Luke 20
1 It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the chief priests and scribes came to him with the elders.
੧ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਇਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਹੈਕਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ।
2 They asked him, "Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?"
੨ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਜਾ ਉਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ?
3 He answered them, "I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
੩ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ।
4 the baptism of Yukhanan, was it from heaven, or from man?"
੪ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦਾ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ?
5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why did you not believe him?'
੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਜੇ ਆਖੀਏ ਸਵਰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਹੇਗਾ, ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ?
6 But if we say, 'From man,' all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that Yukhanan was a prophet."
੬ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਖੀਏ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਥਰਾਓ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨਬੀ ਸੀ।
7 They answered that they did not know where it was from.
੭ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਸੀ।
8 Yeshua said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
੮ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
9 He began to tell the people this parable. "A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went on a journey for a long time.
੯ਤਦ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸੁਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਸੌਂਪ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਦੇਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰੁੱਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਬਾਗ਼ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣ, ਪਰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
੧੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਨੌਕਰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਕੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
੧੨ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਖ਼ਮੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
13 The lord of the vineyard said, 'What am I to do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that they will respect him.'
੧੩ਤਦ ਖੇਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਾਗਾਂ, ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨ।
14 "But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
੧੪ਪਰ ਜਦ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੇ, ਵਾਰਿਸ ਇਹੋ ਹੈ, ਆਓ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
੧੫ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਹੁਣ ਬਾਗ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ?
16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be."
੧੬ਉਹ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ!
17 But he looked at them, and said, "Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, this one was made the cornerstone?'
੧੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਕੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਮਿਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੱਦਿਆ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him."
੧੮ਹਰੇਕ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ ਸੋ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।
19 The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
੧੯ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਪਾਉਣ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਪਟ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ ਫੜਨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਕਮ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨ।
21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and are not partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
੨੧ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਠੀਕ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹੋ।
22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
੨੨ਕੀ ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ?
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them,
੨੩ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਤਰਾਈ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ
24 "Show me a denura. Whose image and inscription are on it?" They answered, "Caesar's."
੨੪ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਵਿਖਾਉ। ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਤ ਹੈ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੈਸਰ ਦੀ।
25 He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
੨੫ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੈਸਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਉ।
26 They weren't able to trap him in his words before the people. And amazed at his answer, they fell silent.
੨੬ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ।
27 Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
੨੭ਤਦ ਸਦੂਕੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ,
28 They asked him, "Teacher, Mushe wrote to us that if a man's brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
੨੮ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਲਈ ਵੰਸ਼ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰੇ।
29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
੨੯ਸੋ ਸੱਤ ਭਰਾ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਭਰਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
30 The second and
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਿਆ।
31 the third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਮਰ ਗਏ।
32 Afterward the woman also died.
੩੨ਇਸ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਵੀ ਮਰ ਗਈ।
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife."
੩੩ਸੋ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਨੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਸੀ?
34 Yeshua said to them, "The people of this age marry and are given to someone to marry. (aiōn g165)
੩੪ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਜੁੱਗ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। (aiōn g165)
35 But those who are regarded as worthy of a place in that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given to someone to marry. (aiōn g165)
੩੫ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਜੁੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ਗਿਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। (aiōn g165)
36 For they cannot die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
੩੬ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਮਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ।
37 But that the dead are raised, even Mushe showed at the bush, when he called the Lord 'The God of Avraham, the God of Iskhaq, and the God of Yaquv.'
੩੭ਪਰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਜਿਵਾਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਝਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him."
੩੮ਪਰ ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
39 Some of the scribes answered, "Teacher, you speak well."
੩੯ਤਦ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿੰਨਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
40 They did not dare to ask him any more questions.
੪੦ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਜੋ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੁੱਛਣ।
41 He said to them, "Why do they say that the Meshikha is Dawid's son?
੪੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ?
42 Dawid himself says in the scroll of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,
੪੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਦਾਊਦ ਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪੇ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੈਠ,
43 until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'
੪੩ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਚੌਂਕੀ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ।
44 "Dawid therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?"
੪੪ਸੋ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋਇਆ?
45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
੪੫ਜਦ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਸੁਣ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
46 "Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
੪੬ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨੇ ਫਿਰਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਲਾਮ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਕੁਰਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਵਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
47 who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation."
੪੭ਉਹ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਲਈ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ।
