< Psalms 8 >

1 [For the Chief Musician; on an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by David.] LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have put your glory upon the heavens.
Gittith rhotoeng dongah aka mawt ham David kah tingtoenglung Kaimih kah boeipa Yahweh tah, diklai pum ah na ming metlam a khuet tih, na mueithennah te vaan dongla na khueh mai.
2 From the lips of children and infants you have established praise, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place;
4 what is man, that you think of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels. You have crowned him with glory and honor,
6 and you made him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:
Na kutngo te anih na taemrhai sak tih, a kho hmuiah,
7 all sheep and cattle, and also the wild animals,
tu neh saelhung boeih khaw, kohong kah rhamsa khaw,
8 the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
vaan kah vaa neh tuitunli kongtlang kah aka kat tuitunli nga khaw boeih a khueh pah.
9 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.
Aw BOEIPA, kaimih kah boeipa tah na ming khaw diklai pum ah khuet tangkik.
