Mark 15
1 Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Yeshua, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
અથ પ્રભાતે સતિ પ્રધાનયાજકાઃ પ્રાઞ્ચ ઉપાધ્યાયાઃ સર્વ્વે મન્ત્રિણશ્ચ સભાં કૃત્વા યીશું બન્ધયિત્વ પીલાતાખ્યસ્ય દેશાધિપતેઃ સવિધં નીત્વા સમર્પયામાસુઃ|
2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."
તદા પીલાતસ્તં પૃષ્ટવાન્ ત્વં કિં યિહૂદીયલોકાનાં રાજા? તતઃ સ પ્રત્યુક્તવાન્ સત્યં વદસિ|
3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
અપરં પ્રધાનયાજકાસ્તસ્ય બહુષુ વાક્યેષુ દોષમારોપયાઞ્ચક્રુઃ કિન્તુ સ કિમપિ ન પ્રત્યુવાચ|
4 Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you."
તદાનીં પીલાતસ્તં પુનઃ પપ્રચ્છ ત્વં કિં નોત્તરયસિ? પશ્યૈતે ત્વદ્વિરુદ્ધં કતિષુ સાધ્યેષુ સાક્ષં દદતિ|
5 But Yeshua made no further answer, and Pilate was amazed.
કન્તુ યીશુસ્તદાપિ નોત્તરં દદૌ તતઃ પીલાત આશ્ચર્ય્યં જગામ|
6 Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.
અપરઞ્ચ કારાબદ્ધે કસ્તિંશ્ચિત્ જને તન્મહોત્સવકાલે લોકૈ ર્યાચિતે દેશાધિપતિસ્તં મોચયતિ|
7 There was one called Bar-Aba, bound with those who had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
યે ચ પૂર્વ્વમુપપ્લવમકાર્ષુરુપપ્લવે વધમપિ કૃતવન્તસ્તેષાં મધ્યે તદાનોં બરબ્બાનામક એકો બદ્ધ આસીત્|
8 And the crowd went up and began to ask him to do for them according to his custom.
અતો હેતોઃ પૂર્વ્વાપરીયાં રીતિકથાં કથયિત્વા લોકા ઉચ્ચૈરુવન્તઃ પીલાતસ્ય સમક્ષં નિવેદયામાસુઃ|
9 Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
તદા પીલાતસ્તાનાચખ્યૌ તર્હિ કિં યિહૂદીયાનાં રાજાનં મોચયિષ્યામિ? યુષ્માભિઃ કિમિષ્યતે?
10 For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
યતઃ પ્રધાનયાજકા ઈર્ષ્યાત એવ યીશું સમાર્પયન્નિતિ સ વિવેદ|
11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, that he should release Bar-Aba to them instead.
કિન્તુ યથા બરબ્બાં મોચયતિ તથા પ્રાર્થયિતું પ્રધાનયાજકા લોકાન્ પ્રવર્ત્તયામાસુઃ|
12 Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
અથ પીલાતઃ પુનઃ પૃષ્ટવાન્ તર્હિ યં યિહૂદીયાનાં રાજેતિ વદથ તસ્ય કિં કરિષ્યામિ યુષ્માભિઃ કિમિષ્યતે?
13 They shouted again, "Crucify him."
તદા તે પુનરપિ પ્રોચ્ચૈઃ પ્રોચુસ્તં ક્રુશે વેધય|
14 Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him."
