Luke 11
1 It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as Yukhanan also taught his disciples."
फिर ऐसा हुआ कि वो किसी जगह दुआ कर रहा था; जब कर चुका तो उसके शागिर्दों में से एक ने उससे कहा, “ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! जैसा युहन्ना ने अपने शागिर्दों को दुआ करना सिखाया, तू भी हमें सिखा।”
2 So he said to them, "When you pray, say, 'Our Father in heaven, holy be your name. May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
उसने उनसे कहा, “जब तुम दुआ करो तो कहो, ऐ बाप! तेरा नाम पाक माना जाए, तेरी बादशाही आए।
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
'हमारी रोज़ की रोटी हर रोज़ हमें दिया कर।
4 And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"
और हमारे गुनाह मु'आफ़ कर, क्यूँकि हम भी अपने हर क़र्ज़दार को मु'आफ़ करते हैं, और हमें आज़माइश में न ला'।”
5 He said to them, "Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
फिर उसने उनसे कहा, “तुम में से कौन है जिसका एक दोस्त हो, और वो आधी रात को उसके पास जाकर उससे कहे, 'ऐ दोस्त, मुझे तीन रोटियाँ दे।
6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,'
क्यूँकि मेरा एक दोस्त सफ़र करके मेरे पास आया है, और मेरे पास कुछ नहीं कि उसके आगे रख्खूँ।
7 and he from within will answer and say, 'Do not bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give it to you'?
और वो अन्दर से जवाब में कहे, 'मुझे तकलीफ़ न दे, अब दरवाज़ा बंद है और मेरे लड़के मेरे पास बिछोने पर हैं, मैं उठकर तुझे दे नहीं सकता।
8 I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
मैं तुम से कहता हूँ, कि अगरचे वो इस वजह से कि उसका दोस्त है उठकर उसे न दे, तोभी उसकी बेशर्मी की वजह से उठकर जितनी दरकार है उसे देगा।
9 "I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.
पस मैं तुम से कहता हूँ, माँगो तो तुम्हें दिया जाएगा, ढूँडो तो पाओगे, दरवाज़ा खटखटाओ तो तुम्हारे लिए खोला जाएगा।
10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
क्यूँकि जो कोई माँगता है उसे मिलता है, और जो ढूँडता है वो पाता है, और जो खटखटाता है उसके लिए खोला जाएगा।
11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, he won't give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
तुम में से ऐसा कौन सा बाप है, कि जब उसका बेटा रोटी माँगे तो उसे पत्थर दे; या मछली माँगे तो मछली के बदले उसे साँप दे?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
या अंडा माँगे तो उसे बिच्छू दे?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Rukha d'Qudsha to those who ask him?"
पस जब तुम बुरे होकर अपने बच्चों को अच्छी चीज़ें देना जानते हो, तो आसमानी बाप अपने माँगने वालों को रूह — उल — क़ुद्दूस क्यूँ न देगा।”
14 He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It happened, when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.
फिर वो एक गूँगी बदरूह को निकाल रहा था, और जब वो बदरूह निकल गई तो ऐसा हुआ कि गूँगा बोला और लोगों ने ता'ज्जुब किया।
15 But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Baelzebub, the prince of the demons."
लेकिन उनमें से कुछ ने कहा, “ये तो बदरूहों के सरदार बा'लज़बूल की मदद से बदरूहों को निकालता है।”
16 Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
कुछ और लोग आज़माइश के लिए उससे एक आसमानी निशान तलब करने लगे।
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
मगर उसने उनके ख़यालात को जानकर उनसे कहा, “जिस सल्तनत में फ़ूट पड़े, वो वीरान हो जाती है; और जिस घर में फ़ूट पड़े, वो बरबाद हो जाता है।
18 If Satana also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Baelzebub.
और अगर शैतान भी अपना मुख़ालिफ़ हो जाए, तो उसकी सल्तनत किस तरह क़ाईम रहेगी? क्यूँकि तुम मेरे बारे में कहते हो, कि ये बदरूहों को बा'लज़बूल की मदद से निकालता है।
19 But if I cast out demons by Baelzebub, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges.
और अगर में बदरूहों को बा'लज़बूल की मदद से निकलता हूँ, तो तुम्हारे बेटे किसकी मदद से निकालते हैं? पस वही तुम्हारा फ़ैसला करेंगे।
20 But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come to you.
लेकिन अगर मैं बदरूहों को ख़ुदा की क़ुदरत से निकालता हूँ, तो ख़ुदा की बादशाही तुम्हारे पास आ पहुँची।
21 "When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.
