< Luke 15 >
1 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.
Tsopano amisonkho ndi “ochimwa” ankasonkhana kudzamvera mawu ake.
2 The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, "This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them."
Koma Afarisi ndi aphunzitsi amalamulo amangʼungʼudza nati, “Munthu uyu amalandira ochimwa ndi kudya nawo.”
3 He told them this parable.
Ndipo Yesu anawawuza fanizo ili:
4 "Which one of you, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, would not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?
“Tiyerekeze kuti mmodzi mwa inu ali ndi nkhosa 100 ndipo imodzi yatayika, kodi iye sangasiye 99 zija kutchire ndi kupita kukafuna yotayikayo mpaka atayipeza?
5 When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Ndipo iye akayipeza, amayinyamula pa phewa lake mwachimwemwe
6 When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.'
ndi kupita kwawo. Kenaka amayitana anzake ndi anansi pamodzi, ndi kuti, ‘Kondwerani nane; ine ndayipeza nkhosa yanga yotayika ija.’
7 I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.
Ine ndikukuwuzani kuti momwemonso kudzakhala chikondwerero chachikulu kumwamba chifukwa cha wochimwa mmodzi amene watembenuka mtima kusiyana ndi anthu olungama 99 amene ali otembenuka mtima kale.”
8 Or what woman, if she had ten zueza coins, if she lost one zueza coin, would not light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it?
“Kapena tiyeni tifanizire mayi amene anali ndi ndalama zasiliva khumi ndipo imodzi nʼkutayika, kodi sayatsa nyale ndi kusesa mʼnyumba ndi kufuna mosamalitsa mpaka atayipeza?
9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the zueza which I had lost.'
Ndipo pamene wayipeza, amayitana anzake, ndi anansi pamodzi nati, ‘Kondwerani nane; ine ndayipeza ndalama yanga yotayika ija.’
10 Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting."
Momwemonso, Ine ndikukuwuzani kuti angelo a Mulungu amakondwera kwambiri chifukwa cha wochimwa mmodzi amene watembenuka mtima.”
11 He said, "A certain man had two sons.
Yesu anapitiriza kunena kuti, “Panali munthu amene anali ndi ana aamuna awiri.
12 The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of your property.' He divided his livelihood between them.
Wamngʼonoyo anati kwa abambo ake, ‘Abambo, patseni gawo langa la chuma chanu.’ Ndipo iye anawagawira awiriwo chuma chawo.
13 Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and traveled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.
“Pasanapite nthawi, wamngʼonoyo anasonkhanitsa chuma chake chonse, napita ku dziko lakutali ndipo kumeneko anayamba kumwaza chuma chake mʼnjira zachitayiko.
14 When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.
Iye atawononga zonse, kunagwa njala yoopsa mʼdziko lonselo ndipo anayamba kusauka.
15 He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.
Iye anapita kwa nzika ina ya dzikolo nakakhala naye ndi kumagwira ntchito, amene anamutumiza ku munda kukadyetsa nkhumba.
16 And he wanted to fill himself with the carob pods that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.
Iye analakalaka atakhutitsa mimba yake ndi makoko amene nkhumbazo zinkadya, koma panalibe wina amene anamupatsa kanthu.
17 But when he came to himself he said, 'How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough to spare, and I'm dying here with hunger.
“Maganizo ake atabweramo, iye anati, ‘Ndi antchito angati a abambo anga amene ali ndi chakudya chimene amadya nʼkutsalako ndipo ine ndili pano kufa ndi njala!
18 I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.
Ine ndinyamuka ndi kubwerera kwa abambo anga ndipo ndikati kwa iwo: abambo, ine ndachimwira kumwamba ndi kwa inu.
19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'
Ndine wosayeneranso kutchedwa mwana wanu; munditenge ngati mmodzi wa antchito anu.’
20 "He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Ndipo iye ananyamuka ndi kupita kwa abambo ake. “Koma iye akanali patali, abambo ake anamuona ndipo anamvera chisoni; anathamangira mwanayo, namukumbatira ndi kupsompsona.
21 The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
“Mwanayo anati, ‘Abambo, ine ndachimwira kumwamba ndi inunso. Ine sindiyenera konse kutchedwa mwana wanu.’
22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Quickly, bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.
“Koma abambowo anati kwa antchito ake, ‘Fulumirani! Bweretsani mkanjo wabwino kwambiri ndipo mumuveke. Muvekeni mphete ndi nsapato.
23 Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;
Bweretsani mwana wangʼombe wonenepa ndipo iphani. Tiyeni tikhale ndi phwando ndi kukondwerera.
24 for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.' They began to celebrate.
Pakuti mwana wangayu anali wakufa, ndipo ali ndi moyonso; iye anatayika ndipo wapezeka.’ Chomwecho anayamba kukondwerera.
25 "Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
“Nthawi imeneyi, mwana wake wamkulu uja anali ku munda. Iye atafika pafupi ndi nyumba, anamva anthu akuyimba ndi kuvina.
26 He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on.
Ndipo iye anayitana mmodzi wa antchito, namufunsa chimene chimachitika.
27 He said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.'
Iye anayankha kuti, ‘Mʼbale wako wabwera ndipo abambo ako apha mwana wangʼombe wonenepa chifukwa wabwera wamoyo ndipo ali bwino.’
28 But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and pleaded with him.
“Mwana wamkulu anakwiya ndipo anakana kulowa. Chomwecho abambo ake anatuluka ndi kumudandaulira.
29 But he answered his father, 'Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.
Koma iye anayankha abambo ake kuti, ‘Taonani! Zaka zonsezi ndakhala ndikukutumikirani kugwira ntchito yowawa ndipo palibe pamene sindinamvere malamulo anu. Koma inu simunandipatse ngakhale mwana wambuzi kuti ine ndichite phwando ndi anzanga.
30 But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'
Koma pamene mwana wanu uyu amene wawononga chuma chanu ndi achiwerewere wabwera ku nyumba, inu mwamuphera mwana wangʼombe wonenepa.’”
31 "He said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.
Abambowo anati, “Mwana wanga, iwe umakhala ndi ine nthawi zonse ndipo zonse ndili nazo ndi zako.
32 But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this brother of yours was dead and is alive; and he was lost, and is found.'"
Koma tinayenera kukondwera ndi kusangalala, chifukwa mʼbale wako uyu anali wakufa ndipo ali ndi moyonso; iye anali wotayika ndipo wapezeka.”