તસ્માત્ પીલાતઃ કથિતવાન્ કુતઃ? સ કિં કુકર્મ્મ કૃતવાન્? કિન્તુ તે પુનશ્ચ રુવન્તો વ્યાજહ્રુસ્તં ક્રુશે વેધય|
15 Pilate, wishing to please the crowd, released Bar-Aba to them, and handed over Yeshua, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
તદા પીલાતઃ સર્વ્વાલ્લોકાન્ તોષયિતુમિચ્છન્ બરબ્બાં મોચયિત્વા યીશું કશાભિઃ પ્રહૃત્ય ક્રુશે વેદ્ધું તં સમર્પયામ્બભૂવ|
16 The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
અનન્તરં સૈન્યગણોઽટ્ટાલિકામ્ અર્થાદ્ અધિપતે ર્ગૃહં યીશું નીત્વા સેનાનિવહં સમાહુયત્|
17 They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
પશ્ચાત્ તે તં ધૂમલવર્ણવસ્ત્રં પરિધાપ્ય કણ્ટકમુકુટં રચયિત્વા શિરસિ સમારોપ્ય
18 They began to salute him, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
હે યિહૂદીયાનાં રાજન્ નમસ્કાર ઇત્યુક્ત્વા તં નમસ્કર્ત્તામારેભિરે|
19 They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
તસ્યોત્તમાઙ્ગે વેત્રાઘાતં ચક્રુસ્તદ્ગાત્રે નિષ્ઠીવઞ્ચ નિચિક્ષિપુઃ, તથા તસ્ય સમ્મુખે જાનુપાતં પ્રણોમુઃ
20 When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
ઇત્થમુપહસ્ય ધૂમ્રવર્ણવસ્ત્રમ્ ઉત્તાર્ય્ય તસ્ય વસ્ત્રં તં પર્ય્યધાપયન્ ક્રુશે વેદ્ધું બહિર્નિન્યુશ્ચ|
21 And they forced one passing by, Shimon of Qurinaya, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
તતઃ પરં સેકન્દરસ્ય રુફસ્ય ચ પિતા શિમોન્નામા કુરીણીયલોક એકઃ કુતશ્ચિદ્ ગ્રામાદેત્ય પથિ યાતિ તં તે યીશોઃ ક્રુશં વોઢું બલાદ્ દધ્નુઃ|
22 And they brought him to the place called Gagulta, which is translated, "The place of a skull."
અથ ગુલ્ગલ્તા અર્થાત્ શિરઃકપાલનામકં સ્થાનં યીશુમાનીય
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
તે ગન્ધરસમિશ્રિતં દ્રાક્ષારસં પાતું તસ્મૈ દદુઃ કિન્તુ સ ન જગ્રાહ|
24 Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
તસ્મિન્ ક્રુશે વિદ્ધે સતિ તેષામેકૈકશઃ કિં પ્રાપ્સ્યતીતિ નિર્ણયાય
25 It was nine in the morning, and they crucified him.
તસ્ય પરિધેયાનાં વિભાગાર્થં ગુટિકાપાતં ચક્રુઃ|
26 The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
અપરમ્ એષ યિહૂદીયાનાં રાજેતિ લિખિતં દોષપત્રં તસ્ય શિરઊર્દ્વ્વમ્ આરોપયાઞ્ચક્રુઃ|
27 With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
તસ્ય વામદક્ષિણયો ર્દ્વૌ ચૌરૌ ક્રુશયો ર્વિવિધાતે|
28 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And he was numbered with transgressors."
તેનૈવ "અપરાધિજનૈઃ સાર્દ્ધં સ ગણિતો ભવિષ્યતિ," ઇતિ શાસ્ત્રોક્તં વચનં સિદ્ધમભૂત|
29 Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha. You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
અનન્તરં માર્ગે યે યે લોકા ગમનાગમને ચક્રુસ્તે સર્વ્વ એવ શિરાંસ્યાન્દોલ્ય નિન્દન્તો જગદુઃ, રે મન્દિરનાશક રે દિનત્રયમધ્યે તન્નિર્મ્માયક,
30 save yourself and come down from the cross."
અધુનાત્માનમ્ અવિત્વા ક્રુશાદવરોહ|
31 Likewise, also the chief priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He cannot save himself.
કિઞ્ચ પ્રધાનયાજકા અધ્યાપકાશ્ચ તદ્વત્ તિરસ્કૃત્ય પરસ્પરં ચચક્ષિરે એષ પરાનાવત્ કિન્તુ સ્વમવિતું ન શક્નોતિ|
32 Let the Meshikha, the King of Israyel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
યદીસ્રાયેલો રાજાભિષિક્તસ્ત્રાતા ભવતિ તર્હ્યધુનૈન ક્રુશાદવરોહતુ વયં તદ્ દૃષ્ટ્વા વિશ્વસિષ્યામઃ; કિઞ્ચ યૌ લોકૌ તેન સાર્દ્ધં ક્રુશે ઽવિધ્યેતાં તાવપિ તં નિર્ભર્ત્સયામાસતુઃ|
33 Now when it was noon, there was darkness over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
અથ દ્વિતીયયામાત્ તૃતીયયામં યાવત્ સર્વ્વો દેશઃ સાન્ધકારોભૂત્|
34 Then at three in the afternoon Yeshua called out with a loud voice, saying, "Elohi, Elohi, lema shabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
તતસ્તૃતીયપ્રહરે યીશુરુચ્ચૈરવદત્ એલી એલી લામા શિવક્તની અર્થાદ્ "હે મદીશ મદીશ ત્વં પર્ય્યત્યાક્ષીઃ કુતો હિ માં?"
