< Luke 20 >

1 It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the chief priests and scribes came to him with the elders.
Ikhava ikhigono khimo, U Yesu alikhumayisya avanu mtembile nu khulumbilila elimenyu, avatwa avavakha na vamayisi ava dagilo vakhadutela paninie na vagogolo.
2 They asked him, "Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?"
Vakhanchova, valikhumbula, 'Utuvule khumakha agani vuvu mbaimbombo inchi? Veni akhupile uvuvakha uvu?”
3 He answered them, "I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
Umwene akhanda, akhavavula, 'Nayune leno nikhuvavuncha ikhulongu. Numbule
4 the baptism of Yukhanan, was it from heaven, or from man?"
Yohani. Lwakhumile kukhiya au khuvanu? '
5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why did you not believe him?'
Valikhukhanikhana vavo khwavavo, valikhuta,'Tunganchove, 'Lwakhumile khukyanya, ikhutuvuncha khekhi samulekhwi dekha?'
6 But if we say, 'From man,' all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that Yukhanan was a prophet."
Pwu tuganchova; lwakhumile khu vanu; avanu vaniapa vikhutova na magaga, ulwakhuva voni vikhwedekha ukha U Yohana ale Nsug'wa.'
7 They answered that they did not know where it was from.
Pwu, vakhanda ukhuta savalumayile ukhwulukhumile.
8 Yeshua said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
U Yesu akhavavula, '“Une sani khuvavula umwe ukha khumakha gani nivomba inchi.”
9 He began to tell the people this parable. "A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went on a journey for a long time.
Akhavavula avanu eikhihwani ekhi, “Umunu yumo avyalile emizabibu, mukhyalo akhalila khuvanu avaya fyalo ifya mizabibu, pwa akhaluta ikhilunga ikhinge khusekhi untali.
10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
Khusekhi ugwa vekluve, akhasukha umbombi khuvayafyalo ifya mizabibu, ukhuta vampe iligavo lya sekhe mugunda ugwa mizabibu. Pwu awayafyalo ifya mizabibu vakhabela, vakhakilivula amavokho gene.
11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
Akhasuha umbombi uyuge ave vakhantova, nukhumbombela fivi, vakhakhilivula amavokho gene.
12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
Akhasuha uvadatu mwope vakha ndemancha nukhutaga khunchi.
13 The lord of the vineyard said, 'What am I to do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that they will respect him.'
Unyagunda akhata, nigakha ndakhikhi? Nikhusukha uswambago ugane. Opange yuvikhudwada. '
14 "But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
Pwu avanyafyalo ifya mizabibu vavilevikhumbona, valikhukhanihana vavo khwa vavo valikhunchova, 'uyu vinyavuhale. Tumbode, uvukhale wa mwene vuve wetu. '
15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
Vakhag'umia khinji khugunda ugwa mizabibu nu khumbuda. Pwu unyagunda ikhuvagakha ndeti?
16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be."
Ikhwincha khukhuvabuda uyafya fyalo ifya mizabibu nukhuvapa ugunda ukhwa avange. “Avene vavilevapulikhe ewo, vakhata, 'Unguluve abelie'
17 But he looked at them, and said, "Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, this one was made the cornerstone?'
Pwu U Yesu akhvalola akhata, “Uvusimbe uvu vulienuvufumbue vuki? 'Iliw ilyovobabelile avanyanyakhunchenga, livele liwe lya palukhanchi?
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him."
Khila munu uveigwa pakhyanya paliwe ilyo, idenyekha fipande fipande. Ulauveyakhiva likhugwila, likhundemancha.'
19 The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
Avasimbi na vatekhenchi valikhulonda injila iyakhumwibata usekhi gugwa, valumanyile ukhuta anchovile ekhihwani khuvene. Pwuvalikhudwada avanu.
20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
Vakhendola khukhisa, vakhasuha avapelelesi avalikhwivona ukhuta vogolofu, valikhulonda inogwa ukhuhuma mumbulumbileli vwa mwene, pwu vamwibata vakhelekhe khu vavakha
21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and are not partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
Avene vakhambunha, vakhata, “imanyisi tulumayile ukhuta winhova nukhuumasya uwayelweli savusogiwa nu munu uviavenchaga, uve vumanyisya uwayelweli khunjila iya Nguluve.
