< Psalms 32 >

1 [By David. A contemplative psalm.] Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Zaburi mar Daudi. Wer mower gi maskil. Ogwedh ngʼat ma kethone owene, kendo ma richone oseruchi.
2 Happy is the one to whom the LORD does not charge with sin, in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Ogwedh ngʼatno ma Jehova Nyasaye ok kwan-ne richone, kendo ma wuondruok onge e chunye.
3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Kane alingʼ to chokena ne ochiyore, kane achur odiechiengʼ duto ma ok aywe.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy on me to my destruction in the heat of summer. (Selah)
Nikech odiechiengʼ gotieno lweti ne pek kuoma; tekrena ne oduono mana kaka timore e liet mar ndalo oro. (Sela)
5 I acknowledged my sin to you. I did not hide my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
Eka ne ahulo richona kendo ne ok apando timbena mag ketho. Ne awacho niya, “Abiro hulo ketho chik maga ne Jehova Nyasaye.” Omiyo ne iweyona ketho mane richona okelo. (Sela)
6 For this, let everyone who is faithful pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
Kuom mano, owinjore ji duto moluoro Nyasaye olami kapod inyalo yudi; adier ka pige madongo otugore, to ok gibi chopo ire,
7 You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. (Selah)
In e kar pondona; ibiro rita e chandruok, kendo ibiro lwora gi wende mag loch. (Sela)
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Abiro chiki kendo abiro puonji e yo monego ilu; adier abiro ngʼadoni rieko kendo abiro rangi maber.
9 Do not be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
Kik ichal gi farese kata gi punda, maonge gi rieko, manyaka chiki mana ka otwe dhoge kendo iywayo gi kamba, nono to ok gibi buti.
10 Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in the LORD.
Lit mochomo joma timbegi richo ngʼeny, to (hera) ma ok rum mar Jehova Nyasaye, olworo ngʼat mogeno kuome.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous. Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
Beduru moil kuom Jehova Nyasaye, kendo beduru mamor, un joma kare; weruru, un duto ma urieru tir gie chunyu!
