< Romans 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of Meshikha Yeshua, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
Paul, Jesu Khrih a tyihzawih, tyihzawih hamna ak khy, Khawsa Awithang leek kqawn hamna ak khy ing,
2 which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
cawhkaw awithang leek taw Cakciim awh amah a tawnghakhqi hawnaak ing ak cyk ca awhkawng a taak hyt awi ceni,
3 concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of Dawid according to the flesh,
pumsa ben awhtaw David a cadil na ak awm, amah a capa akawng ce,
4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Rukha of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Yeshua Meshikha our Lord,
thihnaak awhkawng a thawhnaak ak caming, ningnih a Bawipa Jesu Khrih taw Khawsa capa ni tinawh thaawmnaak ing ciimcaihnaak Myihla ing kqawn hy.
5 through whom we received grace and the office of apostle, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;
Anih ak caming ang ming awh, cangnaak ak caming ak awingainaak ak khuiawh thlangkhqi ing a mi kun thainaak aham Gentel thlangkhqi khy aham am qeennaak ing ceityih bibi ve ni hu uhy.
6 among whom you are also called to belong to Yeshua Meshikha;
Nangmih awm Jesu Khrih thlang na awm lawt aham ak khy khqi anglakawh paa lawt uhyk ti.
7 to all who are in Rome, loved by God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua Meshikha.
Khawsa ing lungna nawh thlak ciimcaih na awm hamna ak khy Rom khaw awhkaw thlangkhqi boeih a venawh: Pa Khawsa ingkaw Bawipa Jesu Khrih a venawh kaw ngaihdingnaak ingkaw am qeennaak nangmih Rom khawawh ak awmkhqi boeih a venawh awm seh.
8 First, I thank my God through Yeshua Meshikha for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.
Lamma cyk awh, nangmih ak cangnaak akawng ce khawmdek pum awh amik kqawn dawngawh, nangmih boeih awh ce Jesu Khrih ak caming Khawsa venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn nyng.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how I constantly mention you
Kak kawlung boeih ing a Capa ak awithang leek khypyi nyng saw a bi ka bi peekkung, Khawsa ing cykcahnaak ka taaknaak a hoei awh nangmih am nim hilh khqi qoe qoe nyng tice sim nyng,
10 always in my prayers, requesting, if by any means now at last I may succeed by the will of God to come to you.
a hukhit awh nangmih a venna ka lawnaak thai aham Khawsa ing chawh am awng lawnaak aham cykcah nyng.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you;
Myihla kutdo a vang a phal awm ni pek khqi nawh namik tha a awmnaak thai aham nami huh aham ngaih soeih nyng;
12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
pynoet ingkaw pynoet cangnaak benawh thaawmnaak ni taaknaak aham ngaih nyng.
13 Now I do not desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the other non-Jewish people.
Gentel thlangkhqi venawh ak thaih kak bih hawh amyihna, nangmih anglakawh awm kak bihnaak thai aham, law aham cai khing hawh hlai nyng (tuhdy anik kangkung awm khak hy) tice, koeinaakhqi, a sim kaana awm ham am ni ngaih khqi nyng.
14 I have an obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
Greek thlangkhqi ingkaw Greek thlangkhqi am a venawh awm, thlakcyikhqi ingkaw thlakqawkhqi venawh awm sai hly kawi ta khak nyng.
15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.
Cedawngawh maw Rom khaw awh amik awm nangmih a venawh awm awithang leek kqawn aham ka ngaih khak lawt mah hy.
16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Awithang leek awh chahnaak am ta nyng, ak cangnaak thlangkhqi boeih hulnaak a hamna Khawsa ak thaawmnaak na a awm dawngawh: lammacyk awh Judakhqi ahamna awm nawh cekcoengawh Gentelkhqi ahamna awm hy.
17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."
