Matthew 1
1 A record of the genealogy of Yeshua Meshikha, the son of Dawid, the son of Avraham.
Libro de la generación de Jesu Cristo, hijo de David, hijo de Abraham.
2 Avraham was the father of Iskhaq, and Iskhaq the father of Yaquv, and Yaquv the father of Yehudah and his brothers,
Abraham engendró a Isaac; e Isaac engendró a Jacob; y Jacob engendró a Júdas, y a sus hermanos;
3 and Yehudah was the father of Partz and Zarakh by Taymar, and Partz was the father of Khesrun, and Khesrun the father of Aram,

10 and Khizaqiya the father of Menashe, and Menashe the father of Ahmun, and Ahmun the father of Yushiya,
Y Ezequías engendró a Manasés; y Manasés engendró a Amón; y Amón engendró a Josías;
11 and Yushiya the father of Yukanya and his brothers, at the time of the exile to Babylon.
Y Josías engendró [a Joacim; y Joacim engendró] a Jeconías y a sus hermanos, en la transmigración de Babilonia;
12 And after the exile to Babylon, Yukanya was the father of Shelatheil, and Shelatheil the father of Zurbabel,

15 and Eliyud the father of Eliazar, and Eliazar the father of Mathan, and Mathan the father of Yaquv,
Y Eliud engendró a Eleazar; y Eleazar engendró a Matan; y Matan engendró a Jacob;
16 and Yaquv the father of Yauseph, the husband of Maryam, from whom was born Yeshua, who is called the Meshikha.
Y Jacob engendró a José marido de María, de la cual nació Jesús, el cual es llamado el Cristo.
17 So all the generations from Avraham to Dawid are fourteen generations; and from Dawid to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the exile to Babylon to the Meshikha, fourteen generations.
De manera que todas las generaciones desde Abraham hasta David, son catorce generaciones; y desde David hasta la transmigración de Babilonia, catorce generaciones; y desde la transmigración de Babilonia hasta Cristo, catorce generaciones.
18 Now the birth of Yeshua Meshikha happened like this. His mother Maryam had been engaged to Yauseph, and before they came together, she was found to be with child from the Rukha d'Qudsha.
Y el nacimiento de Jesu Cristo fue así: Que estando María su madre desposada con José, antes que hubiesen estado juntos, se halló haber concebido del Espíritu Santo.
19 And Yauseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.
Y José su marido, como era justo, y no quisiese exponerla a la infamia, quiso dejarla secretamente.
20 But when he thought about these things, look, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Yauseph, son of Dawid, do not be afraid to take to yourself Maryam, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Rukha d'Qudsha.
Y pensando él en esto, he aquí, que el ángel del Señor le aparece en sueños, diciendo: José, hijo de David, no temas de recibir a María tu mujer; porque lo que en ella es engendrado, del Espíritu Santo es.
21 And she will bring forth a son, and you are to name him Yeshua, for he will save his people from their sins."
Y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Jesús: porque él salvará a su pueblo de sus pecados.
22 Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
Todo esto aconteció para que se cumpliese lo que había hablado el Señor por el profeta, que dijo:
23 "Look, the virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call his name Amanuil;" which is translated, "God with us."
He aquí, una virgen concebirá, y parirá un hijo, y llamarán su nombre Emmanuel, que interpretado quiere decir: Dios con nosotros.
24 And Yauseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;
Y despertado José del sueño; hizo como el ángel del Señor le había mandado, y recibió a su mujer.
25 and had no marital relations with her until she had brought forth a son; and he named him Yeshua.
Y no la conoció hasta que parió a su Hijo primogénito; y llamó su nombre Jesús.
