1 Chronicles 4
1 The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, and Caleb, and Hur, and Shobal.
೧ಯೆಹೂದನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಪೆರೆಚ್, ಹೆಚ್ರೋನ್, ಕರ್ಮೀ, ಹೂರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶೋಬಾಲ್.
2 Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath; and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.

3 These were the sons of Etam: Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister was Hazzelelponi;

4 and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
೪ಗೆದೋರಿನ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನು ಪೆನೂವೇಲನು. ಹೂಷಾಹ್ಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನು ಏಜೆರ್. ಇವರು ಎಫ್ರಾತಾಹಳ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೂರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಈ ಹೂರನೇ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್ಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನು.
5 Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
೫ತೆಕೋವದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಅಷ್ಹೂರನಿಗೆ ಹೆಲಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ನಾರ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಿದ್ದರು.
6 Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
೬ಅಹುಜ್ಜಾಮ್, ಹೇಫೆರ್ ತೇಮಾನ್ಯರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಷ್ಟಾರ್ಯರೂ ಎಂಬುವವರು ನಾರಳ ಸಂತಾನದವರು.
7 The sons of Helah were Zereth, and Zohar, and Ethnan, and Koz.
೭ಹೆಲಾಹಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಚೆರೆತ್ ಇಚ್ಹಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎತ್ನಾನ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು.
8 And Koz became the father of Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
೮ಕೋಚನಿಂದ ಅನೂಬ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಚೊಬೇಬ್ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಅಹರ‍್ಹೇಲನು ಹಾರುಮನ ಮಗನು. ಕೋಚನು ಇವರ ವಂಶದ ಮೂಲ ಪುರುಷ.
9 And Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him with pain."
೯ಯಾಬೇಚನು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಹು ವೇದನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೆತ್ತೆನೆಂದು ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ ಇವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಬೇಚನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, so that it might not cause me pain." And God granted him that which he requested.
೧೦ಯಾಬೇಚನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾಹಸ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ಯಾವ ವೇದನೆಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಗದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬಾರದೇ?” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
11 Chelub the brother of Shuhah became the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
೧೧ಶೂಹನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಕೆಲೂಬನು ಮೆಹೀರನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಮೆಹೀರನು ಎಷ್ಟೋನನ ತಂದೆ.
12 Eshton became the father of Beth Rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir Nahash. These are the men of Rechab.
೧೨ಎಷ್ಟೋನನಿಂದ ಬೇತ್ರಾಫ, ಪಾಸೇಹ, ತೆಹಿನ್ನ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ರೇಕಾಹ್ಯರು. ತೆಹಿನ್ನನು ನಾಹಷ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನು.
13 The sons of Kenaz: Othniel, and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.
೧೩ಕೆನಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒತ್ನೀಯೇಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆರಾಯ ಎಂಬುವವರು. ಒತ್ನೀಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹತತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಯೋನೋತೈ.
14 And Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge Harashim; for they were craftsmen.
೧೪ಮೆಯೋನೊತೈಯು ಒಫ್ರಾಹನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಸೆರಾಯನು ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳಾದ ಗೇಹರಾಷೀಮ್ಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
15 The sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Ir, and Elah, and Naam; and the sons of Elah: Kenaz.
೧೫ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಈರು, ಏಲಹ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಮ್. ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಕೆನಜ್‌.
16 The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
೧೬ಯೆಹಲ್ಲೆಲೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಜೀಫ್, ಜೀಫಾ, ತೀರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸರೇಲ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು.
17 The sons of Ezrah: Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon. And Jether became the father of Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
೧೭ಎಜ್ರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಯೆತೆರ್, ಮೆರೆದ್, ಏಫೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಲೋನ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು. ಮೆರೆದನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಿತ್ಯೆಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಈಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಂದ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮ್, ಶಮ್ಮೈ, ಎಷ್ಟೆಮೋವದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಇಷ್ಬಹ ಇವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
18 His Judean wife bore Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. These are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took.
೧೮ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯಳಾದ ಅವನ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಗೆದೋರ್ಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಯೆರೆದ್, ಸೋಕೋವಿನವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಹೆಬೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾನೋಹದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಯೆಕೂತೀಯೇಲ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
19 The sons of his Judean wife, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
೧೯ನಹಮನ ತಂಗಿಯೂ, ಹೋದೀಯನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಗರ್ಮ್ಯದ ಕೆಯೀಲದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದನು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಎಷ್ಟೆಮೋವದವರ ಮಾಕಾತ್ಯ ಸಂತಾನದ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದನು.
20 The sons of Shimon: Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben Hanan, and Tilon. The sons of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
೨೦ಶೀಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಅಮ್ನೋನ್, ರಿನ್ನ, ಬೆನ್ಹಾನಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ತೀಲೋನ್. ಇಷ್ಷೀಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಜೋಹೇತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆನ್ಜೊಹೇತ್.
21 The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of the linen workers at Beth Ashbea;
೨೧ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೇಲಹನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಲೇಕಾಹ್ಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಏರ್, ಮರೇಷದವರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಲದ್ದ, ಬೇತಷ್ಬೇಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೇಯಿಗಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳವರು,
22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had married in Moab, and returned to Lehem. The records are ancient.
೨೨ಯೊಕೀಮನು ಕೋಜೇಬದವರು ಮೋವಾಬ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತನ ನಡಿಸಿ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದ ಯೋವಾಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರಾಫ್ ಇವರೇ. (ಇವು ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು.)
23 These were the potters, and the inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah. They lived there with the king in his service.
೨೩ಮೇಲೆ ಕಂಡ ಜನರು ಕುಂಬಾರರು. ಅವರು ನೆಟಾಯಿಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೆದೇರ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
24 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, Jakin, Zohar, Shaul;
೨೪ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ನೆಮೂವೇಲ್, ಯಾಮೀನ್, ಯಾರೀಬ್, ಜೆರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲ.
25 Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
೨೫ಸೌಲನ ಮಗ ಶಲ್ಲುಮ್. ಇವನ ಮಗ ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮ್. ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮನ ಮಗ ಮಿಷ್ಮ.
26 The descendants of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zakkur his son, Shimei his son.
೨೬ಮಿಷ್ಮಾನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಇವನ ಮಗ ಹಮ್ಮೂವೇಲ್, ಇವನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗ ಜಕ್ಕೂರ್. ಜಕ್ಕೂರನ ಮಗನು ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ.
27 Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers did not have many children, neither did all their families multiply like the people of Judah.
೨೭ಶಿಮ್ಮೀಗೆ ಹದಿನಾರು ಜನರು ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆರು ಜನರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕುಲವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲದಷ್ಟು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
28 They lived at Beersheba, and Shema, and Moladah, and Hazar Shual,
೨೮ದಾವೀದನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ತನಕ ಅವರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಇವು: ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬ, ಮೋಲಾದ್, ಹಚರ್ ಷೂವಾಲ,
29 and at Balah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,

