Matthew 8
1 And when he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.
耶穌從山上下來，有許多群眾跟隨衪。
2 And look, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."
看，有一個癩病人前來叩拜耶穌說：「主！你若願意，就能潔淨我。」
3 And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I am willing. Be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
耶穌就伸手撫摸他說：「我願意，你潔淨了吧 ！」他的癩病立刻就潔淨了。
4 And Yeshua said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Mushe commanded, as a testimony to them."
耶穌對他說：「小心，不要對任何人說！但去叫司祭檢驗你，獻上梅瑟所規定的禮物，給他們當作證據。」
5 And when he came into Kepharnakhum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
耶穌進了葛法翁，有一位百夫長來到衪跟前，求衪說：
6 and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
「主！我的僕人癱瘓了；躺在家裏；疼痛得很厲害。」
7 And he said to him, "I will come and heal him."
耶穌對他說：「我去治好他。」
8 And the centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
百夫長答說：「主！我不堪當你到我舍下來，你只要說一句話，我的僕人就會好的。
9 For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
因為我雖是屬人權下的人，佰是我也巾士兵屬我權下；我對這個說：你去，他就去；對另一個說：你來，他就來；對我的奴僕說：你作這個，他就作。」
10 And when Yeshua heard it, he was amazed, and said to those who followed, "Truly I tell you, I have not found so great a faith with anyone in Israyel.
耶穌聽了，非常詑異，就對跟隨的人說：「我實在告訴你們：在以色列我從未見過一個人，有這樣大的信心。
11 And I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Avraham, and Iskhaq, and Yaquv in the kingdom of heaven,
我給你們說：將有許多人從東方和西，方來，同亞巴郎、依撒各和亞各伯在天國裏一起坐席；
12 but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and grinding of teeth."
本國的子民，反要被驅逐到外邊黑暗裏；那裏要有哀號和切齒。」
13 And Yeshua said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed in that hour.
耶穌遂對百夫長說：「你回去，就照你所信的，給你成就吧！」僕人就在那時痊癒了。
14 And when Yeshua came into Kipha's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever.
耶穌來到伯多碌家裏，看伯多碌的岳母躺著發燒，
15 So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.
就摸了她的手，熱症就從她身上退了。她便起來，伺候衪。
16 And when evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
到了晚上，人們給衪送來了許多附魔的人，衪一句話就驅逐了惡神；治好了一切有的人。
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Eshaya the prophet, saying, "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."
這樣，就應驗了那藉依撒依亞先知所說的話：『衪承受我們的脆弱，擔荷了我你的疾病。』
18 Now when Yeshua saw large crowds around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
耶穌看見許多群眾圍著自己，就吩咐往對岸去。
19 Then a scribe came, and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
有一位經師前來，對衪說：「師傅，你不論往那裏去，我要跟隨你。」
20 And Yeshua said to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head."
耶穌給他說：「狐狸有穴，天上飛鳥有巢，但是人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」
21 And another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
門徒中有一個對衪說：「主，請許我先去埋葬我的父親。」
22 But Yeshua said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
耶穌對他說：「你跟隨我罷！任憑死人去埋葬死人！」
23 And when he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
耶穌上了船，他的門徒跟隨著牠。
24 And look, a violent storm came up on the lake, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.
忽然海裏起了大震盪，以致那船為浪所掩蓋，耶穌卻睡著了。
25 They came to him, and woke him up, saying, "Save us, Lord. We are dying."
他們遂前來喚醒牠說：「主！救命啊！我們要喪亡了。」
26 And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the lake, and there was a great calm.
耶穌對他捫說：「小信德的人啊！你們為什麼膽怯﹖」就起來叱責風和海，遂大為平靜。
27 And the men were amazed, saying, "What kind of person is this, that even the wind and the lake obey him?"
那些人驚訝說：「這是怎麼的一個人呢﹖竟連風和海也聽從牠！」
28 And when he came to the other side, into the country of the Gedraye, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
耶穌來到對岸加達辣人的地方，有兩個附魔的人從墳墓裏走出，向牠走來；他們異常兇猛，以致沒有人能從那條路上經過。
29 And look, they shouted, saying, "What do we have to do with you, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
他門喊說：「天主子，我們與你有什麼相干﹖時期還沒有到，你就來這裏苦害我捫嗎﹖」
30 Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
離他們很遠，有一大群豬正在牧放。
31 And the demons begged him, saying, "If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs."
魔鬼懇求耶穌說：「你若驅逐我捫，就趕我們進入豬群吧！」
32 And he said to them, "Go." And they came out, and went into the pigs, and look, the whole herd rushed down the cliff into the lake, and died in the water.
耶穌對他們說：「去吧！」魔鬼就出來進入豬內；忽然全群豬從山崖上直衝入海，死在水裹。
33 And those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
放豬的便逃走，來到城裏，把這一切和附魔人的事都報告了。
34 And look, all the city came out to meet Yeshua. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.
全城的人就出來會見耶穌，一見了衪，就求衪離開他們的境界。
