< Psalms 19 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Dziƒo ɖe Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ɖe go, eye dziŋgɔli le gbeƒã ɖem eƒe asinudɔwo.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Tso ŋkeke yi ŋkeke, wole Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe kafum, eye tso zã yi zã, wole eƒe gãnyenye ɖem fia.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Nuƒoƒo alo gbegbɔgblɔ aɖeke meli si me womese woƒe gbe le o.
4 Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest part of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Woƒe gbe ɖina le anyigba dzi afi sia afi, eye woƒe nyawo dea xexea me ƒe mlɔenu ke gɔ̃ hã. Etu agbadɔ ɖe dziƒowo na ɣe,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
eye wòle abe ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃e le go dom tso eƒe agbadɔ me ene. Ele abe duƒula si le dzidzɔ kpɔm be wòalé eƒe mɔ atsɔ ene.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Ɣe dzena tso dziƒo ƒe go ɖeka dzi, eye wòzɔna yia go kemɛ dzi, naneke meɣla ɖe eƒe dzoxɔxɔ o.
7 The LORD's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
Yehowa ƒe se la de blibo, enaa agbegbɔgbɔ luʋɔ! Yehowa ƒe ɖoɖowo le eteƒe, eye wonana bometsilawo dzea nunya.
8 The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Yehowa ƒe mɔwo dzɔ, wonana dzi kpɔa dzidzɔ. Yehowa ƒe sewo me kɔ, wonana ame dzea nunya.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
Yehowa ƒe sewo me kɔ; wonɔa anyi ɖaa. Yehowa ƒe sewo li ke sesĩe, eye ɖikeke aɖeke mele woƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye ŋu o.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
Woxɔ asi wu sika kple sika nyuitɔ; wovivina wu anyitsi kple anyitsi si woɖe le anyito me.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
Wò sewo wotsɔ xlɔ̃ nu wò dɔlae, elabena viɖe gã geɖe le wo dzi wɔwɔ me.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
Ame kae ate ŋu ade dzesi nu gbegblẽ si wòwɔ? Tsɔ nye vodada siwo metsɔ ɣla la kem.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Ɖe wò dɔla tso lɔlɔ̃nuwɔwɔ ƒe nu vɔ̃wo hã me; womaɖu dzinye akpɔ o. Ekema mazu fɔɖiɖi manɔŋutɔ, eye ŋutinye akɔ tso vodada gã me.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight always, LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
Na be nye numenyawo kple nye dzi ƒe ŋugbledede nadze ŋuwò, O! Yehowa, nye Agakpe kple nye Xɔnametɔ.
