< Psalms 70 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder.] Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, LORD.
Kumqondisi wokuhlabela. ElikaDavida. Isikhalazo. Phangisa, Oh Nkulunkulu, ungisindise; Oh Thixo, woza masinyane uzongisiza.
2 Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Sengathi labo abafuna impilo yami bangayangiswa basanganiswe; sengathi bonke abafisa ukuwa kwami bangabuyiselwa emuva beyangekile.
3 Let them be turned back because of their shame who say to me, "Aha. Aha."
Sengathi labo abathi kimi, “Ehe! Ehe!” bangafulathela ngenxa yehlazo labo.
4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted."
Kodwa akuthi bonke abakudingayo bathokoze bajabule kuwe; akuthi labo abathanda insindiso yakho bahlale besithi, “uThixo kadunyiswe!”
5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. LORD, do not delay.
Ikanti ngingumyanga ngiyaswela; woza masinyane kimi, Oh Nkulunkulu. Ulusizo lwami lomkhululi wami; Oh Thixo, ungaphuzi.
