Psalms 29

1 [A Psalm by David.] Ascribe to the LORD, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

Принесите Господеви, сынове Божии, принесите Господеви сыны овни, принесите Господеви славу и честь:

2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Worship the LORD in holy array.

принесите Господеви славу имени Его: поклонитеся Господеви во дворе святем Его.

3 The voice of the LORD is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even the LORD on many waters.

Глас Господень на водах, Бог славы возгреме, Господь на водах многих.

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful. The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Глас Господень в крепости, глас Господень в великолепии.

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

Глас Господа, сокрушающаго кедры: и стрыет Господь кедры Ливанския,

6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.

и истнит я яко телца Ливанска: и возлюбленный яко сын единорожь.

7 The voice of the LORD strikes with flashes of lightning.

Глас Господа, пресецающаго пламень огня.

8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

Глас Господа, стрясающаго пустыню: и стрясет Господь пустыню Каддийскую.

9 The voice of the LORD makes the large trees tremble, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory."

Глас Господень, свершающий елени, и открыет дубравы: и в храме Его всякий глаголет славу.

10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.

Господь потоп населяет, и сядет Господь царь в век.

11 The LORD will give strength to his people. The LORD will bless his people with peace.

Господь крепость людем Своим даст, Господь благословит люди Своя миром.
