< Psalms 36 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. By David, the servant of the LORD.] Transgression speaks to the wicked within his heart. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Awurade somfo Dawid dwom. Nkɔmhyɛ bi wɔ me koma mu a efi Onyankopɔn hɔ a ɛfa omumɔyɛfo mmarato ho. Onyankopɔn suro nni wɔn ani so.
2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.
Na ɔno ankasa ani so no ɔdaadaa no ho dodo, nti ɛmma onhu ne bɔne nnyae yɛ.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.
Nʼanom nsɛm yɛ atirimɔden ne nnaadaa; onnim nyansa bio na wayɛ papa.
4 He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He doesn't abhor evil.
Ɔda ne mpa so mpo a ɔbɔ pɔw bɔne; na ogyaa ne ho ma bɔne kwan na ɔmpo nea enye.
5 Your loving kindness, LORD, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Awurade, wʼadɔe du ɔsorosoro wo nokwaredi du wim tɔnn.
6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. LORD, you preserve man and animal.
Wo trenee te sɛ mmepɔw akɛse. Wʼatɛntrenee mu dɔ sɛ po bun. Ao Awurade, wokora nnipa ne mmoa nyinaa so.
7 How precious is your loving kindness, God. The descendants of Adam take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
Wʼadɔe a ɛnsa da no som bo! Nnipa mu akɛse ne nketewa nya guankɔbea wɔ wo ntaban nwini ase.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
Wodi nea abu so wɔ wo fi, woma wɔnom fi wʼanika asuten no mu.
9 For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light.
Wo nkyɛn na nkwa asuti wɔ; wo hann mu na yehu hann.
10 Oh continue your loving kindness to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Kɔ so dɔ wɔn a wonim wo, ma wo trenee ntena wɔn a wɔteɛ, koma mu.
11 Do not let the foot of pride come against me. Do not let the hand of the wicked drive me away.
Mma ɔhantanni nan ntia me anaa omumɔyɛfo nsa nnsunsum me.
12 There evildoers are fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.
Hwɛ sɛnea nnebɔneyɛfo ahwehwe ase, wɔdeda hɔ a wɔrentumi nsɔre bio.
