< Psalms 131 >

1 [A Song of Ascents. By David.] LORD, my heart isn't haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.
Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala. Lwa Dawudi. Ayi Mukama siri wa malala, so n’amaaso gange tegeegulumiza. Siruubirira bintu binsukiridde newaakubadde ebintu eby’ekitalo ebinsinga.
2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Naye ŋŋonzezza emmeeme yange era ngisiriikirizza ng’omwana bw’asiriikirira nga nnyina amuggye ku mabeere. Omwana avudde ku mabeere nga bw’asiriikirira, n’emmeeme yange bw’eri bw’etyo.
3 Israel, hope in the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore.
Ayi Isirayiri, weesigenga Mukama okuva leero n’okutuusa emirembe gyonna.