जब ताक़तवर आदमी हथियार बाँधे हुए अपनी हवेली की रखवाली करता है, तो उसका माल महफ़ूज़ रहता है।
22 But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides up his plunder.
लेकिन जब उससे कोई ताक़तवर हमला करके उस पर ग़ालिब आता है, तो उसके सब हथियार जिन पर उसका भरोसा था छीन लेता और उसका माल लूट कर बाँट देता है।
23 "He that is not with me is against me. He who does not gather with me scatters.
जो मेरी तरफ़ नहीं वो मेरे ख़िलाफ़ है, और जो मेरे साथ जमा नहीं करता वो बिखेरता है।”
24 The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the person, passes through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none, he says, 'I will turn back to my house from which I came out.'
“जब नापाक रूह आदमी में से निकलती है तो सूखे मुक़ामों में आराम ढूँडती फिरती है, और जब नहीं पाती तो कहती है, 'मैं अपने उसी घर में लौट जाऊँगी जिससे निकली हूँ।
25 When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
और आकर उसे झड़ा हुआ और आरास्ता पाती है।
26 Then he goes, and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that person becomes worse than the first."
फिर जाकर और सात रूहें अपने से बुरी अपने साथ ले आती है और वो उसमें दाख़िल होकर वहाँ बसती हैं, और उस आदमी का पिछला हाल पहले से भी ख़राब हो जाता है।”
27 It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the crowd lifted up her voice, and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you."
जब वो ये बातें कह रहा था तो ऐसा हुआ कि भीड़ में से एक 'औरत ने पुकार कर उससे कहा, मुबारिक़ है वो पेट जिसमें तू रहा और वो आंचल जो तू ने पिए।”
28 But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."
उसने कहा, “हाँ; मगर ज़्यादा मुबारिक़ वो है जो ख़ुदा का कलाम सुनते और उस पर 'अमल करते हैं।”
29 When the crowds were gathering together to him, he began to say, "This generation is an evil generation. It seeks after a sign. No sign will be given to it but the sign of Yaunan.
जब बड़ी भीड़ जमा होती जाती थी तो वो कहने लगा, “इस ज़माने के लोग बुरे हैं, वो निशान तलब करते हैं; मगर यहून्ना के निशान के सिवा कोई और निशान उनको न दिया जाएगा।”
30 For even as Yaunan became a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of Man be to this generation.
क्यूँकि जिस तरह यहून्ना निनवे के लोगों के लिए निशान ठहरा, उसी तरह इब्न — ए — आदम भी इस ज़माने के लोगों के लिए ठहरेगा।
31 The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the people of this generation, and will condemn them: for she came from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Shelemun; and look, one greater than Shelemun is here.
दक्खिन की मलिका इस ज़माने के आदमियों के साथ 'अदालत के दिन उठकर उनको मुजरिम ठहराएगी, क्यूँकि वो दुनिया के किनारे से सुलैमान की हिक्मत सुनने को आई, और देखो, यहाँ वो है जो सुलैमान से भी बड़ा है।
32 The people of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Yaunan, and look, one greater than Yaunan is here.
निनवे के लोग इस ज़माने के लोगों के साथ, 'अदालत के दिन खड़े होकर उनको मुजरिम ठहराएँगे; क्यूँकि उन्होंने यहून्ना के एलान पर तौबा कर ली, और देखो, यहाँ वो है जो यहून्ना से भी बड़ा है।
33 "No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
“कोई शख़्स चराग़ जला कर तहखाने में या पैमाने के नीचे नहीं रखता, बल्कि चराग़दान पर रखता है ताकि अन्दर जाने वालों को रोशनी दिखाई दे।
34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
तेरे बदन का चराग़ तेरी आँख है, जब तेरी आँख दुरुस्त है तो तेरा सारा बदन भी रोशन है, और जब ख़राब है तो तेरा बदन भी तारीक है।
35 Therefore see whether the light that is in you is not darkness.
पस देख, जो रोशनी तुझ में है तारीकी तो नहीं!
