele esia gblɔm be ŋu nakpe mi.
35 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised?" and, "With what kind of body do they come?"
Ke ame aɖe abia be, “Aleke ame kukuwo le fɔfɔ ge ɖe tsitre mahã? Ŋutilã ka tɔgbie anɔ wo si?”
36 You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.
Biabia sia nye abunɛtɔwo ƒe biabia!
37 That which you sow, you do not sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.
Nu si miede to me la nye bliku sue aɖe ko alo nuku bubu aɖe si mieƒã.
38 But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
Emegbe la, Mawu naa dzedzeme nyui yeye aɖee; nɔnɔme si eya ŋutɔ di be wòanɔ esi. Ati bubu ƒomevi doa go tso nuku ɖe sia ɖe ƒomevi me.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of humans, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
Abe ale si nuku kple ati ƒomevi vovowo li ene la, nenema kee ŋutilã ƒomevi vovovowo hã li. Amegbetɔwo, lãwo, tɔmelãwo kple xeviwo ƒe ŋutilãwo to vovo.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.
Nenema ke woƒe nyonyo kple ŋutikɔkɔe hã to vovo tso mia tɔ gbɔe.
41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
Nenema ke míaƒe anyigbadziŋutilã siwo kuna, eye wonyunyɔna la to vovo tso ŋutilã siwo anɔ mía si ne míetsi tsitre la gbɔ, elabena woawo ya magaku gbeɖe o.
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
Ŋutilã siwo nye mía tɔ fifia la ɖea fu na mí elabena woléa dɔ, eye wokuna, ke ŋutikɔkɔe ayɔ wo me ne míeva tsi tsitre. Ɛ̃, wonye ŋutilã siwo gbɔdzɔna, eye wokuna fifia, ke ne míeva tsi tsitre la, ŋusẽ ayɔ wo me fũu.
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
Wonye dzɔdzɔmeŋutilãwo ko le ku me, ke ne míeva tsi tsitre la, woanye gbɔgbɔmeŋutilãwo elabena abe ale si amegbetɔwo ƒe ŋutilã dzɔdzɔmetɔwo li ene la, nenema ke ŋutilã siwo nye gbɔgbɔmetɔwo hã li.
45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la gblɔe na mí be, “Ame gbãtɔ, Adam, zu luʋɔ gbagbe.” Ke Adam mamlɛtɔ la zu gbɔgbɔ si na agbe.
46 However that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
Ale menye gbɔgbɔmetɔe nye gbãtɔ o, ke boŋ dzɔdzɔmetɔ lae. Eya megbe hafi gbɔgbɔmetɔ va.
47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is from heaven.
48 As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let us also bear the image of the heavenly.
Abe ale si anyigbadzitɔa ƒe nɔnɔme le mía ŋu la, nenema kee dziƒotɔa ƒe nɔnɔme anɔ mía si gbe ɖeka.
50 Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
Míaƒe ŋutilã siwo gblẽna la menye ŋutilã nyuitɔ siwo anɔ agbe tegbee o.
51 Look, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
Ke mele nya ɣaɣla wɔnuku sia gblɔm na mi: Mí katã míaku o, ke woana ŋutilã yeyewo mí katã.
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
Nu siawo katã ava eme le aɖabaƒoƒo ɖeka me ne woku kpẽ mamlɛtɔ. Elabena woaku kpẽ aɖe tso dziŋgɔlĩ me eye kristotɔ siwo katã ku la atsi tsitre enumake kple ŋutilã yeye siwo maku akpɔ o eye mí ame siwo gale agbe la, woana ŋutilã yeyewo míawo hã enumake.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Elabena ele be woatrɔ míaƒe anyigbadziŋutilã siwo le mía si fifia, eye woate ŋu aku la woazu dziƒoŋutilã siwo mate ŋu agblẽ o, ke boŋ woanɔ agbe tegbee.
54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
Ne eva dzɔ alea la, ekema Ŋɔŋlɔ Kɔkɔe la me nyawo ava eme be, “Womi ku le dziɖuɖu me.”
55 "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" (Hadēs )
O, ku, afi ka wò dziɖuɖu la le? O, ku afi ka wò ti la le? (Hadēs )
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Elabena ku ƒe ti nye nu vɔ̃, eye nu vɔ̃ ƒe ŋusẽ nye se la.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Míeda akpe na Mawu le esiawo katã ta! Eyae wɔ mí dziɖulawoe to Yesu Kristo míaƒe Aƒetɔ la dzi!
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Eya ta nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, esi kakaɖedzi li be míava ɖu dzi ta la, misẽ ŋu, eye minɔ te. Mina miaƒe dɔwɔwɔ le Aƒetɔ la me nagbã go ɖaa, elabena mienya be nu sia nu si miawɔ na Aƒetɔa la mazu dzodzro akpɔ abe ale si wòanɔ ne tsitretsitsi aɖeke meli ene o.