22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
Ufwe yenogile ukhukhomba isongo khwa Kaisari, au vudesi?”
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them,
U Yesu akhagamanya amasago gavene, akhavavula,
24 "Show me a denura. Whose image and inscription are on it?" They answered, "Caesar's."
“Mumbonesye edinari. Esura nuvusimbe wani pakhyo?” Vakhanchova, 'Wa Kaisaria.”
25 He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
Umwene akhaakhavavula pwumupenchage UKaisari ifya mwene nu Nguluve mpenchage ifya Nguluve.
26 They weren't able to trap him in his words before the people. And amazed at his answer, they fell silent.
Avasimbi na vatekhenchi vakhalemwa ukhubencha akhyoanchovile khuvulugolo khuvanu. Valikhuswiga anyadile ya mwene savakhanchova khinu.
27 Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
Pwu avamasadukhayo vakhadutela, avachoraga ukhuta khusikhwuli ukhuchukha,
28 They asked him, "Teacher, Mushe wrote to us that if a man's brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
Vakhambuncha, vakhata, “Imanyisi, U Mose atusimbile ukhuta umunu agafyilelwe nulukhololwa unyadala unchila mwana yenogiwa ukhutola udala uvalukhololwe nukhuhole nawe.
29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
Khwale na vanamunu saba uvakhwanda atolile, akhafwa khetandekha umwana,
30 The second and
Nayuvavili mwope.
31 the third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
Uvadatu akhantola vulevule uvasaba sandekhe umwana akhafwa.
32 Afterward the woman also died.
Usikhi wwukhulutile undala mwope akhafwa.
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife."
Pwu khuvunchukha ivadala vani? Ulwakhuva voni saba vatolile. '
34 Yeshua said to them, "The people of this age marry and are given to someone to marry. (aiōn g165)
U Yesu akhavavula, “Avana vakhiluga ekhi vitola nukhutuliwa. (aiōn g165)
35 But those who are regarded as worthy of a place in that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given to someone to marry. (aiōn g165)
Avanogelanile ukhwambilila uvuchukha wavafwile nukhwigela khuludeva lwa khukhya savitola wala ukhutoliwa. (aiōn g165)
36 For they cannot die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
Savifwa khavili, ulwakhuva vakha wanine ndavasug'wa na vanava Nguluve uvana va vunchukha.
37 But that the dead are raised, even Mushe showed at the bush, when he called the Lord 'The God of Avraham, the God of Iskhaq, and the God of Yaquv.'
Pwu avafwile vinchusiwa, nu Mose avanisye pakhisitu, pala pwuamwelagile Untwa vi Nguluve va Abrahamu nu Nguluve va Isakha nu Nguluve va Yakobo.
38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him."
Lino, umwene sio ve Nguluve vavafwile, ila avumi, ulwakhuva voni vitama khumwene.”
39 Some of the scribes answered, "Teacher, you speak well."
Avag'e avamanyisi vandagilo vakha mwanda, 'Imanyisi, uchovile vononu. '
40 They did not dare to ask him any more questions.
Vakhadwada ukhumbuncha amameyu agange.
41 He said to them, "Why do they say that the Meshikha is Dawid's son?
U Yesu akhavavula, “Khekhi avanu vita Kreste mwana va Ndaveti?
42 Dawid himself says in the scroll of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,
Daudi anasema mwenyewe katika zaburi: U Dada ambulile Dada vango:
43 until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'
Tama khukhivoko ikhyando, Ipakha nivavekhe avavivi vakho pasi pamalunde gakho. '
44 "Dawid therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?"
U Ndaveti akhamwelaga Kreste 'Daada,' yivandakhikhi mwana va Ndaveti?”
45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
Avanu voni vavilevikhupulekhencha akhavavula avakhongi va mwene, '
46 "Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
Mwilolelage na vasimbi, avinogwa ukhugenda vafwalile imienda imitali, vinogwa ukhusamusiwa khusokhoni nukhutema ifigoda ifitali mtembile, na amamenyu akhakhisa.
47 who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation."
Avene pwa vilya khuyumba encha vafwele, vigaha ukhuta vikhwesaya ulwesayo ulutali. Ava valaambilela uvukhegi uvuvakha fincho. '
