John 21
1 After these things, Yeshua revealed himself again to the disciples at Lake Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.
Ngemva kwesikhathi uJesu waphinda waziveza kubafundi bakhe oLwandle lwaseThibheriyasi. Kwenzakala kanje:
2 Shimon Kipha, Tama called the Twin, Nathanayil of Qatne in Galila, and the sons of Zabedai, and two others of his disciples were together.
USimoni Phethro, loThomasi (othiwa nguDidimasi) loNathaneli waseKhana eseGalile, lamadodana kaZebhediya labanye abafundi ababili babendawonye.
3 Shimon Kipha said to them, "I'm going fishing." They told him, "We are also coming with you." They went out, and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.
USimoni Phethro wabatshela wathi, “Ngisayagola inhlanzi” bona bathi, “Sizahamba lawe.” Ngakho baphuma bayangena esikepeni kodwa kababambanga lutho ngalobobusuku.
4 But when day had already come, Yeshua stood on the beach, yet the disciples did not know that it was Yeshua.
Ekuseni kakhulu uJesu wema ekhunjini kodwa abafundi kabananzelelanga ukuthi kwakunguJesu.
5 Yeshua therefore said to them, "Children, have you anything to eat?" They answered him, "No."

6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." They cast it therefore, and now they weren't able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.
Wathi, “Phoselani umambule wenu ngakwesokunene kwesikepe lizagola khona.” Bathe sebenze njalo behluleka ukudonsa umambule ngenxa yobunengi benhlanzi.
7 That disciple therefore whom Yeshua loved said to Kipha, "It's the Lord." So when Shimon Kipha heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around him (for he was naked), and threw himself into the lake.

8 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away), dragging the net full of fish.
Abanye abafundi balandela ngesikepe bedonsa umambule ugcwele inhlanzi ngoba babengakhatshana lasokhunjini, kwakungaba yizinyathelo ezilikhulu.
9 So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish placed on it, and bread.
Ekufikeni kwabo okhunjini babona umlilo wamalahle uvutha kulenhlanzi phezulu kanye lesinkwa.
10 Yeshua said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have just caught."
UJesu wathi kubo, “Lethani ezinye inhlanzi elizibambileyo.”
11 Shimon Kipha went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net was not torn.
USimoni Phethro wagada esikepeni, wadonsela umambule okhunjini. Wawugcwele inhlanzi ezinkulu, zilikhulu lamatshumi amahlanu lantathu, kodwa loba zinengi kangaka umambule kawudabukanga.
12 Yeshua said to them, "Come and eat breakfast." None of the disciples dared inquire of him, "Who are you?" knowing that it was the Lord.
UJesu wathi kubo, “Wozani lizokudla.” Kakho kubafundi owaqunga isibindi sokumbuza ukuthi, “Ungubani wena?” Bakwazi ukuthi yiNkosi.
13 Then Yeshua came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.
UJesu weza, wathatha isinkwa wabanika, wenza njalo langenhlanzi.
14 This is now the third time that Yeshua was revealed to his disciples, after he had risen from the dead.
Lesi kwasekuyisikhathi sesithathu uJesu ezibonakalisa kubafundi bakhe ngemva kokuvuswa kwabafileyo.
15 So when they had eaten their breakfast, Yeshua said to Shimon Kipha, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
Sebeqedile ukudla, uJesu wathi kuSimoni Phethro, “Simoni, ndodana kaJohane, ungithanda ngeqiniso na okudlula laba abanye?” Wathi, “Yebo, Nkosi, uyakwazi ukuthi ngiyakuthanda.” UJesu wathi, “Phana amawundlu ami ukudla.”
16 He said to him again a second time, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
UJesu waphinda wathi, “Simoni, ndodana kaJohane, uyangithanda ngeqiniso na?” Waphendula wathi, “Yebo, Nkosi, uyakwazi ukuthi ngiyakuthanda.” UJesu wathi, “Gcina izimvu zami.”
17 He said to him the third time, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me?" Kipha was grieved because he asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you." Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Wasesithi kuye okwesithathu, “Simoni, ndodana kaJohane, uyangithanda na?” UPhethro wadabuka ngoba uJesu wambuza okwesithathu wathi, “Uyangithanda na?” Wathi, “Nkosi, uyazazi izinto zonke; uyakwazi ukuthi ngiyakuthanda.” UJesu wathi, “Phana izimvu zami ukudla.
18 Truly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you do not want to go."
Ngikutshela iqiniso ngithi, usesemutsha wawuzigqokisa, uziyele lapho othanda khona; kodwa nxa usuluphele, uzakwelula izandla zakho, ugqokiswe ngomunye, akuhole akuse lapho ongafuni ukuya khona.”
19 Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, "Follow me."
UJesu wakutsho lokhu ebonisa indlela yokufa uPhethro ayezadumisa uNkulunkulu ngayo. Wasesithi kuye, “Ngilandela!”
20 Then Kipha, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Yeshua sincerely loved, the one who had also leaned on Yeshua's chest at the evening meal and asked, "Lord, who is going to betray You?"
UPhethro wanyemukula wabona umfundi uJesu ayemthanda ebalandela. (Nguye lowo oweyama kuJesu esidlweni, owabuzayo wathi, “Nkosi, ngubani ozakuthengisa?”)
21 Kipha seeing him, said to Yeshua, "Lord, what about this man?"
UPhethro wathi embona wathi, “Nkosi, kanti lo-ke?”
22 Yeshua said to him, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me."
UJesu waphendula wathi, “Nxa ngifuna ukuthi asale ephila ngize ngibuye kulani lawe lokho? Wena kumele ungilandele.”
23 This saying therefore went out among the brothers, that this disciple would not die. Yet Yeshua did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?"
Ngenxa yalokhu, kwaba lehungahunga phakathi kwabazalwane lokuthi umfundi lo wayengezukufa. Kodwa uJesu katshongo ukuthi wayengezukufa; wathi nje kuphela, “Nxa ngifuna ukuthi asale ephila ngize ngibuye, kulani lawe lokho?”
24 This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.
Lo nguye umfundi ozifakazayo lezizinto, onguye owazibhala phansi. Siyazi ukuthi ubufakazi bakhe buqotho.
25 There are also many other things which Yeshua did, which if they would all be written, I suppose that even the world itself would not have room for the books that would be written.
UJesu wenza ezinye izinto ezinengi njalo. Aluba zonke zazingabhalwa phansi, ngibona ingathi lomhlaba wonke wawuzaswela indawo yezincwadi ezazingabhalwa.
