< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
Tsopano abale anga okondedwa, sindikufuna mukhale osadziwa za mphatso za Mzimu.
2 You know that when you were unbelievers, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
Inu mukudziwa kuti pamene munali akunja, ankakusocheretsani mʼnjira zosiyanasiyana ndi kukukokerani ku mafano osayankhula.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.
Nʼchifukwa chake ndikuwuzani kuti palibe munthu amene ali ndi Mzimu wa Mulungu angayankhule kuti, “Yesu atembereredwe,” ndiponso palibe munthu anganene kuti “Yesu ndi Ambuye,” popanda kutsogozedwa ndi Mzimu Woyera.
4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
Pali mphatso zosiyanasiyana, koma Mzimu yemweyo.
5 There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
Pali mautumiki osiyanasiyana koma Ambuye yemweyo.
6 There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
Pali magwiridwe antchito osiyanasiyana, koma Mulungu yemweyo amagwira ntchito monsemo mwa anthu onse.
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
Tsono Mzimu amapereka mphatso kwa aliyense kuti ipindulire onse.
8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
Mzimu amapereka kwa munthu wina mawu anzeru, Mzimu yemweyonso amapereka kwa wina mawu achidziwitso.
9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the one Spirit;
Kwa wina, Mzimu yemweyo amapereka chikhulupiriro, kwa wina mphatso zamachiritso, Mzimu yemweyo.
10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
Kwa wina mphamvu zochita zodabwitsa, kwa wina mawu a uneneri, kwa wina mphatso yozindikira mizimu, kwa wina malilime osiyanasiyana, ndiponso kwa wina kutanthauzira malilimewo.
11 But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
Zonsezi ndi ntchito za Mzimu mmodzi yemweyo, ndipo amapereka kwa munthu aliyense monga momwe Mzimuyo wafunira.
12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
Thupi ndi limodzi, ngakhale kuti lapangidwa ndi ziwalo zambiri. Ndipo ngakhale ziwalo zake zonse ndi zambiri, zimapanga thupi limodzi. Momwemonso ndi mmene alili Khristu.
13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink of one Spirit.
Pakuti tonse tinabatizidwa ndi Mzimu mmodzi mʼthupi limodzi. Myuda kapena Mgriki, kapolo kapena mfulu tonse tinapatsidwa kuti timwe Mzimu mmodzi yemweyo.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Tsopano thupi silinapangidwe ndi chiwalo chimodzi koma ndi ziwalo zambiri.
15 If the foot would say, "Because I'm not a hand, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
Ngati phazi litanena kuti, “Pakuti sindine dzanja, sindine chiwalo cha thupi.” Chifukwa chimenechi sichingachititse phazi kuti lisakhale chiwalo cha thupi.
16 And if the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
Ndipo ngati khutu litanena kuti, “Pakuti sindine diso, sindine chiwalo cha thupi.” Chifukwa chimenechi sichingachititse khutu kuti lisakhale chiwalo cha thupi.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
Kodi thupi lonse likanakhala diso, tikanamamva bwanji? Nanga thupi lonse likanakhala khutu, tikanamanunkhiza bwanji?
18 But as a matter of fact, God has arranged the members of the body, each one of them, according to his design.
Koma zoona nʼzakuti, Mulungu anayika ziwalo mʼthupi, chilichonse monga momwe Iye anafunira.
19 If they were all the same member, where would the body be?
Nanga zonse zikanakhala chiwalo chimodzi, ndiye thupi likanakhala lotani?
20 So now there are many members, but one body.
Mmene zililimu, pali ziwalo zambiri koma thupi ndi limodzi lokha.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
Diso silingawuze dzanja kuti, “Iwe sindikukufuna!” Ndipo mutu sungawuze phazi kuti “Iwe sindikukufuna!”
22 On the contrary, those members which seem to be weaker are essential,
Mʼmalo mwake, ziwalo zathupi zimene zimaoneka ngati zofowoka ndizo zili zofunikira kwambiri,
23 and the parts which we think less honorable we treat with greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with dignity,
ndipo ziwalo zathupi zimene timaziyesa zopanda ulemu, ndizo timazilemekeza kwambiri. Ndipo ziwalo zosaoneka bwino ndizo zimalandira ulemu wapadera.
24 whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the lesser member,
Koma ziwalo zooneka bwino, nʼkosafunika kuti tizisamalire mwapadera. Mulungu polumikiza ziwalo zathupi, anapereka ulemu wopambana kwa ziwalo zimene zimafunadi ulemuwo
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same concern for one another.
kuti pasakhale kugawikana mʼthupi koma kuti ziwalo zonse zisamalirane.
26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If a member is honored, all rejoice with it.
Ngati chiwalo chimodzi chikumva kuwawa, ziwalo zonse zimamvanso kuwawa. Ngati chiwalo chimodzi chilandira ulemu, ziwalo zonse zimakondwera nawo.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Tsopano inu ndinu thupi la Khristu, ndipo aliyense wa inu ndi chiwalo cha thupilo.
28 God has set some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of tongues.
Ndipo Mulungu mu mpingo anayika poyamba atumwi, kachiwiri aneneri, kachitatu aphunzitsi, kenaka ochita zozizwitsa, ena a mphatso zamachiritso, ena a mphatso yothandiza anzawo, ena a mphatso yotsogolera ndiponso ena a mphatso ya malilime.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
Kodi onse ndi atumwi? Kodi onse ndi aneneri? Kodi onse ndi aphunzitsi? Kodi onse amachita zozizwitsa?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Kodi onse ali ndi mphatso zamachiritso? Kodi onse amayankhula malilime? Kodi onse amatanthauzira malilime?
31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
Koma funitsitsani mphatso zopambana. Tsopano ndikuonetsani njira yopambana kwambiri.
