< Psalms 4 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David.] Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You set me free in my distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
Sungbatannak no umawagak, O Dios ti kinalintegko; ispalennak no agpeggadak. Kaasiannak ken denggem ti kararagko.
2 You sons of man, how long will you shame my honor, love what is worthless, chase after a lie? (Selah)
Dakayo a tattao, aginggana kaano a pagbalbalinenyo a pakaibabainan ti dayawko? Aginggana kaano ti panagayatyo iti awan serserbina ken panangsapulyo kadagiti kinaulbod? (Selah)
3 But know that the LORD works wonders for his godly one; the LORD will hear when I call to him.
Ngem ammoenyo nga ilaslasin ni Yahweh dagiti nadiosan para kenkuana. Denggennakto ni Yahweh no umawagak kenkuana.
4 Be angry, but do not sin. Ponder in your heart, but be at rest on your bed. (Selah)
Agpigergerkayo iti buteng, ngem saankayo nga agbasol! Utobenyo iti pusoyo iti pagiddaanyo ket agulimekkayo. (Selah)
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
Idatonyo dagiti daton iti kinalinteg ken agtalekkayo kenni Yahweh.
6 Many say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD, lift up the light of your face upon us.
Adu ti agkuna, “Siasino ti mangipakita kadakami iti aniaman a nasayaat?” O Yahweh, paraniagem ti lawag ti rupam kadakami.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and wine and oil abound.
Inikkam ti pusok iti ad-adda a kinaragsak ngem iti adda kadagiti dadduma idi immadu ti trigo ken baro nga arakda.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
Gapu iti kinatalna nga agidda ken maturogak, ta sika laeng, O Yahweh, pagbalbalinennak a naan-anay a natalged.
