< Psalms 115 >

1 Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be the glory, for your loving kindness and for your faithfulness.
Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему даждь славу о милости Твоей и истине Твоей:
2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God, now?"
да не когда рекут языцы: где есть Бог их?
3 But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
Бог же наш на небеси и на земли, вся елика восхоте, сотвори.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
Идоли язык сребро и злато, дела рук человеческих:
5 They have mouths, but they do not speak. They have eyes, but they do not see.
уста имут, и не возглаголют: очи имут, и не узрят:
6 They have ears, but they do not hear. They have noses, but they do not smell.
ушы имут, и не услышат: ноздри имут, и не обоняют:
7 They have hands, but they do not feel. They have feet, but they do not walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
руце имут, и не осяжут: нозе имут, и не пойдут: не возгласят гортанем своим.
8 Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
Подобни им да будут творящии я и вси надеющиися на ня.
9 Israel, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
Дом Израилев упова на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
10 House of Aaron, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
Дом Ааронь упова на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
Боящиися Господа уповаша на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
12 The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
Господь помянув ны благословил есть нас: благословил есть дом Израилев, благословил есть дом Ааронь,
13 He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.
благословил есть боящыяся Господа, малыя с великими.
14 May the LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
Да приложит Господь на вы, на вы и на сыны вашя:
15 Blessed are you by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
благословени вы Господеви, сотворшему небо и землю.
16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth has he given to the descendants of Adam.
Небо небесе Господеви, землю же даде сыновом человеческим.
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, neither any who go down into silence;
Не мертвии восхвалят Тя, Господи, ниже вси низходящии во ад:
18 But we will bless the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
но мы живии благословим Господа отныне и до века.
