< Psalms 47 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Batabani ba Koola. Mukube mu ngalo mmwe amawanga gonna; muyimuse amaloboozi muyimbire nnyo Katonda ennyimba ez’essanyu;
2 For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.
Mukama Ali Waggulu Ennyo wa ntiisa. Ye Kabaka afuga ensi yonna.
3 He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.
Yatujeemululira abantu, n’atujeemululira amawanga ne tugafuga.
4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)
Yatulondera omugabo gwaffe, Yakobo gw’ayagala mwe yeenyumiririza.
5 God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praise to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises.
Mutendereze Katonda, mumutendereze. Mumutendereze Kabaka waffe, mumutendereze.
7 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.
Kubanga Katonda ye Kabaka w’ensi yonna, mumutendereze ne Zabbuli ey’ettendo.
8 God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.
Katonda afuga amawanga gonna; afuga amawanga ng’atudde ku ntebe ye entukuvu.
9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted.
Abakungu bannaggwanga bakuŋŋanye ng’abantu ba Katonda wa Ibulayimu; kubanga Katonda y’afuga abakulembeze b’ensi. Katonda agulumizibwenga nnyo.