30 and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
೩೦ಬೆತೂವೇಲ್, ಹೊರ್ಮ, ಚಿಕ್ಲಗ್,
31 and at Beth Marcaboth, and Hazar Susim, and at Beth Biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities until David became king.
೩೧ಬೇತ್ ಮರ್ಕಾಬೋತ್, ಹಚರ್ ಸೂಸೀಮ್, ಬೆತ್ ಬಿರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾರಯಿಮ್.
32 Their villages were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Token, and Ashan, five cities;
೩೨ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ ಐದು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಏಟಾಮ್, ಅಯಿನ್, ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್, ತೋಕೆನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಷಾನ್.
33 and all their villages that were around the same cities as far as Baal. These were their habitations, and they have their genealogy.
೩೩ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ ಊರಿನ ವರೆಗಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೂ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವರು ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
34 Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,
೩೪ಮೆಷೋಬಾಬ್, ಯಮ್ಲೇಕ್, ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷ,
35 and Joel, and Jehu the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
೩೫ಯೋವೇಲ್, ಯೊಷಿಬ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ, ಸೆರಾಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ, ಅಸಿಯೇಲನ ಮರಿಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಹೂ,
36 and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
೩೬ಎಲ್ಯೋವೇನೈ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಯೆಷೋಹಾಯ, ಅಸಾಯ, ಅದೀಯೇಲ್, ಯೆಸೀಮಿಯೇಲ್, ಬೆನಾಯ ಮತ್ತು
37 and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah—
೩೭ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ರಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಯೆದಾಯನ ಮರಿಮಗನೂ, ಅಲ್ಲೋನನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ, ಶಿಪ್ಫಿಯ ಮಗನು ಆದ ಜೀಜ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
38 these mentioned by name were leaders in their families. And their ancestral houses increased greatly.
೩೮ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದವು.
39 They went to the entrance of Gerar, even to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
೩೯ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಡು, ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಗೆದೋರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಕಣಿವೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ, ಆಚೆಯ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಹಸಿರು ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.
40 They found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for those who lived there before were of Ham.
೪೦ದೇಶವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸುಖ ಸಮಾಧಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ಹಾಮ್ಯರೇ.
41 These written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and struck their tents, and The Meunites who were found there, and destroyed them utterly to this day, and lived in their place; because there was pasture there for their flocks.
೪೧ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಹಾಮ್ಯರ ಪಾಳೆಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಮೆಗೂನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಗೆದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ನಾಮಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಡುಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೂಲನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
42 Some of them, even of the descendants of Simeon, five hundred men, went to Mount Seir, having for their leaders Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
೪೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಕುಲದ ಐನೂರು ಜನರು ಸೇಯೀರ್ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಇಷ್ಷೀಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಪೆಲಟ್ಯ, ನೆಗರ್ಯ, ರೆಫಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಅವರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು.
43 They struck the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and have lived there to this day.
೪೩ಅವರು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನೆಲೆಸಿದರು.
