< Proverbs 31 >

1 The words of king Lemuel; the oracle which his mother taught him.

2 "Oh, my son. Oh, son of my womb. Oh, son of my vows.
“O kachapa, kanaobua kon'a kahin kachapa, ipi mong ham, kitepna vanga kahinsa kachapa?
3 Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.

4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for princes to take strong drink,
O Lemuel, lengho dinga judon kiti hi angai ahipoi, vaihom'a pang ho dinga khamna theija lop hi angai ahipoi.
5 lest they drink, and forget the decree, and pervert the justice due to anyone who is afflicted.
Ajeh chu ju adon tenguleh, thu adih'a kitansa le akiseisa chu aheimil diu; chutengleh gim hesoh changte dinga, adihnau chu asuhmil peh diu ahi.
6 Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish; and wine to the bitter in soul:
Manthah nan aphah dingpa chu khamna thei donsah hih beh in, amavang alung hesoh val ho bou ju donsah tan.
7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
Hitichun amaho cheng chu donsah inlang, avaichat nau asuhmil nadiu le agenthei nau tincheng asuhmil nadiu ahi.
8 Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate.
Ama ding kisei thei lou ho dingin seipeh in, chule achung uva thu adih in tanpeh in.
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."
Nakam kah inlang thu adih'in tan in, vaichate le angaichate chunga thu adih'a tanna chu umsah jing in.” ati.
10 Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies.
Numei jipha tah kimu jou ding koiham? Amanu chu sana pah jem jouse sang in jong ahoi joi.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.
Ajipan alungthim akison pi lheh in, ajeh chu amanun ajipa hinkhoa ijakai abulhinsah ding ahi.
12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.
Amanu chun ajipa chunga thilpha chom atongdoh jin, ahinkho sung in ajipa setna atongdoh ngaipoi.
13 She seeks wool and flax, and works eagerly with her hands.
Sa mul le tupat abolpeh jin, pontho tah in pat abol jin ahi.
14 She is like the merchant ships. She brings her bread from afar.
Hitobang numei hi kiveina kong innei tobang ahin, nehle chah jong gamla tah tah a kon'in ahinpo jie.
15 She rises also while it is yet night, gives food to her household, and portions for her servant girls.
Jingkah khovah masangin athouvin ain-sung mite dingin neh le chah agong jin, chule asoh nungah ho nikhat sunga atohdiu agontoh peh jin ahi.
16 She considers a field, and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard.
Amanu achen loumun agaven acho pai jin, amanu khutsoh mong in lengpilei abol in ahi.
17 She girds her waist with strength, and makes her arms strong.
Amanu hin atai akigah in thanei tah in apang jin, aban thahat ajedoh jing in ahi.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp doesn't go out by night.
Amanu hin akiveina a natoh athilbol jouse thil phachom ahi, ti asumil ngaipon; jan khovah kahsen athaomei amit khapoi.
19 She lays her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
Akhut teni le muikung akisip lhop jingin, chule akhut tenin patkong kung atuh jing jinge.
20 She opens her arms to the poor; yes, she extends her hands to the needy.
Migentheite huhnan akhut alhang jingin, chujongleh alhasamte dingin akhut alhang jing in ahi.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 She makes for herself carpets of tapestry. Her clothing is fine linen and purple.

23 Her husband is respected in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.

24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and delivers sashes to the merchant.

25 Strength and dignity are her clothing. She laughs at the time to come.
Thahat le gunchuna hi hiche numeinu dinga hi aponsil tobang ahin, khonunga phat hung lhung ding jong lungkhamna beijin agaldot theijin ahi.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom. Faithful instruction is on her tongue.
Chingthei tah in thu aseijin, khoto tah a mihilna jong aneiyin ahi.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household, and doesn't eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her:

29 "Many women do noble things, but you excel them all."

30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Kijep hoisel nahi lhep lhahna bep ahin, melhoi jong hi chomcha ding bou ahi; hinlah Yahweh Pakai ging jing numei hi pachat dinga lomtah ahi.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands. Let her works praise her in the gates.
