Zephaniah 1
1 The word of the LORD which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.
၁ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာမုန် သား ယောရှိ မင်းလက်ထက် ၊ ဟိဇကိ ၊ အာမရိ ၊ ဂေဒလိ တို့မှ ဆင်းသက်သော ကုရှိ ၏သား ဇေဖနိ သို့ ရောက် လာသော ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်ဟူမူကား၊
2 I will utterly sweep away everything off of the surface of the earth, says the LORD.
၂ပြည် တပြည်လုံး ၌ ရှိလေသမျှ တို့ကို အကုန်အစင် ငါသုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်း မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
3 I will sweep away people and animals. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble. I will remove humankind from the surface of the earth, says the LORD.
၃လူ နှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန် တို့ကို ပယ်ရှင်း မည်။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင် ငှက် နှင့် ပင်လယ် ငါး တို့ကို၎င်း၊ အဓမ္မ လူတို့ နှင့်တကွ ပြစ်မှား စရာအကြောင်းတို့ကို၎င်းငါပယ်ရှင်းမည်။ မြေ တပြင်လုံး ၌ ရှိသောလူ သတ္တဝါတို့ကိုလည်း ငါ ပယ်ရှင်း မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
4 I will stretch out my hand against Judah, and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, the name of the idolatrous priests along with the priests,
၄ယုဒ ပြည်သူ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ သားအပေါင်း တို့ကို ငါတိုက် ၍ ၊ ဤ အရပ် ၌ ကျန် ကြွင်းသော ဗာလ ဘုရား၏ တပည့်တို့နှင့် ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို၎င်း ၊
5 those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops, those who worship and swear by the LORD and also swear by Milcom,
၅ကောင်းကင် တန်ဆာ များကို အိမ်မိုး ပေါ် မှာ ကိုးကွယ် သောသူ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား နှင့် မာလခံ ဘုရားကို တိုင်တည် လျက် ကျိန်ဆိုကိုးကွယ် သောသူတို့ ကို၎င်း ၊
6 those who have turned back from following the LORD, and those who haven't sought the LORD nor inquired after him.
၆ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နောက် တော်သို့ မလိုက်၊ ဆုတ် သွားသောသူ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မ ရှာဖွေ ၊ မ မေးမြန်း သောသူတို့ ကို၎င်း ငါပယ်ရှင်း မည်။
7 Be silent at the presence of the LORD, for the day of the LORD is at hand. For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.
၇အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ရှေ့ တော်၌ ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ နေကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နေ့ နီး ပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိယဇ် ပွဲတော်ကို ပြင်ဆင် ၍၊ ပွဲဝင် သောသူတို့ ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေတော်မူပြီ။
8 It will happen in the day of the LORD's sacrifice that I will punish the princes, the king's sons, and all those who are clothed with foreign attire.
၈ထာဝရဘုရား ပွဲခံတော်မူသောနေ့ ၌ မင်း များ၊ ဆွေ တော် မျိုးတော်များနှင့် ထူးခြားစွာ ဝတ် သောသူများ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ငါစစ်ကြော မည်။
9 In that day, I will punish all those who leap over the threshold, who fill their master's house with violence and deceit.
၉သူတပါး၏အိမ်တံခါးခုံ ကို ကျော် ၍ အနိုင်အထက် ပြုခြင်း၊ လှည့်စား ခြင်းအားဖြင့်ရသောဥစ္စာနှင့် မိမိ သခင် ၏ အိမ် ကို ပြည့် စေသောသူအပေါင်း တို့ကိုလည်း ထို နေ့ ၌ ငါစစ်ကြော မည်။
10 On that day, says the LORD, there will be the noise of a cry from the Fish Gate, a wailing from the Second Quarter, and a loud crash from the hills.
၁၀ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ထို နေ့ ၌ ငါး တံခါးဝ မှာ အော်ဟစ် သံ ကို၎င်း ၊ ဒုတိယ မြို့၌ ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းသံကို၎င်း ၊ တောင်ရိုး ၌ ပြင်း စွာချိုးဖျက် သံကို၎င်း ကြားရ၏။
11 Wail, you inhabitants of the market district, for all the merchants will be destroyed, and all those who weigh out silver will be removed.
၁၁မတ္တေရှ အရပ် သားတို့၊ ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းကြလော့ ။ ကုန်သည် အပေါင်း တို့သည် ပြတ် ကြပြီ။ ငွေ ကို ဆောင် သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဆုံး ကြပြီ။
12 It will happen at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the people who are complacent, who say in their heart, "The LORD will not do good, nor will he do harm."
၁၂ထို ကာလ ၌ ငါသည် မီးခွက် ကို ကိုင်၍ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို စစ်ကြောမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကျေးဇူး ကိုလည်း မ ပြု၊ အပြစ် ကိုလည်း မ ပေးဟု အောက်မေ့ လျက်၊ မိမိ တို့အနည် အဖတ်ပေါ် ၌ နေရာ ကျသောသူ တို့ ကို ငါစစ်ကြော မည်။
13 Their wealth will be looted and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won't inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won't drink their wine.
၁၃ထိုသူ တို့၏ဥစ္စာ ကို သူတပါးလုယူ ၍ ၊ သူ တို့၏ နေရာ သည် လူဆိတ်ညံ လျက် ရှိ လိမ့်မည်။ အိမ် ကို ဆောက် သော်လည်း မ နေ ရကြ။ စပျစ် ဥယျာဉ်ကို စိုက် သော်လည်း စပျစ်ရည် ကို မ သောက် ရကြ။
14 The great day of the LORD is near. Near and approaching very rapidly. The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter. In it the warrior shouts his battle cry.
၁၄ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နေ့ ကြီး နီး ပြီ။ နီး ပြီ။ အလျင်အမြန် လာ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နေ့ သိတင်း သည် နား၌ ခါး ၏။ ထိုနေ့၌ သူရဲ သည် အော်ဟစ် လိမ့်မည်။
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of devastation and ruin, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
၁၅ထို နေ့ သည် အမျက် ထွက်သောနေ့ ၊ ဆင်းရဲ ပူပန် ခြင်းကို ခံရသောနေ့ ၊ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းဖျက်ဆီး ရာနေ့ ၊ အလင်း ကွယ်၍ မှောင်မိုက် သောနေ့ ၊ မိုဃ်းအုံ့ ၍ ထူထပ် သောမှောင်မိုက် ဖုံးလွှမ်းသောနေ့ ၊
16 a day of the trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities, and against the high corner towers.
၁၆ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ ၊ မြင့် သောရဲတိုက် တို့တဘက် ၌ တံပိုး မှုတ်၍ ကြွေးကြော် ရာနေ့ ဖြစ်၏။
17 I will bring distress on the people, that they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD, and their blood will be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung.
၁၇သူတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ပြစ်မှား သောကြောင့် ၊ သူ တို့ကို ငါညှဉ်းဆဲ သဖြင့် မျက်စိ မမြင်သော သူကဲ့သို့ သွား ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူ တို့အသွေး ကို မြေမှုန့် ကဲ့သို့ သွန်း ၍ အသား ကိုလည်း မစင် ကဲ့သို့ မှတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will bring terrifying destruction on all the inhabitants of the land.
၁၈ထာဝရဘုရား အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူသောနေ့ ၌ သူ တို့ရွှေ ငွေ သည် သူ တို့ကို မ ကယ်တင် နိုင် ရာ။ ဒေါသ အမျက်တော်မီး သည် တပြည်လုံး ကို လောင် လိမ့်မည်။ ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားအပေါင်း တို့ကို အလျင်အမြန် စီရင် ၍ အကုန်အစင် သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
