< Psalms 48 >
1 [A Song. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
Jabahinake t’Iehovà, vaho rengeñe mb’añ’abo; an-drovan’ Añaharen-tikañe, i vohi’e miavakey.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.
Fanjàka an-toe’e eo, ty hafalea’ ty tane toy, ty vohi’ i Tsiône añ’ila’e avaratse ey, ty rova’ i Mpanjaka hinakinakey.
3 God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.
I Andrianañahare an-kijoli’ey, ty nampandrèndreke t’ie ro fipalirañe.
4 For, look, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
Hehe, nifanontoñe o mpanjakao, nitrao-pionjoñe mb’etoañe,
5 They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed. They hurried away.
Nioni’ iereo; le nilatsa; nangetraketrake, vaho nitriban-day.
6 Trembling took hold of them there, pain, as of a woman in travail.
Namihiñe iareo ty fihondrahondra, ninivonivotse hoe ampela mitsongo.
7 With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.
I tiok’ atiñanañey ty ampivaletrahe’o o lakam-bein-Tarsiseo.
8 As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. (Selah)
Hambañe amy jinanjin-tikañey ty nionin-tika an-drova’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, an-drovan’ Añaharentikañe ao; ee t’ie hajadon’ Añahare tsy ho modo nainai’ey. Selà
9 We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the midst of your temple.
Nitsakorea’ay ty fiferenaiña’o ry Andrianañahare añivo’ i anjomba’o miavakey.
10 As is your name, God, so is your praise to the farthest parts of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness.
Manahake i tahina’oy ry Andrianañahare, ty fandrengeañe Azo, pak’ añ’olo’ ty tane toy; lifo-kavantañañe ty fità’o havana.
11 Let Mount Zion be glad. Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments.
Ampifaleo i vohitse Tsiôney, ampirebeho o anak’ ampela’ Iehodào ty amo fizakà’oo.
12 Walk about Zion, and go around her. Number its towers.
Mañariaria amy Tsiône, ikariokarioho, volilio o fitilik-abo’eo,
13 Consider her defenses. Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation.
Hehe o kijoli’eo, rangao o fitalakesañ’abo’eo; hahatalilia’o i tariratse mandimbey.
14 For this God is our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.
Izay t’i Andrianañahare, Andrianañaharen-tikañey, nainai’e donia. Ie ty hiaolo antikañe pak’an-kavilasy.
