< Psalms 16 >

1 [A Poem by David.] Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.
Neihoibitnin O Pathen: ajeh chu nangahi kinem jing kahi.
2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing."
O Kalhagao, nangman Pakai koma Nanghi ka Pakai nahi nati, thilpha kaneijouse hi nanga kon bou ahi;
3 As for the holy ones who are in the land, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.
Leiset a Pathen lhentumte hi pachat umtah ahiuvin, amahohi keidinga kagal lamkai le kakipa thanop napen ahiuve.
4 Their sorrows will multiply who pay a dowry for another. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.
pathen dangho nung jui a delle ho chualungkhamnao kibejing ding ahi. Amaho thisan a kilhaina gantha a pang kahilouding, apathennu jong kahoupeh loudiu ahi.
5 The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup. You made my lot secure.
Pakai hi kachanding gou le kaphatthei channa khon chu ahi. Pakai in ka ijakai eichintup peh e.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, beautiful is my inheritance.
Nangin neipeh gam jonghi gamphapen ahi, itobanga goupha kidang neipeh hitam!
7 I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
Ijakai eihilla ka Pakai chu keiman thangvah inge; janteng jong le avel in eigeldoh sah jin eihil ji'e.
8 I have put the LORD before me at all times. Because he is at my right hand I will never be upended.
Pakai in eiumpi danhi keiman hetna kanei jinge. Amahi kakomma naichakhatna um ahi ti kahen hijeh chun keima lungthomhao ponge.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.
Hijeh hin keima kalung amongsellin chuleh kipanan kadimmin Pathen kathangvah e.
10 For you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. (Sheol h7585)
Ajeh chu nangin thina mun a neidalha pon natin namitheng te jong lhankhuh a lhahlutsah pon nate. (Sheol h7585)
11 You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
Nangin hinnalampi chu neimusah’in natin, neiumpi jal a kipana le nei umpina tonsot nopna chu nei pen nate.
