< John 3 >
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Niqadimus, a ruler of the Jewish people.
Lino kwakaliwo mu Falisi wakali kutegwa Nikkodimasi, muzululi wama Juda.
2 This man came to him at night, and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him."
Ooyo mwaalumi wakaza kuli Jesu mansiku, mpawo wakati kulinguwe, “Muyiisyi kuti uli muyiisyi wakazwa kuli Leza, nkaambo tawope ukonzya kuchita zitondeezyo eezyo chita ado Leza ulaanguwe.
3 Yeshua answered him, "Truly, truly, I tell you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
Jesu wakasandula kuli nguw, “Nkasimpe, kasimpe ado muntu wazyalwa bupya lubo takonzyi kubona bwami bwa Leza.”
4 Niqadimus said to him, "How can anyone be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
Nikkodemasi wakati kulinguwe, “Mbubuli muntu mbwakonzya kuzyalwa nkali wachembaala? Tachikonzyoi kunjila lwabili mutumbu lyabanyina mpawo akuzyalwa, ulakonzya na?
5 Yeshua answered, "Truly, truly, I tell you, unless one is born of water and Rukha he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
Jesu wakasandula, “Nkasimpe, nkasimpe ado muntu wazyalwa amaanzi amuuya, takonzyi kunjila mubwami bwa Leza.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Rukha is spirit.
Eecho chizyalwa kunyama ninyama, mpawo eecho chizyalwa kumuuya muuya.
7 Do not be surprised that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
Utagambi eecho nchindakwaambila, uyeelede kuzwalwa bupya.
8 The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Rukha."
Luuwo luloonga kufumbwa nkuluyanda; ulamvwa muzuumo pesi tokonzyi kuziba nkulwazwa nekunba nkuluya. Nkikaako woonse muntu ooyo uzyalwa amuuya mbwabede.
9 Niqadimus answered and said to him, "How can these things be?"
Nikkodemasi wakasandula kuti, “Mbubuli mbuzikonzya kuba zintu eezi?”
10 Yeshua answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israyel, and do not understand these things?
Jesu wakasandula wati kulinguwe, “Uli mwiiyi wa Isiolayili na aboobo tomvwisyi zintu eezi?
11 Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.
Nkasimpe, nkasimpe ndakwaambila, twaambwa nzitwizi, mpawo tupa bumboni aatala anzitwakabona. Aboobo totambuli bumboni bwesu.
12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
Na ndakaambide aatala azintu zyanyika mpawo twasyoma, mbuli mbokonzya kusyoma na ndakwambila ataala azintu zyajulu?
13 And no one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
Tawope wakaliinkide kujulu kunze kwayooyo wakaseluka kuzwa kujulu- Mwana aa Muntu.
14 And as Mushe lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
Mbubonya mbuli Mozesi mbwakasumpula nzoka munkanda, mbobonya Mwana aa Muntu mbwayosumpulwa,
15 so that everyone who believes in him may have life without end. (aiōnios )
kuti boonse basyoma bakabe abuumi butamani. (aiōnios )
16 For this is how God loved the world: he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have life without end. (aiōnios )
Oobuya Leza mbwakayandisya nyika, eelyo wakiipa Mwana wakwe simuzyalwa aalike kuti kufumbwa uumusyoma mulinguwe atafwidilili pesi kuti aabe aabumi butamani. (aiōnios )
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Obuya Leza takatuma Mwana munyika kuti azoobeteke nyoka, pesi kuti azoofutule nyika kwiinfa mulinguwe.
18 The one who believes in him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Ooyo usyoma muli nguwe takoyoobetekwa, pesi ooyo utasyomi wabetekwa kale nkaambo taasyoma muzina lya Mwana alike wa Leza.
19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their works were evil.
Aaka nkikaambo kakutonga: Mumuni wasika munyika mpawo bantu bayanda mudima kwiinda mumuni nkaambo nchito zyabo nzyabubi.
20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, so that his works will not be exposed.
Woonse uuchita bubi wasula mumuni aboobo tasiki kumumuni, kuchitila nchito eezi kuti zitabonwi.
21 But the one who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."
Nikuba kuti, ooyo uuchita kasimpe wasika kumumuni kuchitila zilaantanganana ziboneke eezyo nchito kuti zyachoitwa muli Leza.
22 After these things, Yeshua came with his disciples into the land of Yehuda. He stayed there with them, and was baptizing.
Musule acheechi, Jesu abasikwiiya bakwe bakayinka munyika ya Judiya. Ooko wakakukkala kkala antoomwe ambabo akubbabbatizya.
23 Now Yukhanan also was baptizing in Ain-Yaun near Shalim, because there was much water there. They came, and were baptized.
Lino Joni alakwe wakali kubbabbatizya mu Ayinoni afwiifwi ku Salimu nkaambo kwakali meenda mayingi nkuko. Bantu bakalikusika kulinguwe mpawo bakali ku bbabbatizigwa,
24 For Yukhanan was not yet thrown into prison.
nkaambo Joni takalina waalwa muntolongo.
25 Now a dispute arose between Yukhanan's disciples with a Jew about purification.
Lino aawo kwakabuka lukazyano aakati kabasikwiiya ba Joni aba Juda aatala aapobwe lyakusanzyania.
26 And they came to Yukhanan, and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Yurdinan, to whom you have testified, look, he is baptizing, and everyone is coming to him."
Bayiinka kuli Joni mpawo bamwaambila kuti, “Labbi, ooyo wakali aanduwe kulimwi bbazu lyamulonga wa Jodani, aatala ayooyo ngwakalungulula, laanga, uliiku bbabbatizya mpawo boonse balikwiinka kulinguwe.”
27 Yukhanan answered, "No one can receive anything, unless it has been given to him from heaven.
Joni wakasandiula, “Muntu takonzyi kutambula chintu na chapegwa kulinguwe kuzwa kujulu.
28 You yourselves bear me witness that I said, 'I am not the Meshikha,' but, 'I have been sent before him.'
Iwe lwako omwini ulanzya kupa bukamboni bwacheecho nchindakaamba, pesi kuti takatumwa kunembo lyakwe.
29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine is now complete.
Mulumi ngwaasibwiinga. Lino muzolwani wasibwiinga, ooyo uyiimikila akuswiilila nguwe, ulabotelwa kapati nkkambo kajwi lyasibwiinga. Eechi lino, ndo0lukondo lwangu ngalwazulila.
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
Weelela kuti kusumpulwa mebo ndifwiinsigwe.
31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
Ooyo uzwa kujulu ulaajulu azyoonse. Ooyo uzwa aansi uzwa aansi mpawo wambuula aatala aansi. Ooyo uzwa kujulu uli aajulu azyoonse.
32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.
Ulungululua aatala acheecho nchakabona anchakamvwa, pesi taakwe uzumina bukamboni bwakwe.
33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.
Ooyo utambula bukamboni wazuminina kuti Leza nkasimpe.
34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for he does not give the Rukha by measure.
Ooyo Leza ngwatuma wambuula majwi aa Leza. Pesi tapi mweelo wamuuya.
35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
Taata uyanda Mwana mpawo wakamupa zyoonse zintu mumaboko aakwe.
36 Whoever believes in the Son has everlasting life, but whoever refuses to believe in the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." (aiōnios )
Ooyo usyoma ku Mwana uli aabuumi butamani, pesi ooyo ukaka Mwana takwe kuyoobona buumi, pesi bukali bwa Leza bulakkala aalinguwe.” (aiōnios )