36 If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light."
पस अगर तेरा सारा बदन रोशन हो और कोई हिस्सा तारीक न रहे, तो वो तमाम ऐसा रोशन होगा जैसा उस वक़्त होता है जब चराग़ अपने चमक से रोशन करता है।”
37 Now as he spoke, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in, and sat at the table.
जो वो बात कर रहा था तो किसी फ़रीसी ने उसकी दा'वत की। पस वो अन्दर जाकर खाना खाने बैठा।
38 When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that he had not first washed himself before dinner.
फ़रीसी ने ये देखकर ता'अज्जुब किया कि उसने खाने से पहले ग़ुस्ल नहीं किया।
39 The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
ख़ुदावन्द ने उससे कहा, “ऐ फ़रीसियों! तुम प्याले और तश्तरी को ऊपर से तो साफ़ करते हो, लेकिन तुम्हारे अन्दर लूट और बदी भरी है।”
40 You foolish ones, did not he who made the outside make the inside also?
ऐ नादानों! जिसने बाहर को बनाया क्या उसने अन्दर को नहीं बनाया?
41 But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and see, all things will be clean to you.
हाँ! अन्दर की चीज़ें ख़ैरात कर दो, तो देखो, सब कुछ तुम्हारे लिए पाक होगा।
42 But woe to you Pharisees. For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
“लेकिन ऐ फ़रीसियों! तुम पर अफ़सोस, कि पुदीने और सुदाब और हर एक तरकारी पर दसवाँ हिस्सा देते हो, और इन्साफ़ और ख़ुदा की मुहब्बत से ग़ाफ़िल रहते हो; लाज़िम था कि ये भी करते और वो भी न छोड़ते।
43 Woe to you Pharisees. For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.
ऐ फ़रीसियों! तुम पर अफ़सोस, कि तुम 'इबादतख़ानों में आ'ला दर्जे की कुर्सियाँ और और बाज़ारों में सलाम चाहते हो।
44 Woe to you. For you are like hidden graves, and the people who walk over them do not know it."
तुम पर अफ़सोस! क्यूँकि तुम उन छिपी हुई क़ब्रों की तरह हो जिन पर आदमी चलते है, और उनको इस बात की ख़बर नहीं।”
45 One of the Law scholars answered him, "Teacher, in saying this you insult us also."
फिर शरा' के 'आलिमों में से एक ने जवाब में उससे कहा, “ऐ उस्ताद! इन बातों के कहने से तू हमें भी बे'इज़्ज़त करता है।”
46 He said, "Woe to you Law scholars also. For you load people with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won't even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.
उसने कहा, “ऐ शरा' के 'आलिमों! तुम पर भी अफ़सोस, कि तुम ऐसे बोझ जिनको उठाना मुश्किल है, आदमियों पर लादते हो और तुम एक उंगली भी उन बोझों को नहीं लगाते।
47 Woe to you. For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
तुम पर अफ़सोस, कि तुम तो नबियों की क़ब्रों को बनाते हो और तुम्हारे बाप — दादा ने उनको क़त्ल किया था।
48 So you are witnesses and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.
पस तुम गवाह हो और अपने बाप — दादा के कामों को पसन्द करते हो, क्यूँकि उन्होंने तो उनको क़त्ल किया था और तुम उनकी क़ब्रें बनाते हो।
49 Therefore also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,
इसी लिए ख़ुदा की हिक्मत ने कहा है, मैं नबियों और रसूलों को उनके पास भेजूँगी, वो उनमें से कुछ को क़त्ल करेंगे और कुछ को सताएँगे।
50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
ताकि सब नबियों के ख़ून का जो बिना — ए — 'आलम से बहाया गया, इस ज़माने के लोगों से हिसाब किताब लिया जाए।
51 from the blood of Habeil to the blood of Zekharya, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.' Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
हाबिल के ख़ून से लेकर उस ज़करियाह के ख़ून तक, जो क़ुर्बानगाह और मक़्दिस के बीच में हलाक हुआ। मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि इसी ज़माने के लोगों से सब का हिसाब किताब लिया जाएगा।
52 Woe to you Law scholars. For you took away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."
ऐ शरा' के 'आलिमों! तुम पर अफ़सोस, कि तुम ने मा'रिफ़त की कुंजी छीन ली, तुम ख़ुद भी दाख़िल न हुए और दाख़िल होने वालों को भी रोका।”
53 And when he left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly, and to provoke him to speak about many things;
जब वो वहाँ से निकला, तो आलिम और फ़रीसी उसे बे — तरह चिपटने और छेड़ने लगे ताकि वो बहुत से बातों का ज़िक्र करे,
54 lying in wait for him, seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.
और उसकी घात में रहे ताकि उसके मुँह की कोई बात पकड़े।