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Look, he is calling for Eliya."
તદા સમીપસ્થલોકાનાં કેચિત્ તદ્વાક્યં નિશમ્યાચખ્યુઃ પશ્યૈષ એલિયમ્ આહૂયતિ|
36 One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let us see whether Eliya comes to take him down."
તત એકો જનો ધાવિત્વાગત્ય સ્પઞ્જે ઽમ્લરસં પૂરયિત્વા તં નડાગ્રે નિધાય પાતું તસ્મૈ દત્ત્વાવદત્ તિષ્ઠ એલિય એનમવરોહયિતુમ્ એતિ ન વેતિ પશ્યામિ|
37 Yeshua gave a loud cry, and gave up the spirit.
અથ યીશુરુચ્ચૈઃ સમાહૂય પ્રાણાન્ જહૌ|
38 The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
તદા મન્દિરસ્ય જવનિકોર્દ્વ્વાદધઃર્ય્યન્તા વિદીર્ણા દ્વિખણ્ડાભૂત્|
39 And when the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God."
કિઞ્ચ ઇત્થમુચ્ચૈરાહૂય પ્રાણાન્ ત્યજન્તં તં દૃષ્દ્વા તદ્રક્ષણાય નિયુક્તો યઃ સેનાપતિરાસીત્ સોવદત્ નરોયમ્ ઈશ્વરપુત્ર ઇતિ સત્યમ્|
40 There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Maryam Magdelaitha, and Maryam the mother of Yaquv the younger and of Yusi, and Shalom;
તદાનીં મગ્દલીની મરિસમ્ કનિષ્ઠયાકૂબો યોસેશ્ચ માતાન્યમરિયમ્ શાલોમી ચ યાઃ સ્ત્રિયો
41 who, when he was in Galila, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Urishlim.
ગાલીલ્પ્રદેશે યીશું સેવિત્વા તદનુગામિન્યો જાતા ઇમાસ્તદન્યાશ્ચ યા અનેકા નાર્યો યીશુના સાર્દ્ધં યિરૂશાલમમાયાતાસ્તાશ્ચ દૂરાત્ તાનિ દદૃશુઃ|
42 When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
અથાસાદનદિનસ્યાર્થાદ્ વિશ્રામવારાત્ પૂર્વ્વદિનસ્ય સાયંકાલ આગત
43 Yauseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the Kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Yeshua.
ઈશ્વરરાજ્યાપેક્ષ્યરિમથીયયૂષફનામા માન્યમન્ત્રી સમેત્ય પીલાતસવિધં નિર્ભયો ગત્વા યીશોર્દેહં યયાચે|
44 Pilate was surprised that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
કિન્તુ સ ઇદાનીં મૃતઃ પીલાત ઇત્યસમ્ભવં મત્વા શતસેનાપતિમાહૂય સ કદા મૃત ઇતિ પપ્રચ્છ|
45 When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Yauseph.
શતસેમનાપતિમુખાત્ તજ્જ્ઞાત્વા યૂષફે યીશોર્દેહં દદૌ|
46 He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and placed him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
પશ્ચાત્ સ સૂક્ષ્મં વાસઃ ક્રીત્વા યીશોઃ કાયમવરોહ્ય તેન વાસસા વેષ્ટાયિત્વા ગિરૌ ખાતશ્મશાને સ્થાપિતવાન્ પાષાણં લોઠયિત્વા દ્વારિ નિદધે|
47 Maryam of Magdelaitha and Maryam, the mother of Yusi, saw where he was placed.
કિન્તુ યત્ર સોસ્થાપ્યત તત મગ્દલીની મરિયમ્ યોસિમાતૃમરિયમ્ ચ દદૃશતૃઃ|