Awithang leek awh Khawsa venawh kawng ak dyng pynoet ce dang hawh hy, “Thlakdyng taw cangnaak ing hqing kaw,” tinawh qee ce amyihna, ak cyk ca awhkawng a dytnaak dyna cangnaak ing dyngnaak ce awm hawh hy.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, who suppress the truth by unrighteousness,
Khawsa amak simkhqi ingkaw khawboe seetnaak ing thlang ak thekhanaak thlakche khqik khanawh khan benna kawng Khawsa ak kawsonaak ce dang noe noe hawh hy,
19 because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Khawsa ing ak zoei cana a sai peek khqi dawngawh, a mingmih ing Khawsa a mi sim thainaak aham zoei cahy.
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse. (aïdios g126)
Ikawtih khawmdek a syn cyk ca awhkawng sim thai na amak awm Khawsa a saithainaak, kumqui thaawmnaak ingkaw a Khawsa nihnaak ce, ak ceet cana dang hawh hy, a them saikhqi awh zaaksim thainaak awm hawh nawh, thlanghqing ing oelh thainaak a lam am awm hy. (aïdios g126)
21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but their thinking became nonsense, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Khawsa ce sim hlai uhy, Khawsa amyihna am kyihcah unawh zeelnaak awi awm ap kqawn uhy, themche poeknaak ing amik kawlung be nawh, amik kawmikna hyp hy.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Thlakcyi na ngai qu hlai uhy, thlakqaw na awm uhy,
23 and traded the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal humans, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and crawling creatures.
amak see thai Khawsa a boeimangnaak ce ak see thai thlanghqing, phakhqi, qamsakhqi ingkaw ak cawlhthaikhqi a myi amyihna sai uhy.
24 Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
Cedawngawh Khawsa ing a mimah thawlh ngaihnaak amyihna pynoet ingkaw pynoet a pum ce chahqai na a awmnaak aham nu pa thawlh sainaak amak ciimcaih benna pehy.
25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Khawsa awitak ce a hqawng ah qapna coeng sak unawh, ak saikung anglakawh a sai them ce bawk unawh a bi ce bi pe uhy. Ak Saikung taw ang loetna kyihcah tyng ni. Amen. (aiōn g165)
26 For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature.
Cedawngawh Khawsa ce chahpyih hamna hyyngaihnaak ing mang taak nawh; nukhqi ingawm ami thangpyi khawsaknaak ce amak leek khawsaknaak benna hawi pyi uhy;
27 Likewise also the men, giving up natural relations with women, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
cemyih lawtna pakhqi ingawm nukhqi mi ih a awmnaak ce nawn unawh, pa ingkaw pa zaak amak leekna ip a awm unawh ami thawlh phu zaawk kawi ce amimah ing zaawk uhy.
28 Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God abandoned them to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right;
Khawsa simnaak ve ikawna awm ama ming ngai dawngawh, a mimah ak kawlung seetnaak ing sai hly am kawi sainaak benna Khawsa ing a mingmih ce pek khqi hy.
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
Cekkhqi ce thawlhnaak a soep a hoei, khawboe seetnaak, kamvaanaak ingkaw seetnaak ing be unawh; ytnaak, thlang himnaak, hqonaak, thailatnaak, sawhnaak ing be uhy; thlang theetnaak,
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
kawsonaak, Khawsa sawhnaak, thlang kawna am huhnaak, thinsahnaak ingkaw oek qunaak ing be uhy; themche sainaak, nu pa ak awi am ngainaak;
31 foolish, promise-breakers, heartless, unforgiving, unmerciful;
kaw amak awmkhqi, cangnaak amak takhqi, lungnaak amak takhqi, qeemmaal amak takhqi na awm uhy.
32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
Cemyih a them che ak saikhqi taw ami thih ham awm hy ti Khawsak awipeek ak awm ce sim hlai uhyk ti, a mimah ing a mi sai doeng am khoek nawh, thlang chang ak saikhqi ce ym pyi uhy.
