Mark 15
1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Yeshua, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Por la mañana, los jefes de los sacerdotes, con los ancianos, los escribas y todo el consejo, celebraron una consulta, ataron a Jesús, lo llevaron y lo entregaron a Pilato.
2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."
Pilato le preguntó: “¿Eres tú el Rey de los judíos?” Respondió: “Eso dices tú”.
3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
Los jefes de los sacerdotes le acusaron de muchas cosas.
4 Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you."
Pilato volvió a preguntarle: “¿No tienes respuesta? Mira cuántas cosas declaran contra ti”.
5 But Yeshua made no further answer, and Pilate was amazed.
Pero Jesús no respondió más, por lo que Pilato se maravilló.
6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.
En la fiesta solía liberar a un prisionero, cualquiera que pidiesen.
7 There was one called Bar-Aba, bound with those who had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
Había uno llamado Barrabás, atado con sus compañeros de insurrección, hombres que en la insurrección habían cometido un asesinato.
8 And the crowd went up and began to ask him to do for them according to his custom.
La multitud, gritando, comenzó a pedirle que hiciera lo que siempre hacía por ellos.
9 Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
Pilato les respondió diciendo: “¿Queréis que os suelte al Rey de los judíos?”
10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
Porque se dio cuenta de que por envidia los jefes de los sacerdotes lo habían entregado.
11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that he should release Bar-Aba to them instead.
Pero los jefes de los sacerdotes incitaron a la multitud para que les soltara a Barrabás en su lugar.
12 Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
Pilato volvió a preguntarles: “¿Qué debo hacer, pues, con el que llamáis Rey de los judíos?”
13 They shouted again, "Crucify him."
Volvieron a gritar: “¡Crucifícalo!”
14 Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him."
Pilato les dijo: “¿Qué mal ha hecho?” Pero ellos gritaron con fuerza: “¡Crucifícalo!”
15 Pilate, wishing to please the crowd, released Bar-Aba to them, and handed over Yeshua, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
Pilato, queriendo complacer a la multitud, les soltó a Barrabás y entregó a Jesús, después de haberlo azotado, para que fuera crucificado.
16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
Los soldados lo llevaron dentro del patio, que es el pretorio, y convocaron a toda la cohorte.
17 They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
Lo vistieron de púrpura y le pusieron una corona de espinas.
18 They began to salute him, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
Comenzaron a saludarlo: “¡Salve, rey de los judíos!”
19 They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
Le golpearon la cabeza con una caña, le escupieron y, doblando las rodillas, le rindieron homenaje.
20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
Cuando se burlaron de él, le quitaron el manto de púrpura y le pusieron sus propios vestidos. Lo llevaron para crucificarlo.
21 And they forced one passing by, Shimon of Qurinaya, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
Obligaron a uno que pasaba por allí, procedente del campo, Simón de Cirene, padre de Alejandro y de Rufo, a ir con ellos para que llevara su cruz.
22 And they brought him to the place called Gagulta, which is translated, "The place of a skull."
Le llevaron al lugar llamado Gólgota, que es, según la interpretación, “El lugar de la calavera”.
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
Le ofrecieron de beber vino mezclado con mirra, pero no lo tomó.
24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
Al crucificarlo, se repartieron sus vestidos, echando a suertes lo que debía tomar cada uno.
25 It was nine in the morning, and they crucified him.
Era la hora tercera cuando lo crucificaron.
26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
Sobre él estaba escrita la superposición de su acusación: “EL REY DE LOS JUDÍOS”.
27 With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
Con él crucificaron a dos ladrones, uno a su derecha y otro a su izquierda.
28 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And he was numbered with transgressors."
Se cumplió la Escritura que dice: “Fue contado con los transgresores”.
29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha. You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
Los que pasaban por allí le blasfemaban, moviendo la cabeza y diciendo: “¡Ja! Tú que destruyes el templo y lo construyes en tres días,
30 save yourself and come down from the cross."
sálvate a ti mismo y baja de la cruz”.
31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He cannot save himself.
Asimismo, también los jefes de los sacerdotes, burlándose entre ellos con los escribas, decían: “Ha salvado a otros. No puede salvarse a sí mismo.
32 Let the Meshikha, the King of Israyel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
Que baje ahora de la cruz el Cristo, el Rey de Israel, para que le veamos y le creamos.” Los que estaban crucificados con él también le insultaban.
33 Now when it was noon, there was darkness over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
Cuando llegó la hora sexta, hubo oscuridad sobre toda la tierra hasta la hora novena.
34 Then at three in the afternoon Yeshua called out with a loud voice, saying, "Elohi, Elohi, lema shabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
A la hora novena, Jesús clamó a gran voz, diciendo: “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”, que es, interpretado, “Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has abandonado?”
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Look, he is calling for Eliya."
Algunos de los que estaban allí, al oírlo, dijeron: “He aquí que llama a Elías”.
36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let us see whether Eliya comes to take him down."
Uno corrió y, llenando una esponja de vinagre, la puso en una caña y se la dio a beber, diciendo: “Déjalo. A ver si viene Elías a bajarlo”.
37 Yeshua gave a loud cry, and gave up the spirit.
Jesús gritó con fuerza y entregó el espíritu.
38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
El velo del templo se rasgó en dos desde arriba hasta abajo.
39 And when the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God."
Cuando el centurión, que estaba frente a él, vio que gritaba así y exhalaba, dijo: “¡Verdaderamente este hombre era el Hijo de Dios!”
40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Maryam Magdelaitha, and Maryam the mother of Yaquv the younger and of Yusi, and Shalom;
Había también mujeres que miraban desde lejos, entre las cuales estaban María Magdalena y María la madre de Santiago el Menor y de José, y Salomé;
41 who, when he was in Galila, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Urishlim.
las cuales, estando él en Galilea, le seguían y le servían; y otras muchas que subieron con él a Jerusalén.
42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
Cuando llegó la noche, por ser el día de la preparación, es decir, la víspera del sábado,
43 Yauseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the Kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Yeshua.
vino José de Arimatea, miembro destacado del consejo, que también buscaba el Reino de Dios. Entró audazmente a Pilato y pidió el cuerpo de Jesús.
44 Pilate was surprised that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
Pilato se sorprendió al oír que ya estaba muerto; y llamando al centurión, le preguntó si llevaba mucho tiempo muerto.
45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Yauseph.
Al enterarse por el centurión, concedió el cuerpo a José.
46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and placed him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
Compró un lienzo y, bajándolo, lo envolvió en el lienzo y lo depositó en un sepulcro excavado en una roca. Hizo rodar una piedra contra la puerta del sepulcro.
47 Maryam of Magdelaitha and Maryam, the mother of Yusi, saw where he was placed.
María Magdalena y María, la madre de Josés, vieron dónde estaba depositado.
